Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
Satoshi claims rights to Bitcoin Cash instead of Bitcoin? Roger must be so happy. His work finally gets acknowledged by the founder.
And he even wants money for every transaction. Why would a billionaire want a piece of some altcoin?
We should make a MMA cage fight so all these Satoshis can duke it out. First round Craig vs Ronald. The winner will face that horse faced lady that claimed Dorian was the real Satoshi Cheesy

This guy must be a joke! Or somebody that really hate Bitcoin Cash so much!  Grin
There was no copyright in open source community rather then "the authorship".
Even in the GPL license also mention about authorship rather than the "copyright".

Not sure whether this should be in the "alts" section. Since the trademark is for "Bitcoin cash".  Grin

Convicted fraudster Ronald Keala Kua Maria applied for the trademark of Bitcoin Cash, and calls himself Satoshi Nakamoto

Wants to charge 2% royalties for transactions over $800

Fascinating that "Satoshi" doesn't know the difference between "bitcoin" and "bitcoin cash".

Knowing a bit about copyright and trademark law - the obvious flaws are quite amusing.

Now that the IRS know who the real Satoshi is.....

LOL!! Funny how this man named Ronald Keala Kua Maria is claiming he is Satoshi Nakamoto. I am not sure how this is going to affect bitcoin. How this is going to affect his life and his family?

This is not right. Bitcoin was invented by Satoshi Nakamoto. Bitcoin cash was fraudulently forked from bitcoin.

Another trolling attempt from the Bitcoin Cash haters, and nothing to take seriously. But why would he stop there? He should register "Bitcoin Classic", "Bitcoin Unlimited", and "Bitcoin ABC" as his trademark as well. Hahaha.

Joking aside, the blockchain world is toxic. When did this "civil war" start, and who started it? Mike Hearn and Gavin Andresen during the "scaling debates"? I believe that issue should be over by now. Segwit was activated for the small blockers, and the big blockers have Bitcoin Cash.

I love just how few of them (zero) have managed to publicly, and fully verify their identity by signing the wallets from the beginning, that only Satoshi would have had access to.

that is a strange statement Smiley
there is no fully or partly verifying your identity, you either verify it or not and the verification is way too simple. for example by the time CW drama was ongoing, Charlie Lee (creator of LTC) simply signed a message from the LTC genesis block and posted it online for everyone to see and verify. it is that simple.
and there has been zero cases of proof so your in parenthesis zero is right not the "few" contradictory statement Tongue

Kua Maria also claims ownership of many domains of BCH related websites, such as thesatoshinakamoto.com, bitcoincopyrights.com, bitcoincashcopyright.com, bchcopyright.com, and others.

On these websites, however, visitors are redirected to the URL of the Kua Maria website, rkm.world, which offers “free basic plans”.
How about your opinion of Ronald Keala Kua Maria.

Domain name squatters are as old as the internet itself. As far as domain names are "first come first serve", then there's really nothing you can do about that. The fact that he claims to be satoshi doesn't give him special access to register anything above anyone else. He is just a troll.

I recently read how someone in uk registered the Bitcoin trademark and this would be a problem to sell merchandise with the bitcoin logo in there and so on.

http://bitcoinist.com/uk-based-company-secures-bitcoin-trademark-serves-etsy-seller-with-cease-and-desist/

This is pretty ridiculous but such is the trademark and copyrights world.

I love how many people claim to be Satoshi.

But even more than that, I love just how few of them (zero) have managed to publicly, and fully verify their identity by signing the wallets from the beginning, that only Satoshi would have had access to.

These clowns just get less and less intelligent seeming. And the guy wants to charge a 2% fee on transactions over 800 dollars?
Yeah. That's why the man (or woman!) created bitcoin. They wanted just a better paypal, where the fees still go to a centralized figure.

That makes sense.
Need to ostracize these impostors, and make sure they know we are onto them. Nothing but 2 bit scammers.

Satoshi would never write something like this:

Unfortunately for Ronald the real Satoshi could spell and was a meticulous writer.

The real Satoshi also owns around a million bitcoins - so wouldn't have to bother getting patents of charging a fee.
