There's an interesting promotion by Roobet "Roo's $100,000 Office Marsupial F.C." the prize is $100,000 and it will split to 50 lucky gamblers [1]. To join it we need to wager at least $10 to get 1 ticket, but if you bet in any football match with the same amount you will get 5 ticket. This mean it's more profitable to bet on football matches than the other sports or games if you're looking to win this contest.

[1] https://promotions.roobet.com/promotions/roos-100-000-office-marsupial-f-c

This type of promotion is done by roobet regularly, they have done it many times and there were some winners in the past with low number of tickets.
Some of previous raffle gave double ticket for playing in Pragmatic games IIRC, and now it is great that players will get x5 ticket by wagering in football matches.
Its been a while since my last play in roobet, I think I'll come back because of this raffle, collecting few tickets to get the chance to be one of the lucky 50 winners.

Yeah, they literally launch it one after another and so on. To stay updated with such promotions better join their telegram account. You will usually get instant notifications about all the small to big promotions that are in play. More or less few small hunts will also be there to earn extra bucks on the way. I am not sure but the 15 cents promo is ended long ago or at least I have not seen it lately. Otherwise on daily basis they used to give away these promo codes for few hundreds. You might think its small amount, but it was worth try and you could turn it into couple of ten's just like that by playing crash or dice. It was one of my favorite but I am more into their sports betting now.

<...>

regulations will bring good things, for concrete example:

if the governments manage to regulate the cryptocurrency market then they could put laws in which an online casino would have to have at least a physical office to obtain license in any country, it would also have to put funds in some physical bank and the owner of the online casino does not it could remain anonymous, with that we would no longer have cases of exaggerated scam as we have seen in a certain casino that is in this forum, people would already know where and how to report when a casino steals their money. this same rule for online casinos could be applied to exchanges, every market would gain from it

there are way more things to lose than to win with heavier regulations
the more a country create bureaucracy over the crypto markets, the more the crypto companies will move to simpler jurisdictions to deal with

even in your example casinos would be obligated to spend more with lawyers and bureaucrats in general, and would be obligated to convert part of their crypto earnings to fiat.

sounds good in theory but in practice it just creates more friction.

Roobet is also running an art contest again, this is only for skilled forum members, and this is the newest one https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/roobetcom-art-contest-winterholidays-2022-5-categories-5000-in-prizes-5422832
I think it's not correct to say this art contest if just for skilled forum members only because anyone can join regardless any degree, any tool or any medias you use to create your art. I never taking any art courses or graduated from art related degree like architecture, graphic design, animation, illustrator etc, but I just want to join the contest and try my best. Sometime I won, sometime I lose, but it's a part of learning for me.

Anyway I'm happy Roobet now choose 10 winners again, although it's not be easy since they need to choose best of 2 from each categories.

Does your casino have id verification when withdrawing winnings?
The moment you register with Roobet, you will have to fill out KYC form and yes before you withdraw it is required. Anyway, OP is not active anymore and you have to visit the site to confirm this. Roobet is a good site and one of the secure gambling site. Don’t forget to read terms and conditions before trying this site, know if it works for you.

For the moment, Roobet is one of the only sites that you need to fill in some personal information when your register. But in the end, a lot of casinos require KYC when you want to withdraw some money (even small amounts). I have needed to complete a full KYC to withdraw 0.01 BTC.
This is the thing that we should deal in the future as we progress and promote adoption and regulation.
So far, details with Roobet are still safe but then again better not to keep any money to any site for a long period of time. If you are an active gambling then better. KYC is a good thing to secure the site and maybe this is why Roobet is still a good site and very secured. No regret filling out KYC with Roobet, its also fun to play.

indeed most websites will end up adopting it if they want to comply with regulations

just for the records, KYC won't make a website more secure, if anything it'll make it less secure since the system can always be gamed by bad actors and documents can be sold on the dark web too if there's no good security system to store the data in a secure way or verify and delete it

as you said, KYC not only won't make the casino safer, but also if the casino doesn't have money they may be selling people's documents and nobody will suspect anything, this is without a doubt the biggest danger of doing KYC in a casino or even on any internet site where it is an anonymous owner site and without proper location, the casino may even have the courage to lie that it was some hacker who stole the documents when in fact they were the ones who sold people's documents, I for one example, I don't use many casinos precisely to avoid doing KYC in many casinos, due to this danger I mentioned, when the casino didn't ask for KYC and it has some very tempting promotion, I even make an exception and use the casino with due caution

indeed most websites will end up adopting it if they want to comply with regulations
If we live under control of governments, we must comply with their regulations when they launch regulations and seriously execute them. Cryptocurrency and blockchain are too new but soon we will see more regulations that only make things better.

Security of a website is not about KYC that is more related to money laundering detection and protect companies from governments. As companies that have licenses, they must comply with regulations and KYC is one of things they must comply with. KYC does not a website is better or worse.

can you tell me more about how regulations will make things better?

the transition from web 1 to web 2 had lots of regulations and it just paved the way for surveillance capitalism, it made things better for the geeks (like us) and for the elite but not really for the general audience.

with web 3 we're moving back to decentralize, it's simply against its nature to regulate
it flows.

Roubet regularly holds promotions like this, it's just that they make quite a lot of changes, for example in the number of players who will get prizes because in the past the total prizes were only for 10 lucky players but now it has become 50 so that more players have the chance to win.
Promotions like this are perfect for high rollers because the more often they play for large amounts of money, the more lottery tickets they can get to increase their chances of winning the lottery.
Considering the many high rollers there, it's natural that Roobet continues to provide attractive promotions so that the players don't leave them, online casino competition is very tight at the moment.

we can say that this is randomly sent by Roobet

I thought I got them as well because I received an email from Roobet which turned out to be different promotional emails though

This is a pretty decent offer though aside from the fact that you need to deposit as well. I have decent amount left in my Roobet account and definitely not thinking of going for another deposit but still $20 worth of free spins is a decent offer if you wager alot on slots

For those who have already registered at Roobet, check your email because maybe Roobet is sending a promotion to your account via email, namely 50 FreeSpins for Roo Bonanza slot games from Pragmatic Play, don't know if this is random or all users will get this FS, only valid for 7 days after a promotional email was sent to your email and I've claimed it got $17 from 50 FS
-snip-
I didn't get it, this mean this promotion is only for lucky users only.

Because you don't get this promotion, we can say that this is randomly sent by Roobet, and I'm glad I got it, right now some casinos do provide free money or free spins to their users and maybe they want to invite their users to come back to play there because I haven't played here for a long time, I haven't even logged in for a long time

However I see cash option when we click our currency on the top page when we already login, does this mean Roobet already accept fiat? although most people are comfortable to gamble with crypto, but usually when the casino accept fiat currency, the casino has an interesting games selections and sports. I've seen so many fiat casinos are more bigger and complete than crypto casino.

I saw it too, Roobet accepts Fiat deposits with bank transfers e-wallets as well as credit cards but this depends on where the player is https://roobet.com/payment-policy, so not all Roobet users can make deposits using Fiat, and I didn't find that in my account only cryptocurrency is available so the region I'm one of those not on the list to be able to deposit with fiat, but I think cryptocurrency is enough and safer.

I'm wondering why the hell do people want to hide their real name when they play in the casino? why do they put false data when creating casino accounts? what's the point in that? because in the real world when playing in the physical casino or any lottery the person puts real data and in my country for example when the person wins a lot of money they even show the face of the winner, Roobet.com is right to implement these KYC measures. but for new and unknown casinos I don't do KYC level 2 or 3 but I always provide my true data

I see your point about the need for registration with basic KYC verification. However, in general, people are not comfortable and don't want to show their real identity online. Ever heard of the saying that "the Internet is the Wild West"? Many people are convinced it's so dangerous to use their real identity online. That's why they use all sorts of nicknames to protect their privacy. It also has to do with anonymity - many people just want to be without anyone knowing what they're doing at a particular time and where they spend their money. This is why there are so many people who use VPNs and TOR browsers to protect their privacy online.

Another reason is that some people just don't want anyone including their boss, family members or friends knowing about their gambling activities. It's not uncommon for people to say that they have lost thousands of dollars in a single evening at the casino. It's also not uncommon for them to say that they don't want their spouse or partner to know about it. That's why there are so many people who choose to use anonymous payment methods including Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies when gambling online.

Whatever the reason is for hiding the identity, it seems like a good idea when playing from the privacy of your home. Although, I understand that there is a potential for scammers to take advantage of such situations.

You could always be having the option whether you would input your real information or would input false one.If you are doing gambling with small amounts or shall we say that you arent a whale

then you wont really be that mindful that much when it comes to this manner since you do know that you cant lose that much.So it do always boils down on someones preference if we do talk about
registering on a platform which do ask would these information.

Has this discussion had been talk over again and again? It shouldnt really be mentioned or should be talked since it would be common sense that it is really
on someones choice and preference whether he would pushed through on registering or not once he had known that it do really require up some basic information.
I wont be shocked if one day where these platforms would be gradually be going in line with this set up.

However, always keep in mind the possibility to abide in this requirement since it's quite common now.

Crypto casino is transitioning to a regulated platform.  It somehow affects many users but we must accept the fact that the government wanted its authority implemented if a casino is to do a service in their jurisdiction.

What casino is asking you for full KYC to be able to withdraw? Because in Roobet, you can already withdraw even you're in level 1.

I haven't encountered a casino that asked me for a full KYC verification yet, most are only KYC lvl 1.  Maybe if we hit millions of dollars, that will be the time they will require us for full KYC.   Most of the instances where a Casino asked for a higher level of KYC is to prove that the account owner doesn't multi-account to cheat or abuse their promotions.  But there is still a casino that allows withdrawal even if an account had not undergone KYC verification of any level.  But the maximum amount of withdrawal is limited.

with so many cheaters I've seen on the internet I'm starting to think that all casinos should ask for KYC level 1 at least for all customers when creating accounts, that would put an end to cheating and we wouldn't see so many people complaining that they are being accused of having too many accounts, because these people would have done KYC level 1 and the casino would have to ask them for their phone number and that would solve many problems that create headaches for people, I'm wondering why the hell do people want to hide their real name when they play in the casino? why do they put false data when creating casino accounts? what's the point in that? because in the real world when playing in the physical casino or any lottery the person puts real data and in my country for example when the person wins a lot of money they even show the face of the winner, Roobet.com is right to implement these KYC measures. but for new and unknown casinos I don't do KYC level 2 or 3 but I always provide my true data

True, KYC is to prevent bonus and promotional exploits.  With KYC, players can't easily cheat the system.  Since their name and location is recorded, any account the same name and location will automatically tag as multi-accounting and possibly suspended even before they do their plan of exploits.

Does your casino have id verification when withdrawing winnings?

Roobet has four-step KYC verification. For deposits and withdrawals only the first level is required. For level two and three, you need to provide proof of identity by uploading documents. The live support says that most players only need do the Level 1 KYC.

Quote
Step one verification: - KYC
Step one verification is a simple KYC (Know your customer), which every user and customer must do when signing up to the website before making the first withdrawal or deposit, as recommended in Directive 2018/843. Disregarding the payment choice, the amount of payment, the amount of withdrawing, the choice of withdrawing, and the nationality of the user or customer, step one verification must be done before any withdrawal or deposit, or other transaction can be made.

Step one verification is an online document that must be filled out by the user or customer faithfully. The following information must be filled in: first name, second name, date of birth, country of usual residence, and email. We may require the phone number additionally.

In case of misinformation or unfaithful filing, the Company may hold the funds until the KYC is approved. We might ask you to do steps two and three Verification (AML 1 and AML 2) before withdrawing any funds if you filled in intentionally wrong information in the KYC online document or close the account entirely, locking all funds permanently.

The Roobet technical support will randomly perform crosschecks to ensure the entered address matches the IP address's location. If the IP address location does not match the given address, the Company may lock the account for further investigation and request steps two and three Verification (AML 1 and AML 2). The Company will perform additional checks based on the situation, including, but not limited to, crosschecking for open sanctions and connections to illegal or fraudulent actions.

But those who don't ask Kyc have questionable reputation so I would rather choose what I trusted since it give me more peace of mind while my balance still on their casino. Roobet require only level one which is pretty fair to small gamblers so I guess there's no really big deal when they ask about this since they are reputable anyway and also they are successful so they provably make sure that the data of their costumers are totally safe on their hands.

it depends, for example when someone sees a new casino, created very recently, without reputation, then doing level 2, 3 and 4 KYC in a new casino without reputation is a big risk, but if at KYC level 1 they only ask for full name , country, address... so I don't see a problem with providing that, but there are people who ask about KYC because they are afraid of their documents being sold to scammers, but most people who don't like KYC and because they have a lot to hide , something like being from restricted countries or minors
