Thank you for your kind words! As I said, I don't feel offended when I win nothing from this contest because I enjoy the process of creating something arty, and I would never do it if there weren't at least a slight chance of earning something from it, either merits or money. Sorry for being so materialistic, but I read(or was it in a movie?) some time ago that art should sell itself, and I accepted the idea, and I've never changed my mind on the topic since then.
No you are saying right most of the members are taking part due to prize involvement at big level and if they take out the prizes then we won't see many of them participating in it.As humans we need to be incentivised in order to have some motivation and do the work. But the next part is main as if we don't win we atleast we got some experience which will help us later on.

Sometimes the merit is one of the main reason why other submit their arts since there are generous forum member gives a good amount of merits on the submissions made by the participants so even if they didn't win in the contest still their effort has been paid off due to the merit they get.  Maybe some other didn't expect with the prize since there are so many talented forum users join the contest.

I am also of the same opinion that even if we are slightly interested in these sort of art contest then we  should take part in it and learning and taking part will boost your self esteem and make your skills sharp even if you are not winning.I am hoping to take part in the upcoming one of Roobet and diversify my hands on this field also.

By the way you also have some good creative skills but the fact is there are some professional like Maus0728 who wins most of them and he is skilled and professional artist from whom we can learn lot and how to bring up artwork in attractive manner. But still try your best and who knows what the team might like.

As of works by Maus0728, I think all of us here like them. No doubt, he's a pro.

There's so many talented guys here but Maus0728 stand out among them since we can deny that his arts is so amazing that's why not surprising to see him winning the contest held by Roobet.

It always good to see great arts in the said contest so let see if we can see more from this in future and other people can compete art works. Also I think its best for Roobet to make this as their NFT since for sure this will create noise and exposure to them.
He is among some good and creative artists using his PS and other software skills to blend up a attractive art piece but if you surfed through the competition entries you would really find how much people have become creative and effective to present that artworks. It is not easy to win and stand out from them but still he's doing it.Best wishes to him and all others but will also personally try to present something in upcoming art contest.

Since we are talking about it, guys, I highly recommend you to take in the upcoming at contests. I personally took part in all of them, and even though I won nothing, I have never regretted participating. I'm not an artist myself, but, as anyone else, probably, sometimes I enjoy creating something arty. I enjoy the process and I want it to be seen by others and evaluated, and Roobet Art Contest gives you this opportunity. Look, the latest contest thread was checked 1770 times:

As I said, I won nothing, and rightly so, because the works in the top 10 were of much higher quality, but still this nice thing I created for the conest at home.

This is why I believe that we should not be waiting for them to promote something, they should be promoting the website itself and that is why it should be available for promotion without a need for something new at all.
The problem here is that the market of online crypto casinos is very competitive. There are now countless platforms and a single player often has accounts on several different platforms (I certainly do) and regularly switches between them.

Contests such as waggering contests simply attract a lot of people and ensure an increased gambling volume while the contests are running. As soon as the contest is over, the players look for other platforms that are hosting such contests. Focusing only on promoting the website will have much less success than classic advertising methods such as giveaways and contests.

In fact, i can't figure out why all those contests ended suddenly. Maybe the team decided to stop them after reaching their promotion goals but those contests had been running for about a year or more. I don't expect them to be a failed strategy especially that the prize pools weren't that big amounts.
Actually, i only see graphic design contests which are not the same contest as the betting ones.
I really wish Roobet consider to resume them soon. Even tough i didn't ever win in any of them  Tongue
There may also be other reasons why they no longer held the contest for example there is nothing new yet from their casino that they want to introduce that requires a contest to attract attention, but can see the betting contest again is very appreciated and very much fun when see who is the winner.
Marketing should not be done when there are just one thing they want to promote. It is something that you get to do whenever you have a chance to do it and that is the most important part. I know that it is not really a big deal, but still a contest out of nowhere is also important. If we get to wait for them to promote some new thing on their website then it means there is nothing that we could do in between all these new features.

This is why I believe that we should not be waiting for them to promote something, they should be promoting the website itself and that is why it should be available for promotion without a need for something new at all.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
I have that technique too, usually when I play slots I don't ever bet very high, but it's not because I think about what I can possibly win, what I think about is fun, slots allow me to relax, and I only play what I'm willing to lose, but I know that many people in the world have a lot of money, and it is very easy for them to make very large bets obtaining large profits, this is valid, however, in my personal opinion, wow, I admire that type of person who make bets at that level. I think that apart from having a lot of money willing to bet, they have a heart and nerves of steel, because not flinching in the face of large amounts is something to admire.
We and they are not the same, of course there are still many out there who have money to be willing to burn in gambling, regardless of the large amount of bets, they don't matter because they definitely have so much spare money and those who play it in slots are what I want how to feel the stakes are high, but what can I do I just want pleasure in betting with a small bet amount.
In fact I often see on youtube a streamer with big stakes always imagines how this is in my inner self.

What about their Christmas-New Year art contest? It was a bit more than one month long, and there were only 33 art works declared. Some users even managed to present several art works. 10 winners. The chances to take last place and get 300 bucks was around 33.3%. By looking at the works, if a participant put just a little effort and don't participate just to participate, his chances to win were rather high.
Roobet art contests are easily some of the best contests in this forum. I won one of the prizes in their recent art contest and I agree with you regarding higher chances of winning thanks to around 10 great prizes.

Another plus point of these contests is the fact that your chances of winning rise drastically if you are good at drawing different forms of art and it also requires zero investment(Excluding Time) from your side.

The art contest ended recently as the winners were announced by @Hhampuz just few days back but there might be another one on the table for all the participants to have big prize pot of $5k or below soon. There could be some reasons they have given a normal break and it's fine but i would say there will be another one from the roobet team whether art contest or any other type of event announcement soon.

Another advantage of those contests running here in bitcointalk forum that makes Roobet quite different from other platforms is that in most of the contests, forum users are are not required to provide their emails or any additional personal info to join the contests except those that require to have an account in the platform to guess number of wagers for instance or to find something hidden in the GUI design.

Everybody is welcome in Roobet. I think it's one of the fewest good gambling platforms in the crypto gambling industry nowadays and other platforms find it a little hard to compete with it.

It is already quite a while since Roobet held contest here on this forum (i.e. find the slot, guess the number of wagers, slot battles, sports predictions,...). I miss these contests are they were fun, free to participate (except for the slot battles) and you could win a nice price!

Yes those contests are free to participate. I missed guess the total wagers, its not easy to predict accurately the total wagers but its fun. Sometimes I even use as reference the previous total to make a calculation but unfortunately im still not lucky. On the other side I once win in guess the slot, its easy because of the clue so there are many winners and that includes me. Grin I hope they resume these contests again.

An hour ago Roobet also shared a big win from the Gate of Olympus slot bet of 2,460x multiplier Roobet never forgets that every user with a big win will definitely be exposed on his Twitter.
It's not a strong bet for me above $1  ;Dbut they are pretty lucky too.
-snip-
I usually never bet quite a bit more than a dollar either. You make corresponding profits with such high multipliers only with a lot of luck. If I would bet much higher contributions (5$ or 10$) the profit with such high multipliers would be of course much higher, but I would also be relatively fast at a balance of 0.

The Roobet was a great help to a lot of members of the forum that have drawing skills. The contest started just like yesterday and I didn't believe it will last long like this to the extent that other gambling sites also see the art contest as a medium of advertisement to attract new users.
I respect the people within the Roobet team that introduced the contest.

That's why i am active on twitter for most of the time or you can say check twice in a day to follow some new updates which help me to grab the early opportunity. These big wins are shared almost daily as some lucky players are coming out regularly with these sort of wins shared by Roobet then.Have followed the account on twitter and have notification on for the same to check if something important comes up.
I understand why so many people show interest in these giveaways, contests, games etc, but the truth is that the chances of winning them are slim(If the numbers are big) just like jackpots, raffles etc.

The various contests and games in the games and rounds section of this forum provide better odds of winning if you ask me.

Unfortunately there are way too many people who chase these things. After all, it is free and you do not spend money on most of them. This means that we are talking about something that is only valid for one part of the business world; the free loaders. I mean if you are spending time and earning something or at least have a chance to earn something but you are not spending any money on it then there are a lot of people who would love to do it.

I barely have like 1 hour to myself every day, I literally run around all day everyday and work hard and provide for my family, so a "potential win" can't make me spend more like 1 minute on something, either it has to pay or I am out. But this is just me, there are tons of people who do it the other way, people who end up working really hard on a free entry big reward contest just for a chance to win.

I miss seeing the Stevewilldoit Roobet videos.  Those guys can party...  It was hilarious seeing them refer to themselves as Roo Team Six in the peak of the Roobet Lambo giveaways.  Any plans to bring back that style of advertising?  I'm sure it must have cost more than a small fortune to make happen, and I'm always surprised we don't see more of that advertising campaign spill over onto these forums.  I think we'd all love to see 69 and Stevewilldoit participating on bitcointalk with some sort of giveaway or video.  Smiley
