~wherein blockchain has a block that contains our transactions and is derived from the previous block.
I don't think "derived" is the correct usage of the word, but I rather called it as connected/chained to the previous blocks.

They are using blockchain to protect our information.
~
And surely blockchain has nothing to do with all the KYC's being submitted to Roobet. The protection and encryption of all of our data lies on Roobet's database particularly on third party services such as VERIFF and SEON[1].

Yep, those services have its own respective privacy policy and how to handle their customer data. So at the very least, there is 3 entity that handles customer data with their own policy. Actually, Roobet does also explained it on their AML policy page, on that page, there is no specifically word blockchain being explained about the data protection. So, I don't know how could @Johnyz think that blockchain is being used Roll Eyes

They are using blockchain to protect our information.
Wait! This is inaccurate. Blockchain is an append-only ledger that consists of our cryptocurrency transactions that is being made on a daily basis. In terms of programming, blockchain is kinda similar from what we call as "linked list" wherein blockchain has a block that contains our transactions and is derived from the previous block.

And surely blockchain has nothing to do with all the KYC's being submitted to Roobet. The protection and encryption of all of our data lies on Roobet's database particularly on third party services such as VERIFF and SEON[1].

I don't see anything wrong with Robeet.. Even they are promoting some designing competition a few weeks back and their signature campaign is running for a very long time.
However, i do feel that KYC is something on which not everyone is comfortable. No matter how good or reputed the gambling site is, some people will just quit them if they have to do the KYC.
First of all i would advise you not to quote all the replies as it looks really weird and too long so quote the person you want to specifically reply to and then answer it accordingly.Speaking of KYC matters then there are many who will not be willing to adjust with these issues and will shift to some other sites that don't ask for any documentation but some are ok with level 1 KYC so it all depends on how we want to play and promotion for roobet is separate part from KYC.

I'm one of those people who avoid KYC, except for Roobet because it doesn't require any documents but i make sure i will never make deposit more than $500
the reason is I'm worried that one day they might ask for documents, the whales could have done the same thing so they went to another site, usually the people who avoid KYC are the whales for some reason.
Roobet is also the first gambling site that I comply with their kyc requirement, and yes its a good thing that they're not asking for any documents (for level 1).

Anyway, its still comfortable to gamble on sites without asking for our personal information because we'll never know what will happen if it gets compromise. However we have an option on which casinos to play, but in my case I still prefer Roobet as one of my trusted casino despite of the mandatory level 1 kyc in order to play.

They are using blockchain to protect our information, <...>

Could you please elaborate on that? How exactly do they use Blockchain to protect our information?

One of examples of shit post and into those people who dont even know on what Blockchain is.. He should at least have some time on researching on whats Blockchain and look back on what he said

and for sure he would changed up those words and telling that he's too dumb on making this comment.  Cool
Blockchain has nothing to do with those KYC information yet it is stored up on a database which could neither get compromised or exploit
out and even how trustable a platform is, it wouldnt still give out 100% assurance about safety of those infos.

Yeah, similar story here. Since I'm a privacy-conscious person, one of the main reasons I chose to play at crypto casinos was for the anonymity. I really don't want my personal information to be available on every single website I visit. It only takes one rogue employee to leak all of this information to the dark web. We've already seen cases like this in the past.

It's a good thing the KYC requirements on Roobet have several levels, so I completed only Level 1, which requires only basic personal information (it's still unnerving to have to provide my full name and address, but I guess we have to accept that).

its good that youre cautious with it
unfortunately data leaks are really common, better to keep your personal information as safe as possible
we never know what will be the next case

Roobet seems fine and I hope they have no problems in the future.
They are using blockchain to protect our information, I’m confident that we are all safe as long as you deal with reputable site especially they have funds for this. Well, with Roobet I’m also confident about our security though I doubt first about mandatory KYC but I can’t do anything about it, let’s just trust Roobet so they can stay on top and remains active, we’ll be more safe on this.

There’s no way Roobet can’t pay huge reward, I’m sure someone already won that big money since Roobet still remains as the most active site and they are indeed very generous. You can trust Roobet, and hopefully we can hear more updates with them especially on introducing new games and new way to gamble on their site.
They gave back to the users some of their profit that has been made, that sounds a good point here because we know it sounds they are not greedy and yet they are very generous upon giving prizes. Roobet was the fastest-growing casino that I have ever seen here in the forum and outside the forum, they are very popular on youtube as well. I think being generous and kind to the users will pretty much have a good result of having a good target audience. I hope there are more games to come on this casino and more prizes to hunt.

They are known for that and their aggressive marketing tactics what make them became more popular casino here and it's not surprising that in future they will defeat the other casino who became famous first before them so I think we can see more promotion and prizes to be given by them since even before we can see them doing this.

But I personally see Rootbet's growth starting to slow down not as aggressive as last year is this the effect of implementing KYC or am I wrong?
Promotions and streamers are also getting less active like Xposed for example has moved to another site some of his subscriptions may also move to the new site
From here we can see something is less active there the marketing team doesn't keep it.
It may be because of the application of KYC, but KYC in roobet can be said to be very basic so far I have never been asked to include any personal documents to meet this KYC. Many new casinos have sprung up with all the exciting promotions so it is very possible that players move from one casino to another that can greatly affect the development of roobet, good and active marketing can bring many things to the Casino.

Yes you are right KYC shouldn't be a problem because you don't need anything promotions and new casinos may be the most appropriate reason
Just look at the new casino initials 'R' which has recently grown big with some innovative offerings while Roobet only offers a new sportsbook which is not getting very good response because it's not easy to compete on the sportsbook side today.

I believe Roobet to be a legit site otherwise @Hhampuz would not have been managing their marketing activities here, and from what I see he’s time and time again created demand for them via signature campaigns and other contests relating to Roobet.

Also I don’t understand how one can feel that Roobet is slowing down, because I feel they’re actively building a user base, and while KYC does effect some users but I feel that many may be willing to do KYC, because Roobet has earned their trust hence I don’t see KYC being an issue in their growth plans for 2022.

Actually this is not related to legit or not of course Roobet is still one of the best it's just that its competitors are growing faster maybe you know what i mean initial 'R' and there are others. I say slow down because bets wagered is not as fast as last year also live bets can be calculated per second some whale players are also not visible in the live bets.
Maybe everyone's opinion is different regarding the growth of each site but what can be clearly seen is that the competitors are one step ahead.

The bets wagered indeed slowed down compared to last year but as you say, the competition is moving forwards at a fast pace. More and more casinos are now also offering a sportsbook and give out nice promotions. I am waiting on something new (new features) to come out from Roobet, thay may ramp up the activity again.

Well KYC contribute less on this since for sure people will less care about that especially when they know the casino is reputable. Also maybe the real reason on why some of the players go is due to the new competitors popping up for sure many gamblers like to try the other casino offered to their players that's why we can see the old roobet player go to another casino but possibly they will comeback and play again knowing Roobet is competitive casino.
That is what happens to most "new" casinos. Even if they are great and not have any problems, people like to chase the new one. So the growth becomes first unknown, then a little known but not trusted, then known and trusted, then known and trusted but bored, then cliche, then grow again in the future. I know a place that had something like that, to put in numbers imagine it like 1 to 5 to 10 to 8 to 12 again. Right now, we are at the 8 stage, which means it dropped a bit because it became the "bored" part.

All the people who know here trust this place and not leaving because they do not trust it, they leave because they got bored and checking out other places. Eventually there will be another increase slowly but we are going to have to wait for it. KYC impacted it when it first happened, the recent lack of interest can't be that, if it was then it would have happened at that time.

There's no way that they would go decentralized yet knowing these casinos are licensed which means that it is abiding the law or simply with those regulations thats why you shouldnt really think off about
the probabilities of these things. Roobet had received lots of negative impressions about on that such changes on asking out KYC into its users but they had claimed out that it didnt really
affect much when it comes to user base.

yes, makes sense, in the end it's all about the goals of each company (and each users)
I think most of the people when it comes to end users won't care that much to KYC to keep using a service/website they like.

You could easily find that they have been giving away $2500 as Twitter giveaways and some art contest on regular intervals with big amounts as prizes and doing the same for long time.Till this time they have given too much as promotion to the community and you will hardly find prize money low and usually it's big.So they are actively engaged in giving away to gambler's which they like and have made their name in the market and placed them among top crypto casino at this time.
