However, I think we are still at the same risk that ultrloa described. If one of our mail accounts is compromised, then all services we have registered with it are at risk (unless we use 2FA).

Unless you used the same password all over the sites that you registered then you are not risk, might want to start using random password generator to help you out in case you need a strong password. Even better that right now because you know that Roobet's database might be compromised, it might be a good time to start using 2FA in every account.

You would be surprised how many people use the same password for everything. In the past I also did it and even didn't use any 2FA. But learned from my mistakes and now I use most of the time the password generator from google and on various sites 2FA protection. Also just changed my password on Roobet, just to be sure.

That's why I have 4 emails total. I separate them as "my main work mail" "my spam mail" which I use for signing up to things that are not too important, my "crypto mail" and my "newsletter" mail.

The method you described is good, and I have a similar one. However, I think we are still at the same risk that ultrloa described. If one of our mail accounts is compromised, then all services we have registered with it are at risk (unless we use 2FA).

I do not know what the ideal solution is, but it would be great if we could use different email addresses for different services, just as we can use different BTC addresses. I wonder why no one has offered such a service yet?

I'm using dummy mail for registering an account here and everywhere since this is more safer option to do, so make sure you have the number so that when verification process come up you will have your important codes to verify your email. And in my opinion if you put your main mail upon registration on every site you go then you maybe prone from hacking since if your email got hack all of your accounts registered by using that email will be compromise.
It is not a dummy email as long as you have access to it, probably you can say its your secondary or third email or even 10th email its not really matters as long as you have access and can give authentication to your account when it's need. Emails may receive lot of spam messages and some of them may have phishing links that's why you should not let you primary email float through all around the internet.
That's why I have 4 emails total. I separate them as "my main work mail" "my spam mail" which I use for signing up to things that are not too important, my "crypto mail" and my "newsletter" mail. In my main work I just do work related stuff as imagined, in crypto one I have all of my exchanges and all that, in my newsletter I get usually political but sometimes sports related news, and in my spam mail I sign up for stuff that I could go without for months and not look back. This is why I believe that there is a good chance we could honestly end up with something that is riskless and I could basically do something or sign up anywhere without problem.

This was posted on vendors only sub already buyers to grab it. Roobet database for sale.

That is a pretty serious accusation or an absurd one!

I've looked to other sites and only find: RaidForum: Roobet database for sale: username:password.

My take is, if the cracker found a way to get the database, Roobet team should be warned by their system, I don't know exactly how the security system works, but if their system penetrated, there must be something set that should have alerted them. Another thing is if the penetrator has contacted their team, the team must be alerted and there must be a security check being done to verify the legitimacy.

I don't know much about RaidForum, but IIRC, if there are some leaks on that forum, the cracker at least shows the sample data of it. In fact, there is none on the link above. That may be enough to make the accusation false and just a FUD! but to be certain, it's better if someone from the Roobet team make a clarification.

According to one marketeer, seems that Roobet's Instagram account has been suspended

https://www.instagram.com/roobet/?hl=en
Is this another attack to crypto or Roobet account has been violating the terms of Instagram?
Well, they can just rename it or focus more on other social platform that still allows them to promote but of course they should review the terms again and see if they are also violating the terms on other social media, they should have done this to avoid any problem like this well they have to move on and learn from this.
I just found out that Roobet has an Instagram account Is it official? Because I see on the website in that they don't include Instagram but there are only Twitter and Telegram.
Honestly I don't follow the Instagram account so don't know what their marketing is on Instagram so that this can cause a suspension of his account.
But for this I still followed on marketing on Twitter compared to Instagram.

Well it seems the Roobet marketeer team did not read very well the TOS of Instagram and I think this is permanently suspended not the temporary one.
I have now drawn a conclusion and I think the reason will perhaps they reach beyond the maximum limit of likes per hour which is violating their TOS or it could be excessively frequent publications that are using the same photo which is lead to spam according to them. That social media is very strict and there are too many rules to follow so I think that is the reason Roobet account was permanently suspended.

Instead of Using a dummy email, You could use your own different email created by you. Gmail and yahoo are free services. You can create an email within a few minutes. IDK Why people suggesting to use dummy email for such important things. If you forget your password, you cannot recover your account. Sometimes casino needs verification. it happens often. if you log in from different IP, Casino needs device verification/New login verification Via Email. I think it's very important if you are a gambler.
Always use or have your secondary and third emails as an option receiving notifications, I often use it especially on some finance related accounts e.g. exchanges, gambling sites, non-custodial wallets etc. Using dummy emails isn't a good habit especially if you really the account you're using it will be in used in the future.

Its more ideal to use a secondary email if you don't want too you can use the +1 feature of the gmail which is more good if you want to use multiple emails but in gambling its good to use another email just make a new layer of security like email recovery and secret password incase the primary password won't work, It is not ideal to use a different IP address IMHO because for sure you will get bothered because of the email verification of every time you log in.
This is what i suggested him to have an secondary mail which will not bother him much and he can relax rather than going through all of them and check once he login to that mail but he will miss the latest updates from Roobet.

Well, the last email I got from them was on Tuesday.

And it seems that they alternate between Chef Roo and Team Roo.
In my case the last promotional email I received is last Wednesday. I have no problem receiving emails from them because its my choice to subscribe for their emails regardless even the content is for updates, promotional or announcement. I prefer to be updated and never missed whats goin on, the same goes for their social media account (Twitter). Actually, not only for Roobet but for all Casinos that im following since I have specific email used for these purposes.

Nope, I get a promotional email from Roobet almost every day now.... so it is not just over the Black Friday period.

Maybe those who visit roobet.com more frequently get promotional emails more often. I've checked my email box and I get emails from [email protected] once every 3 days +/-. Even though I am registered there long time ago, according to stats, I've started to receive more emails since September. This is the time I've started participating in Games and rounds promotions, winning and betting.
Really depends on how the system of Roobet works, I always visit my email and they have promotions almost everyday which force me on planning to un-subscribe for spamming reason well I got the updates from their social accounts and I think that’s already enough for me to know the current update with Roobet. Most probably we are receiving numbers of promotions differently we can’t just know the real numbers and there’s nothing to worry about this.
Now the issues are about promotion before about using a dummy email, well promotions are being generated systematically and probably if you miss something on Roobet there might be an error or you are not that active anymore. Promotions with gambling site are sometimes annoying since you’ll receive not just one in one day, most of the time I receive more promotions than usual. This is how good the promotion of Roobet it, aside from running a great campaign here in the forum.

Not only for gamblers but whoever using a platform/service should not commit sich mistake of using dummy email for the registration purpose, and ofcourse device Authorization maybe needed as well in case we are logging in from new device so if we don't have access to the email we used then we are done, we can't do anything further.
I understand if you are not serious about gambling and only want to do it once and get out, but at the end of the day it is fake email and temporary emails that gets you in trouble in the long run. So, if you want to gamble and get money out in the long run then getting a short term option at first would make it very difficult to get out later.

This is why if you are serious about gambling then you are right, you should definitely do something about it and you should be focusing on getting a better result from by putting in a real email. However, there is a small very tiny group that just wants to see how it works and then they could register with their real email. I do that with exchanges for example, I register with "10minutemail" stuff at first, check out the platform, and see if it looks legit, and then I register with my real mail, but I do not go out and trade with the temporary mail one.

Yes this is more advisable and also with other platform especially if we know we put some balance there since from this action we do we can assure that we are safe from any bad elements in the internet as well we can assure that our main email will not also get compromise especially that there are so many phising sites around. But anyways this kind of things will depends on the owners decision if they lazy to do it then maybe its not surprising if in future they will be compromised by the various attempt of frauds.

The experienced online gambler will know that they need to have secondary email to receive the promotions from many websites, including the gambling websites so they will not have this email problem sending too much email.
But we know that crypto gambling grows faster this year and makes many people engage in these crypto gambling games. They should consider having that secondary email so their primary email will not get so many promotional emails.
So hopefully, people who are new to the crypto gambling site will know how to anticipate the promotion email and will not have a problem in the future.
Sometimes, using a dummy email can be a good solution because when the code verification sends to our email, we can not open the email to use that code verification. In this matter, the secondary email is a must.
