Btw, not all users are forced to pass KYC, you can still use VPN and fill fake data in case of using Roobet service for fun with a small balance. This KYC thing protects players too and lets the Roobet team comply with the rules of regulation.
This is a very risky method. Most crypto gambling sites including Roobet don't encourage VPN usage(Some have strict rules against them) and filling in fake KYC will screw you over later on since you are basically lying to the casino.

This strategy should only be used if you are willing to take these risks. Better solution is to simply shift to a no-KYC site instead.
Yeah its one of the risk because small amounts doesnt mean or automatically means zero chance of winning high multipliers where we do see situations where it do happen and since you do make use of
some fake information then you would really be having some serious problem on here.

So it does depend on your tolerance on how much you can risk on but if you are prepared on using VPN then dont be surprised if they would locked you out once caught.
I told many times about this, never enter fake details when it comes to KYC when you have the intention of continue their services in the future, only do this when you are stuck and wanted to take the funds out and just quit the platform whatever it could be like casino, exchange, etc. If I am not wrong Roobet allows users to play in their site via VPN only for privacy purposes not to encourage any violations in their terms.

I’m sorry to say but this is the dumbest advice ever given on this forum, and if someone actually follows it then I pray for that player too. Lastly Roobet is a friendly casino do not make life difficult for the support staff by doing this, and I strongly condemn such behaviour and encourage all other player’s not to submit any fake details.

I think you misread his point since seems you miss quote or didn't understand what he say since his statement is not to put any fake details which is really advisable since once trouble occur then we will struggle to verify our claims since its hard to prove the ownership if we input a fake details unto their casino. So if anyone afraid about this KYC submission things well maybe they should pass to play to avoid any confusion or worries about their identity submitted.

This will depend on how much risk you can take instead of giving up your information, this will always depend on every gambler but still they have to understand the possible result of this one in the future. If they are willing to do so, then this can be a good option for them though its better to give fake details than to use VPN, as far as i know, its prohibited on Roobet, you have to confirm this before you use VPN.

Your business, your way. I agree that business models should run for the users' sake but we just only expect friendly service. There are so many calculations going on in our heads, most probably the system abuser makes the simple thing complex. Sometime, the only option is to take strict action over the entire community because of a few people's wrong actions. If a casino implements KYC, there are obviously some reasons just to do it. The idea of a cryptocurrency-based casino requesting KYC seems strange at first, but it's now becoming more and more common.
Roobet is a licensed online casino, and as far as I know they have also to comply with the rules and policy of the government they're residing, KYC implementation is included there. KYC on roobet isn't strict by the way, specially to average players.
Especially if the gambler knows the KYC can be asked anytime after registration on Roobet. If you want the fully anonymous casino, better to check alternatives. Btw, not all users are forced to pass KYC, you can still use VPN and fill fake data in case of using Roobet service for fun with a small balance. I don't register on the website before reading the overall feedback on Trustpilot or Reddit, so marketing team should try to remove the bad ones and improve service feedback especially after this KYC drama.

Let's be honest we are still gambling at roobet even though they asked KYC and we are not happy about it neither, there could be some that like it, but there are so many people who did it and still hates the fact that they did it.
Honestly, I stopped gambling on Roobet because of this KYC crap and shifted to other sites where it isn't mandatory for gamblers to provide their KYC information. If you didn't want to provide your KYC, you could have simply shifted to alternate sites.

Perhaps those people are simply opposed to any suspicious activities taking place on the platform, so they support KYC in order to keep the platform running for as long as possible.
They are most probably fans of Roobet who didn't have issues providing their KYC information in order to continue playing there which makes sense.

^^I do not get why KYC is supported by the people, I get casinos why the people? I mean what do you get in return from this? How does it help you out in the long term? Casinos do this because they are both required by law in most cases and that is understandable, but also they want to do it to prevent scammers and hackers to steal money from people, and even in a better situation if you do end up stealing money from other people somewhere else, like let's say in an exchange or defi or whatever then you can't just put your money on roobet and withdraw it because there is KYC and you will be asked to provide your information as a hacker and you can't. However these all benefit the casino, regular people like me who are not hackers or anything should not be forced to give our KYC, I can promise you that even on small amounts roobet asks for KYC, and that just doesn't make sense.
It is their choice; if KYC truly benefits them in other ways, then let them be. KYC isn't really required in gambling platforms. If you don't want KYC, simply transfer from another gambling platform that doesn't require KYC; it's that simple.

Everyone talking about KYC again because the fact is that the procedure is not something that we want but what we got, so that is why there are so many people who are talking about it. Let's be honest we are still gambling at roobet even though they asked KYC and we are not happy about it neither, there could be some that like it, but there are so many people who did it and still hates the fact that they did it. I am one of those people, and this is why KYC talk will resurface time to time, it is not going to end at all and it will continue for a while. I have to say that the greatest thing Roobet can do at this moment is to remove KYC if they can, but if they can't then they need to incentives it a lot better, forcing people to do it is not the way to go, there are many other places just simply promoting it by giving rewards for people who did it, that is a better way.

^^I do not get why KYC is supported by the people, I get casinos why the people? I mean what do you get in return from this? How does it help you out in the long term?

I have also been wondering about this, because in my way of thinking casinos or most casinos have curacao license, so they should just ask curacao people to comply with KYC if they want to use the casino, but why do they ask to everybody? which government has asked or required casinos to ask their customers to comply with KYC? what government keeps inspecting casinos to see if they comply with KYC or not? what government fines casinos if they do not comply with KYC?

And another point I've been wondering about KYC in cryptocurrency-related casinos:

I've read that casinos can ask people to provide proof of the provenance of funds.

how does the person do it? and if the person wins with a signature campaign or hodls for a long time and in the case of hodls for a long time the coin stays in the wallet for a long time and then that person takes the coin and deposits it in the casino, how the hell will he tell the casino where are the funds coming when the casino asks?

I think this question of KYC for casinos related to cryptocurrencies is something very sensitive and that it has to be well managed, I particularly have no problem in complying with KYC, if the site asks for it I do

This has been discussed many times here after Roobet's kyc implementation few months ago. They're not forcing the gambler to comply because it will depend on us and on our decision. If you want to continue to play on their site then do it, but if you have doubts and dont want to disclose your personal information then you're free to do what you want since there are still many casinos out there who are not requiring their players to undergo kyc verification.
@doomloop it's not unreasonable but you don't understand how the rules are, I understand some are against KYC in casinos but this is for the good of fear of being abused with big money so Roobet did this, and honestly I support what Roobet is implementing because I know this has already started early.

Even other casinos didn't apply the same at first but if something violated the TOS then it's AML KYC policy I think roobet users don't mind this.

Who says that casino is forcing anyone to conduct KYC? if you dont want to provide details then never play in casino that asks for this .

You just make it worst in sound when this is clearly stated from the beginning so you must prevent playing or comply on that.

Roobet implementing this from the start now to prevent confusion in the end when players need to withdraw and being asked KYC , so this will let you decide to play or not.

People have to comply with the rules and regulations of the casino if they wish to keep gambling on their favourite casinos. At this time the casino are implementing KYC norms due to AML policy and you have to undergo it if you want to withdraw funds. As discussed many times if people want to gamble they have to do KYC otherwise being anonymous is your choice then search for such casino.Like in case for different levels of verification small gamblers can give their name and phone number and keep playing on their choice of casino but if you're whale gambler then you need to search for options.Otherwise you don't have any option rather than compromising with it.

This discussion was made earlier and continued for many pages and it was clear that there are different levels of KYC that a player has to pass in order to withdraw funds from Roobet as level1,level2,level3 like at first step for small gamblers and highest level of KYC for whales player. So if you want to comply with it do it or else choose platform that don't ask for it.It is simple as it is.

Why are you quoting me and where did you get the impression that I dont want to comply with it? I am well aware of our previous discussion on this matter, but it is obvious that the issue is recurring because some members are still unaware. Consider reading the last few posts before replying to the topic, as some may think that you are just trying to meet your weekly quota.

KYC is really frowned upon but if you dont mind much about sharing your basic information then this wont really be a problem but there are people who doesnt really like so we cant really blame them up
but you arent forced to play and you could always choose other casinos according to your own preference but if you do like the games here on Roobet then its up to your choice if you do comply
or not but if you do ask me then it isnt really that much of an issue and as long theyre legit and reputable then that what matter the most rather playing on a site which doesnt
ask out KYC but arent really that known.

When it comes to huge winnings or massively-large deposits, casinos tend to get wary because who knows where the funds come from or what the user is gonna do with such huge amounts.

But on Roobet, it kinda popped up to everyone regardless if they deposited or not in the past so it surprised many.
