Trying out to compare into those early years of this art competition on which there are still those participants who are really that sitting on the top to be the best artist and there are still to those participants who do keep
on joining the competition despite of having not being chosen but you could see the progress and the improvement of their work or art on which it is really just signifying that they are really that dedicative
on making theirselves more better and now creating some good looking art basing up on the criteria. I do remember i have joined up and submitted an entry
but in the end i havent been chosen and that what makes me that disappointed or frustrated on which i did end up on not to join on future contest and thinking
that it is really that useless to join since there are really that lots of good artist here on this forum.

Other members who have always participated in monthly art contests, especially in the digital category, have improved a LOT! Seriously, they've become more meticulous, adding intricate details to their artworks. It makes me wonder how I can keep up with these people when I get busy with my day job. You see, creating artworks during school hours is much easier than in the office.

The trick is that the quality has gone up for the ones who participate however the quantity dropped when you look at each category, and that means something. If you have less than 10 people applying for one category, your odds goes to %30 to win, to be in the first three, and I believe that is a good chance. Doesn't mean that you are going to win, most people still lose, but at least you would have a bigger chance to win and that matters.

I think the best thing to do in this case would be just applying with whatever, doesn't matter if it's high quality or low quality, if you can participate in ALL of them, then it means that you are going to have a bigger chance to win something than anyone else for sure. Well this is very exciting, I see that many People have a way of Expressing what they feel through Art, and I think that everything they do has a meaning Emphasizing the main act which is an event for TRoobet, I usually admire the things that others can do and in which I do not have any type of talent, for me art is something that Does not Suit me, perhaps in other things , music playing instruments, but art I enjoy painting, all this has its base of being , then in this order of Ideas we as good admirers of art, at least I understand, I am apart from a special profession, also Expert Appraisers , and this art has many diversities, each one expresses a different art, With a different topic of display, the human brain can rethink many things. You don't seem to understand how artists pit their prestige in art contests with various kinds of creativity, awards are a form of respect for their art, who says an artist only shares in contests without caring about awards that shape his reputation for the better.

Maybe for some people dabbling in contest art is a great thing, but for true artists who have popularity it will be a different view, they are not just experimenting like beginners.  IMO

I think if a true artist just wants to share their art, they don't need to do it in a contest.

Being a participants is already a Win for a true artist because they are just sharing their work of art no matte if will be awarded or not.
the award is just a Bonus I believe they are more happy if being recognized about their artworks.
I am looking for more great art presented this October and hope that there will be more than this september .

If I was actually an artist who truly is in love with what I do, I did be very happy doing the arts, regards of whether or not I win the contest, nothing beats love and passion for something in terms of motivation. this is to say that, for someone who is naturally talented in arts and he or she loves it with passion, for such a person, in as much as it is not wrong to aim for the prize, since that is one of the major ways to really gain the confirmation we need to know that our talent is recognized, it is also very important to pay attention to our inner self, pay attention to our talent, as I personally believe that can be our biggest motivation and director, which can direct us to coming up with an amazing idea of what to create that will lead us to winning the prize easily and almost effortlessly.

Anyways, this is just what I think by the way.

 

In my case I already tried Hand drawn, Painting and Craft (But this is my uncle's art). If i'm not mistaken I already won 3 times in Roobet contest and that's for each category. It's been a while since I last win but that doesn't discourage me to try my luck again.

We should be considering it more fun than we can assume and should be a profitable thing if you put some hours into it. I know that making art for free and then hoping that it would earn something with a risk of not getting anything in return of putting that much effort into it makes some artists feel terrible.

However, the return if you win is way more than what it usually worths, so putting that time for either more than what it worths or nothing is a type of gambling you are doing so to speak and should be considered relevant to the business.
