I did PM theymos after earlier PM, but he hasn't responded yet, so I'll try again and then PM Cyrus or the Global moderator to see what happens. Those rules were adopted by the community, so I don't see why they shouldn't be pinned to the Board.
Reminder should be given to them. Pm the three personnels again and also if possible add the creation of more subbords in the local board here. Probably these days dem dey very busy for plenty activities, mostly di maintenance of the website. @wiwo you tok well, and nai make since dem never pin di thread at di top, we go dey make comments so dat di thread go dey ontop. But even as dat many of e no dey gree read this thread. Something dat dem go use dey guide themselves, dem dey dodge am. Dat guy story was a sad one.

You're right but I don't think PM would do a lot of good, thyemos is someone who likes everything to be written in a formal request Format and post on the Meta. I've taken the measure I felt was right now it's time to do the official one + the sub board request.

This thread need to be pin on the local board because of it importance and necessities to both newbie and old members of the local board and bitcointalk community in its entirety
When Igebotz been start this thread, e talk say e go PM the admin to see if them go fit pin this thread, i never read any feedback about that, or if e get anywhere wey e don talk about the feedback, make person point me to the post. But if nothing like that don dey and if Igebotz dey see this post, i will like to ask if he sent the PM and wetin the admin talk.

This thread need to be pin on the local board because of it importance and necessities to both newbie and old members of the local board and bitcointalk community in its entirety,  recent happenings have made me search for this thread as it contains rules and guideline for members here,  to avoid any penalties in the local board and the entire bitcointalk community.

It was a sad news to see one of our own local board member getting banned recently and the offence was plagiarism,  which is something that a senior members suppose know say bitcointalk no dey joke with,  so it is good to have this kind of thread always at the top of the page for visibilities

E dey very good as di rules of dis our local board de as a thread, so e go be a guide to members, especially newbies, in order not to violate am. I also support sey dis our guideline thread suppose dey pinned as number one, wen person open our naija board, to help avoid making mistakes wey di forum no need. I like di way wey bitcointalk in general take de organized, e show say na intelligent minds de run am.
As you can see from de topic date no be today ooo, na right from de first week wey we get our local board, na im @Igeboltz came up with dis wonderful guidelines. Na because we no get local moderator to help us pin am for our local board so that beginners go easily see am and read am. As we dey create new topics e dey carry am go back of de created topics na im make @Mate2237 comment on de topic so that e go fit bring am back to the front page of the local board. Also, I go like make we dey comment periodically until we get a local mod or dem finally pin am for us.

Although I no too understand di unofficial general  guideline, because to my own understanding, di guideline suppose de official. Abi na until di bitcointalk moderators, approve am?
Lol... You've good eyes. I know he's very correct because forum's rules page has the same thing. Check it out and you would see it is titled "Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines and FAQ." I don't know what the "unofficial" is doing there and I wish someone could enlighten us.

I am bringing this thread to the first page for everyone to see and read. And to the newbies wey supposed read before posting. Everyone should read this again mostly the newbie wey never see am before should read this. These are there Nigerian local board rules and regulations and when we obey these guidelines things go better for us in our corner here. And don't forget to tell others to read the thread time to time. Bump.

Na better tin you just do @ "Mate2237", because I no go lie, this is actually my first time seeing this very thread oh, and I'm still very surprise how come this thread is over 6months old and yet I never saw it for once, because true true this na one thread wey suppose dey pinned on the front page of this our local board, as first thing every newbie is expected to read before making a post, so as to know what is expected of them & have to behave on this our local board. So once again, thank you @ Mate2237 for bringing this to our notice.

My advice to my fellow new members is plagiarism once you're catch that account don go and e no go make sense say u suffer build accounts and rank up they con ban you, that time you'll be seeing the forum fort that they wicked or something like that..
Make we they sure of wetin we go post

Then lastly, before you or we go consider any new pesin as a valid member we go see him stability and contribution towards our 9ja board and to the forum at large this one go make us very serious.
This is what I have been doing so far only those with 5 posts or more are considered to be a full member of the Naija local board, those who only post once and disappeared we nodey too reason dem for the matter. If you check my monthly overview thread you go notice say no be everybody der. And there are still few members yet to added too...

Well thank you very much, you are really trying to carry up this board along.
One more thing is it possible for a member to posting before maybe due to much engagement, like office work, personal business and have no much time to posting here could such person still count as a valid member?
Of which I knew during the monthly stat such user may not be included as active member but I want to know of the valid member.

E make sense as rules they for the forum and you still put pidgin make we understand more about each other post and other things
Normally as rules dey the forum nai make sense pass because no organization go fit function fine if dem no put some rules and guildlines wey people go abide by for that organization.E really totori me for body as we Don get our own board like this were we go fit create quality threads to talk about somethings them wey been dey worry us for mind for our own general language wey be pidgin.

So make we put am for rules as well so that if dem report anybody wey be 9ja we go straight request for parma ban to reduce bad names so that we too go dey protected as I believe say many of us bele dey here and e no good make one common person come remove all our hands for table wey we dey carry chop.
We no go fit add that one to the unofficial guidelines/rules for here, no be naija users go tell moderators wetin them go do for forum, them they handle issues on a case by case basis, thus na moderators they decide wetin them go do about any user wey break rules (whether na Nigerian or not).
Coyster is right. If anyone is reported, we cannot agitate for a permanent ban; that is up to the admin to decide. We are human, and no matter how long you have been here, sometimes unexpected mistakes lead to a permanent or temporary ban. In such cases, we also support the user against being permanently banned, but in some cases where the user consistently breaks rules, he will be banned and no one will say anything.

For the past year, the case of plagrism in the Nigerian community has decreased significantly due to constant awareness
