It wouldn't be surprising to know BTC is lowering strength of russian currency..

Russian govt is shit..

Russia Rubble is going to strengthen in the coming years. The economic is less of a mess after Putin took over.

The nationalization of the oil industry help the country rather weaken it as the wealth is being used to help the population as oppose to exploitation of the west.

China used to want ban bitcoin extrange, but acctully it still works very well here, here we could sell and buy bitcoin in minute, so i think Chinese goverment is more friend to bitcoin compare to other countries at least now.

it just said russia only takes up like 7% of american exports so it isnt hurting us one bit.
Yeah, and so it isn't hurting them one bit either.

The sanctions America placed against Russia hurt American businesses because they can't buy Russian goods anymore. Thus, American sanctions are good for the government and bad for the people.

So, regardless how you look at it, America is the one getting hurt, no Russia.

I just seen on the news that russia is gunna boycott a bunch f food and products from the usa and other countrys in  nato ...wow their only hurting their own people , russia needs to use their brain before their mighty desperate people rise up agianst them
Hahaha, what are you thinking?

They're hurting everyone else! Europe will be getting a trade surplus.

The sanctions aren't hurting the Russians as much as the American sanctions are hurting Americans.

You need to use your brain, this is a obvious win for Russia and loss for America/Canada/Other-NATO-countries.

lol russia is always doing the dumbest shit towards their people ... its only going to cause bitcoin to become an  underground source of funding and then what? its probly putin doing it so he can control more of the drug trade Smiley

They are much like China in that there is always some hidden motive. I have long ago given up any inclination to try to figure either country out.

The Russian market wasn't exactly robust before this. A second world country that happens to have a lot of vintage military hardware doesn't mean a lot to bit coin.

Two large market, China and Russia, are gone. US market is going to regulate bitcoin to limited usage.

Without wider market, price will stagnant or fall.

This is very good for bitcion.  The world is very mad at Russia these days.  Now the west will let bitcoin become another item of world dominance with Russia on the "other" side.  Europe and the US are going to let bitcoin flourish.  In about 5 years, Russia is going to be looking very stupid indeed.

Did Russia ever come back and publicly endorse BTC the first time, or was it just speculation that they were loosening their restrictions?

The BRICs are either completely moronic or super brilliant.  2016 will be the true tell when they open their bank.  This is either brilliant FUD spreading to buy or moronic people shooting themselves in the face.
