I can't see Russia allowing bitcoin, not yet whilst it's still in its infancy. Russia is kind of corrupt & they like to have near full control over the monetary systems in their country. No way will they allow bitcoin in my opinion as they can't control it & the people using it. People have too much freedom using bitcoin which equals a big red flag for Putin & those who control the finance systems in Russia.

The Russian Central Bank may soon allow P2P transactions in Bitcoin, as well as other operations with cryptocurrencies.

According to a source close to the Central Bank, it is "very likely" that the regulator may in fact be a proponent
of cryptocurrency as "the attitude of the Central Bank towards Bitcoin has shifted in the past year."
