Banning some things and allowing others is what regulation is about. Yet these kinds of news about allowing certain coins and banning others or allowing trading but banning mining are more of a FUD, than anything real. Till this day, there are no straighforward crypto regulations is Russia, so people can mine and trade without being prosecuted. Some project laws are starting to appear, but banks and Ministry of Finances disagree on some matters radically, so we'll probably see no significant changes in the following years.

The article starting with no outside help. The standard daily paper canard. Some time or another a few choices will be made, yet right now it is the discussion for no unique reasons. But I feel it might help them with so many wrong influencers in this market.

As of now, this news isn't affirmed and I don't believe that may occur actually in light of the fact that we as a whole realize that digital money is essentially gone through a decentralized framework. Presently if any nation needs to make some move in regards to its task there can be a decent side and an awful sign for the people groups of that nation.

Well, currently this news is not confirmed and I do not think that might take place in reality because we all know that crypto currency is basically run through a decentralized system. Now if any country wants to take some action regarding its operation there can be a good side as well as a bad sign for the peoples of that country.

The crypto space being unregulated has made a lot of problem for the government and security forces. It has become a problem to identify the criminals, who are running away with people's money from the crypto space. Having no regulation at all will only encourage the incidents to occur. Slowly, Russia can water down their regulations though.

HODLing is an art, not just a word...
just another click bait article written by some new website calling itself "news site". there is not much to it, apart from some text for them to put up and then advertise on bitcointalk to get readers and earn money from the traffic.

Russia like any other country has laws, these laws prevent criminal activities whether you use fiat, bitcoin, chickens, or anything else as your medium of exchange. they aren't criminalizing anything and the article has no proof of the things it says.

It is true that Russia is allowing only few currencies to go through their system whereas all the other cryptos are getting blocked. But, a small step is far better than adopting it all at once. So, I still have hope that eventually in the future the government wil allow other cryptos too once they are proved to safe.

Russia have still kept open source cryptos legal and they are trying to implement the rules in case of criminal activities which are done through cryptos. So, I honestly see no harm in that, rather it is best for us if criminal activities are removed soon from this crypto space because in the long run this is going to tarnish the reputation of the community.

Don't take seriously any news coming from Russia specially crypto. And what do you expect from their government? Of course, they will all penalized crimes including those committed using crypto, so I wouldn't be surprised.

And to add to that, they always contradict themselves, that's why I don't see them being friendly to crypto, the best case than we can expect is that they will always be in the gray zone, and the worst? banning crypto in any form.

According to my observations, on articles on the Internet I draw a conclusion and I can say differently: Russia is not set up aggressively with respect to cryptography. There are prerequisites for the fact that Russia will soon introduce a law permitting the use of the platforms of the crypto industry.

Article from scratch. The usual newspaper canard. Some day some decisions will be made, but currently it is talk for no special reasons.
