@babaG

I think that today the most profitable are the RX 470, what makes me reflect are the 4GB x 8 GB, if I opt for the 8 GB models, in the end I will have 1 VGA less because the difference between them comes around U $$ 80 to 100, which I could buy an Rx 470 more.

Does memory make a difference in mining today?
Previously we had the problem of the DAG file but this was healed with Claymore, however I feel that the R9 280x which I have 3GB, still suffer from this problem.

The questions are, would it be worth buying a used GTX 970 (4GB) with price equal to Rx 470 (4GB)?

Folks,

I would like to be direct and fast, what is the most profitable model for 1 or 2 years from now?
My budget is U $ 1250, and can vary 10% more or less.

COST 4 me.
RX 470 - U$$ 246,00
RX 480 - U$$ 291,56
GTX 1060 - U$$ 262
GTX 1070 - U$$ 485

Not accounted for freight expenses

Second,

Whats is best Warranty and Hashrate

XFX / SAPPHIRE / ASUS(STRIX) / GIGABYTE (i have and not like but..) / PowerColor (i have and like, many information in gpu-z to check status)

Please, help me.

TNX

I have MSI 470 & 480 and sapphire 470, all 8GB. The MSI stays 7-8 deg C cooler. The sapphire 470 speed on ETH is max5% lower than MSI 480 and 5-10% higher than MSI 470. Both brands are good, but based on my experience of 3-4 months with these cards, I would go with sapphire RX470 8GB for my next rig. The price in your area might be important in your decision as well.

You told you are mining since 2 Years and ask about what is best hashrate?
Doesnt take more than 10 secs to check at whattomine.

Wotan

The same model may have different Hashrates due to memories, ASIC quality construction, ventilation quality and hardware architecture, and we know that Whattomine does not always match reality.
That's why I requested information from those who have RIG and not people who only COMMENT what they think, but those who already have experience in what they are commenting.

I suggest that, if you can not add to the topic, there is no need to continue commenting.

Tell me when you found somebody who tells you what the best coin is in ! 1 - 2 ! Years.

Mining is risky. If you dont take the risk, better leave.
If you need help and didnt do your homework, better leave.

Wotan
I trade in forex and altcoins for some considerable time, mining for the last 2 years, I agree that it is not certainties, but I believe that all opinions are valid so that I can make an investment decision. There are some altcoins that keep their value and profitability for sure otherwise we would not have people mining and making a living out of it.

I believe that your arrogance and ignorance in determining that I have not done the homework, is simply a despicable opinion, if there is nothing to contribute, do not pollute the topic!

I am observing that the Rx 470 is playing very close, but what complicates me is that the memory of 4GB is already in the limit, and at 8GB the price extrapolates too much, and the supplier does not have at the moment, I am considering the GTX 970 also, But I have no basis with her.

Can Nvidia be a good choice for mining, or just AMD?
I have 2 Rigs with AMD and I have not had a headache until today.
nVidia is well doing now on some algos like equihash(zcash) , and there is also Lbry and also Lyra , you can go with one card to try before building the complete machine

I am with the platform ready with the Riser, sources mobo .. everything ready, I really need only the VGA, I am searching all boards but I have not yet defined it yet.
