It seems like rx560 is quite good in performing cryptonote algorithm compared to other gpu with same pricing range.

I think the RX 550 is also quite good in performing XMR ... more than 400 h/s with less power consumption compared to the RX 560.

Are you sure you can get more that 400h/s on 550? It seems it's also difficult for 560 to hit 400h/s. For a 550 it looks like a miracle.

Hey even i am using this RX 560 in my system, and other components are also using higher versions.

my question is how many coins I can mine with this GPU (only 1 pc)

and which coin is worth to mine with this GPU

can anyone help me?

It works since 4 weeks without problems at my home.  Grin
The RX550 is the perfect gpu for mining xmr, because cryptonight charges the memory and 8 gpu cores are enough for the rest. The bottleneck is the memory.

Hi guys, since there are not so many info about this card all around I also landed here in this thread.
I'm looking for the best CryptoNight card for my next mining rigs.
Considering the hashrate compared to the power consumption and not last the price of the card it seems the RX 560 is one of the best candidate.
But reading all the posts here it seems that only the cards with Micro memory are hitting and passing the 400h/s on CriptoNight.
So having to buy about a dozen of cards I don't want to risk to be wrong.
My question is: is there a way to know which cards will come with Micro memory?
Is the model enough? I could read here that just a model of Gigabyte (moreover just the r1.0) comes with Micro mem.
Can anybody drive me in the right direction to get the right cards?

I read above someone is also getting wonderful results with 550 on XMR. But reading a bit around it seems that 550 (on stock) is getting around 250h/s. So 400h/s looks a bit far target to reach. Can anybody clarify me?

Thank you very much in advance for your precious attention.

I have 4 x RX550 with 4 GB runing @415h/s and 1 x RX550 2GB running @405h/s.
0 Errors in HWInfo64 running since 4 Weeks.
Very low Power consumption, better than RX560 !

I modded the memory straps in the VBIOS, like all other cards.

cryptonight with sgminer: 500h/s (so preferable instead claymore cryptonight)
Which clock/volt settings did you use to get that hashrate, Branko?

It was long ago, and I used Nicehash benchmark, never used standalone version
of that miner, so take it with a grain of salt
Bummer ... I'm not getting over 400h/s (around 300 with standard clock rates) with sg-miner and xmr-strak on my ASUS RX560 Strix 4GB OC (Hynix) ... the various Claymores variants (except the ETH version) don't want to run on my Win10 machine, so I can't cross check.

I'm getting 14.5 MH/s for ETH with 1100/2050, so the straps I use seem not perfect but OK.

Hello!
Can I use this Bios mod for XFX RX560 4gb single fan model as well? It also has Micron memory and I'm getting only 320H/s on cryptonight stock.

You should get at least 450

Thanks for this thread!

I might pick up 3-4 of these soon if I can get them cheap enough  Grin

Added RX560 calculator for all popular algos in the first post, so you can
easily choose coin to mine with your lovely RX560s for that day Smiley

Edit: I must add I'm surprised how much you can mine with one
RX560 these days

It seems Electroneum is more profitable for this card if it's 450 h/sec .. more profitable than monacoin

Indeed...crazy how fast things change these days...electroneum went up and monacoin went down in a day, and here we go...too bad ETN
is listed on crappy exchanges only Sad

After some longer run of mkxminer, RX560 performance settled at 16.1 at default core speed...easily
most profitable coin seems to be monacoin (at least at the moment)

is it true? as i know, rx 550 only do 200 h/s

easly over 400 h/s

I have a mining rig with 6x RX550 and the hole system runs with 1875 h/s and needs 340W (hole system)
It´s realy mysterious, but it´s true. The cryptonight algorithm hashrate is the same on R7 370(16 Core, 256bit),RX 550(8 Core, 128bit) and RX 560(16 Core, 128Bit). Huh

What´s the model and memory type ... maybe i can upload a rom  Smiley .
