I will lock this topic now that my questions have been very well answered, thanks to all for your input, except seriouscoin who judged me before asking questions.

Seriouscoin : I sent you a pv to try to understand each other and because I think answering to your anoying post is irrelevant in this thread, so we can discuss about your concerns, and have a chance to explain to you the story behind this bad rating and i'll be happy to answer to anyone else if they have concern about this rating...in my opinion this was a misunderstanding that turned into more misunderstandings and now i'm unable to post anything without someone like seriouscoin tell me to go to hell, real smart comment by the way, wow !

thanks to the others who answered like normal human beigns

you really think you have the right to tell anyone to go to hell without trying to explain with the other person first ?? common ... just don't post a reply if it's to say something useless

I understand and thank you for giving an answer. That said, are we talking about all types of mining or you're specific about bitcoin mining ?

Mine at Jonny's Pool
Grin thank you for all the precious information and learning that some are whoring for btc lol BTCBTCBTC

why are every miner I ask questions asking me if I want to make profit or just have fun and learn , of course I want to make profit I started this because I want to know what is the best you suggest for mining beginners and today I will add another question : where do you suggest to buy and what is the best mining hardware to buy today(top rated best quality as of today) ?

and where is the best place to mine and make good profits at lower fee's ?

thanks again for the replies...
People are asking you these questions because they want to know your position.  Most everyone here will tell you that unless you're a hardware manufacturer with access to large quantities of very cheap power, you won't turn a profit by mining.

When you started this thread, you asked where to purchase good, quality hardware.  I suggested you take a look at some of the manufacturer's guides to help you make an informed decision.  Basically my suggestion was to educate yourself.  Spend some time reading the forums and you'll learn the answers to your questions as you're certainly not the first person to ask these things.

because mining is no longer profitable for small/home miners. Unless you pay <.4/KwH, you're not gonna have a chance at ROI.

If you want an Antminer, why don't you just buy it direct from Bitmain?

https://www.bitmaintech.com/productDetail.htm?pid=00020140917060843699l3bEXYxL06C0

If you can't wait for Batch 10 to launch, I'm sure these resellers should have some stock left:

... then buy whatever overpriced hardware roadstress is pimping.

Otherwise buy an Asicminer Prisma for less than half the price of anything SPtech is selling.

Disclaimer: I'm an AM shareholder therefore will profit a fraction of a penny for each sale.

I am not pimping anything. OP asked where to buy mining hardware and I have replied to him. No pimping.

But your disclaimer is appreciated. A step forward!

Safe, reliable mining hardware for beginner : where to buy online ?

is it possible to pay with bitcoins and what company selling them do you suggest is safe for shipping and good prices ?

I alrady have spotted 2 place I could buy, but looking for ideas, tips or deals about the best place you think there is to buy first hardware...thanks!

Check my sig!

Yes, if your goal has nothing to do with making a profit and only has to do with giving roadstress/SPtech your hard earned money then buy whatever overpriced hardware roadstress is pimping.

Otherwise buy an Asicminer Prisma for less than half the price of anything SPtech is selling.

Disclaimer: I'm an AM shareholder therefore will profit a fraction of a penny for each sale.

If you want to just try mining, go for the ant S3, if you want to make more than you put in, buy BTC.

Glow Stick Dance!
thanks very much for your answers.

what's your opinion on Antminer S3 ? I am ordering one and I know it's not the latest but do you think it has a chance to get through next difficulty ? Smiley

what is the order of antminers, is S1 the oldest and S3 the newest ? which one is the most recent antminer and do you know the name of the next generation to come ?

I will order an S3 but my next one I will probably want more as I am starting to really like this.

Should I get one for scrypt because it seems more profitable, what's your opinion about this type of mining ?

Thank you very much again for answers

The next difficulty adjustment is in 5 or 6 days. You won't even get your S3 before them, lol.

'The right to privacy matters'
is some mining hardware dangerous?
It can be.  There were reports of some hardware bursting into flames... shorting out PSUs... overheating and melting components... all kinds of things can go wrong if you don't put together a solid rig and test it prior to shipping to customers.

@airwalk666 I suggest you take a look at dogie's hardware manufacturer's guide here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/guide-dogies-comprehensive-manufacturer-trustworthiness-guide-1st-feb-2016-456691 to get started.

dogie has good info.

if you want to spend btc the asic miner tube at this spot on this site may be the best for you

if you can find an s-3 from antminer it is pretty good.
