I think it is safe now to transact in bitcoins as it was before. the only problem earlier is the worries about what coin will the existing wallets will support I think.

Hi everyone,
I was wondering whether can be safe to make transactions now without they get lost in the network ending in loosing bitcoin.
I've tried to make a transaction two hours ago for 0.007 btc (o.001 btc fee) and seems to work properly as I already received 6 confirmations.
Before proceeding with a larger sum I wanted to know who experienced delays or whathever else...
Thanks

The split took place on August 1, then a few hours later everything seemed to be stable and everyone was able to use Bitcoin as normally as before August 1. We could send, Bitcoin trading is stable without any problems. I also made a transaction and it was successful. However, if you want absolute safety when transferring large sums of money you can wait a few days to avoid the risk of loss. One more thing, I think you paid too much, you traded 0.007 BUT but the fee is 0.001, if it is due to the service charge of the wallet then I think you should change the new wallet, otherwise it will be very expensive

It was probably safe on August 1st. But yes it is completely safe to do so now. The worst thing you were going to run into before was probably a delay, most of the exchanges already announced that there was going to be increased 326 confirmations during that transition. Some of them come back down and some of them have it but yes it is completely safe to do transactions and you have nothing to worry about
Yes, only for precautionary measurements, it was suggested not to transact on Aug 1. Yet, it would have been safer as there was no unexpected happened due to BIP141 implementation. I believe it would be always safer NOT to transact in the events of any upgradation. We must treat it like how exchanges/gambling sites go for maintenance. It would be a mandatory thing for any service hence for bitcoin systems too.

Yes it is safe now to make transactions because the fork now is done and all the things are now back to normal aside from other exchanges who are still on the process of fixing their disabled bitcoin wallets but if you are making transactions from your wallet alone then it is safe to execute transactions.

It seems, that transactions run fast and secure. But be aware of exchangers and services, who temporary disabled bitcoin withdrawels and deposits.
Any instability has passed, Bitcoin has stabilized again. Users can continue to invest in Bitcoin.Every transaction is safe.

Yes it is fine. I have made a few transactions to get some bcc and I have also made more transactions after that between another wallet I own because I am moving everything over. I have topped up an account at g2a and it worked fine so all is well.

I think that every thing is fine now.Hard fork has occurred and BCC which was pumped has started to fall in its value. Now,its safe for us to make transactions.Even most exchanges which suspended deposits and withdrawal have started to function as normal again.

Yes, transactions are now safe and you can use your bitcoin as you were using it before.  I really don't see a problem now as I did some transactions earlier and i received confirmations with no problem. If there will be a problem surely OP's will update us on it and you can also always check in this forum. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/aug-1-summary-2059111 You can check here a read some info.

I had no problems with the payments a single day. I have received bitcoins and 31.07 and 01.08. I haven't seen any difference. There might be a problem with the new Alt coins of bitcoin, but they did not interest me and I'm not interested in their fate.
You could have made easy money if you were holding the coins in your wallet, you must of neglect anything, because you never know when the price will shoot exponentially in the future,so even if you are not interested in it,make sure you keep the coins and forget about it and safe guard your private keys, who knows what the price will be a couple of years from now. I think so. Everything is in place already. BTC withdrawals, deposits, and transfers are already allowed. The green light is already on for those transactions.
Yup exactly because it was confirmed I would say that if those people are still afraid they should go to the forum top there are written in the green forum that all clear. So, this is great signal to us now we can buy bitcoin. First of all we are finally crossed 1 August and we are in the market once again. So feel sorry for haters that they will miss the rumors of 1 August.

Yes, transactions are already going well and without any delays. Now let's see how the altcoyins behave, and especially the new altcoyin BCC.

According to our latest news about bitcoin found in above, we can now use bitcoin so it means that the update is successful and there is no split happening. So I was very happy to hear that we can now do transactions on bitcoin by withdrawing or transfering funds to others.

Theymos, already said that we can use bitcoin now as we were previously. Also, I already seen some campaigns who successfully transacted their payments with their posters.

I'm a bit concerned about your transaction fee because it seems high for a 0.007 btc. Is it normal or you just mistype 0.07 to 0.007?

I believe it's protected to make an exchange now since I sent last a couple of hours back Bitcoin into my companion and it's affirmed inside one hour as it was. Many individuals starting at now sent and got Bitcoin everything will back once more.

Yes I can say it is already safe to make transactions now, I tried withdrawing my bitcoin just a while ago and I received it almost instantly to my wallet. So I think it is already good to make transactions and back to trading once again.

Everything is okay now, you may read it from the top on "forum news bar" saying:

ALL CLEAR: You can now use Bitcoin as you were previously. For more info, including how to claim your BCH (optional), see here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/aug-1-summary-2059111
