Paper Wallet. A paper wallet is also a relatively safe way of storing Bitcoin, although it requires a bit more advanced understanding of how digital currencies work. Generate a paper wallet online using any number of dedicated websites, or generate the wallet offline for even greater security.

I used to use offline paper wallets but I’d rather use a hardware device to hold my Bitcoin. I was thinking about holding some on Blockchain wallet as well.Additionally,
Store your paper backup in a different physical location than the offline computer. Make sure it's safe.

if you are asking about bitcoin only, i would recommend you to think about permanent connection to the internet, or it's better to say it's better to limit the connection to the net and to reconsider the storage of your private key. Cause the key is the most important thing in keeping your bitcoin money safe. i'd say that writing the key on a sheet of paper is the most safest way of having it.

the safest way to keep bitcoin i think is use the hardware wallet and keep it in the safe place, or you can build a pc with use linux operating system ( virus free, and high security) to save your wallet in there, dont use the smartphone and your daily pc or notebook because its too risky if your pc attacked by virus and broke

Buy ledgers, it is proven to be very secure when it comes to storing not just your bitcoin but you can also safely store your altcoins and even tokens offline. I think it is the best way to store and hold your cryptocurrencies since it provides added security and it removes it from possible threats online.

To all those who swear by paper/hardware wallet, how do you then store and secure it?
It seems to me you are solving the risk of hacking but introducing the risk of losing it/being stolen in an old fashioned way.

LOL, if you want to use paper wallet, I want to ask you a question. Why do many countries use credit card to replace paper money? Because bring paper money or store it is more difficult and not security as credit card. So, instead of use paper wallet, use offline wallet and store it on which device can store data is enough.

looking how to ask a question, if you just want to keep bitcoin as a coin, then keep it on your wallet and do not give anyone your passwords, you can not crack the wallet. And if you want to multiply your bitcoins, then you will not be able to save them, because there is always a risk to lose, and whatever that happens, just put the coins in your wallet as an untapped stock and the time will come when you need them.

More secure than a desktop wallet is a hardware wallet. An added benefit of a hardware wallet is the complete anonymity with which you can transact. Hardware wallets are resilient to malware

Using a hardware wallet is indeed the best, but all along I've never had it, I anticipate it just keeps being careful in storing bitcoins in online wallet by keeping private keys safely, and on an exchange by continuing to see the latest updates so we do not lose all the coins we keep on the exchange.

Using a hardware wallet has always been the best way to secure your bitcoins and storing it offline to prevent hikes but if you store online, protect your private keys.

Generate a paper wallet online using any number of dedicated websites, or generate the wallet offline for even greater security. Paper wallets are stored easily because they don't take up a great deal of space, and they also offer true anonymity: they are simply a Bitcoin seed written in some way on a piece of paper.

If you are using wallet with security, you must make a strong password and you must change after few period process. you are also alert about the virus because it harm your PC and broke your safety.  You may also uses a two factor authentication that give you a good security.
