I think you have to understand risks in crypto market before going take a discussion to invest funds in bitcoin or crypto currencies, because you are new to crypto and planning invest in bitcoin for that you want to sell your bike to get investment amount so it is your hard earned money so think and do well. I wish you get good returns for your investment.
You should be a risk taker if you are planning to invest, and you’re right its the hard earned money and it should be spend wisely. Bitcoin can’t promise a better life but if you do believe then for me its worth it to sold your bike especially if you are using it everyday. You can have more bikes if the bull run comes, so do it now mate and learn to hold.

Selling your bike and buying bitcoin can't really guarantee you making any profit over a short period of time, but there are chances of getting some profit in a few years, of course, I'm predicting you're not restricting your life by selling your bike just to buy bitcoin. I think your bike is a necessity for your life because you need it for your daily life. It's hard to throw away some need to just invest in risky stuff even though there's a high likelihood of earning profit later.

You know your financial situation better than we will ever do, if you were not using that bike then selling it for a good price while you can it is a good decision and since the market of cryptocurrencies has crashed about 50% when we look at the highest price that it reached during this year then you seem to have made a good business.Especially I want holding long time with more patient because i want makes more profitable.

The only thing I don't know is if you are going to have what it takes to hold your coins for long enough to make profits, the volatility in this market is high and the price can move in ways that most people could only dream in other markets and this makes difficult for holders to keep their coins since most of the time they sell too soon when the price is going up or they sell when they are incapable to take any more losses when the market goes down.

I guess it's all right to sell our properties to invest in bitcoin. The main thing we did study and watch the behaviour of the Bitcoin market seriously before investing Bitcoin. And if you think that bitcoin is going to pump up, the decision to sell bitcoin bicycles is the right one. The error that often happens is that people are only interested in that bitcoin without their analysis and selling their valuables to bitcoin, but it turns out that bitcoin dumps lose a lot.

When I am seeing the year 2017, I am really amazed and feeling happy, because that year really means a lot for all of us as there's a lot of lives who had change for good because of the bull run, there's a lot of people that becomes interested in crypto. I think you have make a great decision when lots of people give up on bitcoin. I can not tell exactly bitcoin can grow in 2020 and you will have good profit, but i see lots of pro traders showing that the market might have a new bull run next year. Wish your decision will pay off.
Your main question over here was "was your decision right or wrong" to sell your belongings to buy bitcoins. Well does it really matter now? Like you have already sold your old bike for bitcoin. This mean you have already taken a decision. Now, asking your self if it was right or wrong does not matter anymore as you can undo what you just did. All you can do is just buy another bike for yourself but then again, why would you be spending more money to get what you already sold? Don't regret what you did.
Did he already sold his bike? I think this is the first time he will decide on how this will going if positive or negative implication. Why not think about the market and consider the market price of bitcoin? You are still inside of the investment platforms rules, so if you ever decide to sell your bike, why not to choose the right time when to sell it? What I could advise is for you to base the selling price of it in fiats, then let the bitcoin market price decline a bit when you think it is already enough for investment then that's the time you should sell your bike.
It depends on how you are going to use that BTC. You can lose all your investment if you invest it in any shit coin. I can suggest you that invest 50% of your total BTC any good project and trade with the other 50%. Trading is very profitable and it can double your money in a very short time if you can find a way to trade it correctly.
in my opinion, that is the right decision, if you are able to be patient longer, then it will be more profitable, I think it's easy, if you are willing to sell old bikes because you have such intentions, I'm sure you will be able to be patient ..! !

The outcome of what you did is good since you are a big amount of profit by just selling your bike and investing it onto bitcoin. Just do not forget the buy low and sell high principle. If you sell your bike to a particular value and invest it on bitcoin, you should sell your btc much more higher than you have sold your bike for you to be able to earn profit.
