Samsung supports Ethereum as they partnered with Enjin wallet and they are supporting ETH platform. They squeezed almost all the ERC-20 tokens on their mobile wallet and more coins will be supported in future updates. I think this is for the  start and BTC will be included as well. ( just my opinion )

It seems that I have to prove myself by buying Samsung S10 later so that I can provide further comment regarding this blockchain wallet developed by Samsung. If this news is true, then maybe the people who have said that Ethereum will defeat Bitcoin might be getting ready for various things because news like this can give a boost to crypto market conditions.

I don't understand why some are making Samsung S10 supporting Ethereum and not Bitcoin an issue. It's their phone, they can decide which one to support and no to. Just relax, the next thing you know, they'll be supporting Bitcoin too,

I think it's because of partnership. Who do you think holds bitcoin? Of course, Satoshi Nakamoto. But the team behind bitcoin is unknown. Although there is a great crypto that has a great name on it with big team behind it. And it is Ethereum. But it's a nice move though, but they should also support bitcoin not only just ETH. They should trust in the best cryptocurrency also.

I think they added support for Ethereum wallet for the cost and popularity of the coin. Bitcoin is good, but most people use Ethereum more than Bitcoin. But it remains to hope that the support of Bitcoin will also be with Samsung. Like many other necessary altcoins.

Well, it’s not a big deal to me because most projects are built on ECR 20 token but one good thing about BTC and why it doesn’t have any effect on BTC is because one way or the other, many people will always tend to change their FIAT currency to bitcoin first before considering  exchanging it to other coins.

Hence, this step taken by Samsung will still have its own positive effect on the value of bitcoin but will be more feasible on ethereum.

Most likely, this news will have a positive impact on the infrastructure of not only Samsung but also Ethereum. This example clearly shows us how the blockchain gradually integrates into the ordinary things of people.

Ethereum has so many token inside, maybe that is part of marketing to increase product selling. With many people using token built on ethereum protocol, they might think that people will buy their phones. Please correct me if i'm wrong.
I do not think that it is marketing so that the cellphone is in demand, because Samsung already have a big fans
If that is their marketing technique why not add a bitcoin wallet too? because it is clear that there are more bitcoin enthusiasts than ETH
They might have some sort of partnership with ethereum and that is why the pick based on my own opinion, but whatever their action is still does not affect BTC in anyway, I just cunt it as ethereum gaining one more strong communities which BTC too has other strong communities engaging in BTC on a daily basis, and looking at the Samsung blockchain wallet which is on Samsung  S10 ALONE, we need to consider the population of the S10 community and if the holders of the S10 will have any use for the wallet since many of them are already on BTC system.

I don't think this is true but it doesn't change a single thing because it doesn't stop people from going to the mobile store to download a bitcoin wallet on their mobile phone, afterall not everyone will make purchase of the samsung galaxy s10 because not everyone can afford it.

The only reason I am happy of their move is because it creates more awareness for crypto as a whole and not just ethereum or bitcoin, it will give investors more confidence to buy any crypto of their choice without fear. It's a good move by samsung.

There are plenty of tokens based on ETH technology and maybe that's why they consideration to supports ETH than bitcoin because people can save their various tokens into one wallet but possible too they will see how far this project success because if the demand less maybe this is could be their last project related to crypto but if this is success i strongly believe soon or late Samsung will considering to supports bitcoin so this is just only a matter of time
im with you, they are thinking about that and the tokenization could be the main reason why samsung created a wallet to store ethereum and its assets. There was a chance for bitcoin to be added in the future.

I have no doubt that this is another advertisement. Because if the company would like to please the consumer, then it would make possible all currencies at once. But, as you can see, the company decided to please only the team of the ethereum.

Samsung users have expanded and it provides convenience in marketing, if Eth can provide many benefits then this is not a bad thing.
The Eth community has the opportunity to be able to use Samsung properly.

So what if they haven't included bitcoin wallet? everyone is free to download bitcoin wallets that they wish. But what Samsung did was good, they were now more open to crypto's which can increase the exposure of crypto's not just for ethereum wallet .
Nothing big deal here I guess, because its easy to use ETH and maybe this is the reason why they choose ETH instead of bitcoin. Well, whatever coin they will use this is still a great development by samsung and yes it will still affect the price of every coin.
I don't know the real score why they preferred an ETH wallet instead of a bitcoin wallet. But there's no problem by having that because we're all free to download reliable bitcoin wallets that we can use. I don't find this something as favorable or what, as long as it is crypto related and can cause mass adoption I'm grateful with that.

This is fantastic news for cryptocurrency adoption and especially good for Ethereum in terms of increasing brand awareness, expanding its user base and developing more use cases for tokenized assets, but it's a surprising move that Bitcoin wasn't added and hopefully it will be supported in the future along with other major assets to make mobile portfolio's more secure
For sure it will, and I agree with you in terms of people awareness about crypto especially with ETH which will be first adopted by samsung s10,
afterwards we will see more of them, just a quick start and everything will go smoothly, a preparations for more adoptions to happen in the near
future, we just need to wait and see.

I don't have any idea about why s10 does support enj coin, it seems like it is something espacial that sumsung s10 has listed it to it's wallet, may be in new phones we see more coins and more wallets, and I'm happy that it supports btc, it's respectful.

Bisq is a Bitcoin Fiat Dex. Use responsibly
I wonder how they plan to do this. Is it going to be decentralized, and censorship resistance or they plan to centralize it with millions of customers trusting it is safer and secure than even the decentralized wallets due to  the Samsung brand?

You are right and I don't see any issue regarding with this. Eth has the same popularity with btc and most ICOs accept eth so that could be the reason for supporting eth transactions first. We should rejoice on what is happening instead of debating because we all benefit with this news because Samsung is the most patronize brand around the world next to Apple.

I dont think that this is the reason why btc is not included in the release of the phone  . i guess the owner is just an anti bitcoin , thats why they didnt include bitcoin  .  bitcoin is more popular and can also work fast depending on the fee or depending on the network traffic  . but as what other said , this isnt really a big problem to consider because we can still download a wallet that accepts bitcoin and other cryptos  .
