for me, this isn't a good news cause
Samsung won’t be selling chips to the public that
are capable of mining cryptocurrencies.
We cant get surprised neither get excited cause Samsung is just
doing their job they are just dealing with Big Company.
Though, I am 100% sure that huge companies like Samsung are
looking for new opportunities using blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.

i don't know how true this information is but if this is true then it is a great improvement for us all bitcoin users and investors. this means better days for cryptocurrency
I don't know if it's bad or good. But I guess, Samsung company seeing a opportunity for them to make or gain profit. And for bitcoin, it's kinda promotion. I'm hoping that the bitcoin fees will get lower and the bitcoin will get a higher value and it's great, isn't it? I'm hoping that the bitcoin be little faster than before.

Well, another good news for bitcoin industry! People can now mine bitcoin throught their samsung chips but i really think it is not advisable since it could lower the value of bitcoin and it is gonna be expensive chip. It could lead into a mining with cellphone. Where everyone can manage to have bitcoin by their cellphones. Which is bad since it could decrease the manpower job in ones country.
If you think that Samsung is just a mobile manufacturing company, you are wrong, you really cannot create a ASIC chip that could contain in a mobile phone, it is not possible and even if they come out with an outstanding new miner it wont affect the price of bitcoin, if there are more miners then the difficulty will also increase. samsung is the best smartphone brand in the world, if samsung join cryptocurrency will be very good because there will be a lot of positive response about bitcoin and bitcoin users will increase
It might be a big brand but there are local companies that provide much better mobile phones at a much cheaper rate than the branded ones. Tongue
It is good that they are entering the mining industry and hopefully they will come up with a competing mining hardware this year, i think Nvidia and AMD is already in works to come up with mining specific graphic cards, over all promising news for miners.

Everyone wants their business to expand and so does Samsung, emerging nearly into every possible field from mobile to washing machines they always help technology to grow more and hence they are doing it one more time. These chips will definitely help making things process faster, there by helping the community. BUt the main question will come if they really do or these are just fake promises.

I see it positive since other companies may soon join this league. To note: Now only Batmain is supplying ASIC chip mining rigs. all are aware of price shocks with this machine purchase.

With Samsung launching their miners, i hope to see a price competition.

Samsung is one of the largest if not the largest company in the world. They do more than tech, and have their hands in every industry you can think of (insurance, finance, advertising, etc. etc.). Selling miners is likely just the very tip of the iceberg in terms of their embrace of crypto.

The entry of one of the largest conglomerate in the world is a big vote of confidence for bitcoin/cryptocurrency.  All the other big companies are expected to follow the lead of Samsung unless they chose to be left behind.
with the good news like this it will make bitcoin increasingly popular and trusted in the eyes of the world. Because Samsung is a well-known technology company in the world it will simplify bitcoin to be a trust in transactions and used in any activity in order to facilitate someone.

Crypto-currencies, including bitcoins, are mined with the help of mining. Its essence lies in the fact that the computer, using a special program (miner), conducts complex mathematical calculations, receiving a reward in the form of new digital coins (tokens), which are called crypto currency. Any processor can be used for mining, but specially-tuned platforms like ASIC are more preferable among serious miners who are interested in the speed of production of tokens. These platforms are specifically designed for a single purpose - mining. This is their difference from multifunctional and multitasking processors, which are used in conventional computers and smartphones.

It should be noted that Samsung already produces voluminous memory chips for graphics processors of video cards, which are used not only to display graphics on the computer, but also for the crypto currency.

According to the Korean edition of Bell, Samsung last year completed the development of its ASIC chip for bitcoin mining, and earlier, this month, they have already launched them into mass production.

The Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacture (TSMC) is another giant in the ASIC chip industry. TSMC has established relations with the largest miners' organizations to which they supply these chips. Among them are, for example, the Chinese company Bitmain and Canaan Creative. According to reports from trusted sources, it was these chips that generated $ 350 million to $ 400 million in profits last year.

High and stable demand for chips for mining is a direct consequence of the take-off of bitcoin and other crypto-currencies. In just one year, the price of bitcoin grew from $ 800 to $ 20,000. According to the global market capitalization, bitcoin today continues to trade at around $ 10,000.
