Wow that's for real? They don't want to get left behind when there's something on trend and if they have seen so much profit that can potentially add to their popularity as well as revenue, they don't want to be late with it.Good news are not recognized by the people as they are more focused with hearing bad news all the time so this is a good one. AFAIK, they are also creating something that can fully support mining. But it's not recommend to use phones to mine.
You can't really call this supporting I'm sure samsung always knew what bitcoin mining was they just didn't find it profitable but now as there are multiple complaints against antminer they decided why not they also be a part of it and make profit , don't think this is being done for the sake of bitcoin they are a business after all

Just think why a bigger company will create something for bitcoin if they will not believe on it. They believe on its future that is why they are planning for it.
I have heard the news that samsung will create some hardware for bitcoin which is actually a good indication either indirectly for all bitcoin users.
