this will be a very good power with Samsung already using bitcoin and coin altcoin coins the other, and I strongly believe this will be able to push the price to go up.
This thing right here, is far more significant than the "BMW" accepting bitcoin news is. This is actually Samsung. Not some random dealer. Wonder why they started in these Baltic states though, probably testing things out first before going full-scale with bitcoin payments hopefully sometime in the future.
Though I really don't know why they even accepted Steem though. Steem isn't even made for merchant payments(though you could say the same for ETH).

those are just stored like any other store and the store owner is free to do whatever they want, i don't think it has anything to do with Samsung itself. it is just a method of payment and you have permission to sell Samsung products but your contract doesn't say which method of payment to use.
as for ETH,... it is funny because they are not even currencies! it is always surprising enough when people compare ETH and BTC and i can get why gambling sites accept it but a merchant doing it is just not right. and i seriously doubt if anyone spends their ETH, they barely spend their bitcoin as it is, they won't spend their altcoins which are purely investment.

I don't see how Samsung, a technological giant(giant being a huge understatement) accepting crypto is "not too big". If it goes successful I don't see why they wouldn't do the same for their other stores.

What's been mentioned seems to be the acceptance of cryptocurrency on the selected stores seems to be on individual interest. Samsung hasn't revealed anything stating the acceptance of cryptocurrency into their businesses. Samsung entering the production of mining equipments is a first step of positive signal from Samsung and hope the similar support will continue.

Yeah this is the real Samsung unlike the fake news that has been spread through the BMW dealer.Samsung has been doing a great job for welcoming cryptocurrencies if you can remember guys that they are also producing ASIC chips, they want to play a big role in the crypto ecosystem.
