Just e-mailed the same to support, but I just logged in after ~3 weeks and my account is missing ~77.4 bitcoins that were invested in the site bankroll. My password also did not work. I reset password, which did work immediately, and upon logging back in the account created date was accurate but the user name was changed and the "last active" shows "0000-00-00 00:00:00"

Please tell me I didn't get hacked/robbed for this sum of money...
If you make an investment, you should send your investment directly to a Bitcoin address of the company and not to your player account, waiting to forward your Bitcoins or however this work with satoshidice.

As soon as you sent your investment to satoshidice, they are responsible if your investment suddenly escape.  Wink

Their site is poorly ran and the odds have been altered. Anyone who plays from this point on deserves to lose their coins.

When people warn of exit scams with evidence i advise taking out while you can. Or end up like all the other chumps losing their coins. Be those people doesn't make any difference to me

I have resolved my situation with Satoshidice. I'm not going to into the details, but after getting in touch with me the SD support was completely transparent and fair about everything. Everything is fine on my end, and my trust in them is completely restored.

wow that is good to hear. Can you at least say that you got your money back?

Well judging by his tone I am pretty sure he got his 77 BTC back or else he would be very angry. Most likely the support told him to reply on his thread so calms every bodies nerves about the website.

Either way I wonder what their explanation is for all those depleting investor funds by those mysterious brand new gamblers which had incredible luck.

Good news.

I can now confirm that my case has been resovled by them after i hadnt been able to withdraw ever since the site started acting up. it took me my forth attempt (1 by forum messages 3 by email) but they handeled my withdrawel with confirmation that i was indeed the owner of the account in question and they sent the bitcoins to a provided adress.

add me to the list of sources saying they arent running away with your money. theyre probably just not equiped to handle the of request at the moment.

that is all.

Thanks for the updates SD - will be great if you get the site back on track - SD is my favourite dice site - but I stopped using it about 6 months ago due to all the problems

Great job fixing the graphs ... much work to do still, without 2fa I would never consider sending coins to a bitcoin  site.

It is required to temporarily unlock the account before withdrawing. When requesting an unlock, our system sends a confirmation link to the user's email address. Clicking this link will unlock the account for 3 minutes.

We are adding additional 2FA as soon as possible.

Join the world-leading crypto sportsbook NOW!
It is cool the faucet gives you 200 satoshis every 60 seconds if your balance is less than 100 satoshis. What I don't like is that you can bet for 'more than' some number, only for the 'less than'. You now, there is this fake feeling that you need to bet 'more than' and if on 50/50 you won then to bet 'less than' Roll Eyes
And stats are still  not working.

I can't see any graphs at https://www.satoshidice.com/stats/, tried two browsers. Is it just me or for everyone?

We're fixing the graphs now and will let you know when they are working again.

Its same for me too. I think problem is on their side.

Looks like a technical issue - I'm not so impressed by the site these days, hope the devs manage to get SD back on track again, site has so much potential.

Hey,
why do you game-protect not write a private message to jake_a99 who has somehow lost 74 bitcoin in Satoshidice.
I mean for 55.000USD it should be worth to take a lawyer in Curaçao, something game-protect is very savvy in and finally put some pressure on Satoshidice?
Instead of filling this forum with insinuations and hidden "legal-help"offers.

Jake_a99.. If you really still miss your 74 bitcoins and have not been contacted via skype, telefone or pm for this amount of money I think having some feet on the ground in Curaçao would be interesting. Test out game-protect.. I am curious.
Well done, I think actually, a legal counsel for these thing would be very interesting.

Game-protect and Maidenvoyage, thanks for your input! Its great to see so much interest and solutions on how to approach specific issues.
We´re all in favor on what game-protect is doing.

This has to do with the missing player funds, and its something we take very seriously.
We are in contact with the players in question. We wont leave this matter unresolved.

please answer my  pm.

I feel like right now is a real make or break moment for Satoshidice. They could refund the investors that were robbed, add 2FA and maybe work on a more fluid hot wallet, and be up there in contention for best dice site, not to mention the first. Or they could deny any responsibility for the robberies, never address the hot wallet, ignore everyone, get strongly branded as an outright scam, and fizzle out (or maybe just steal the rest and run/hide to avoid legal action).

I know which scenario I'm in favor of  Wink
They do not rob investors to refund them.

I doubt they could be the best dice site with 1,9% house edge, while others offer 0,8% and without robbing, cheating, etc.

They can not avoid legal action, the laws are clear. But they likely will not face legal action, because of the mindset of the victims.

The house edge has nothing to do with the site.
I thought the site takes the house edge, surprised to hear that the house edge has nothing to do with the site.

The reason why its losing profits is because gamblers are moving on to other website.
How many gamblers did they lose?

They lose profit because new accounts register and win the same day 303 Bitcoin slots. Anyway, no one knows their profit, as there are no numbers available and they simply take Bitcoins out of the investor accounts and no one knows why.

I still don't know how the situation with these investors will play out, but its looks very fishy for these huge wins coming out of nowhere all at once.
As long as victims are not willing to initiate legal action, nothing will happen. They know the mindset of the victims and think they have nothing to fear.

This is whats bad about Bitcoin. All the sites have to do is say "We were hacked- sorry" and our bitcoins are gone and nothing we can do about it.
It is only bad about Bitcoin if the site is anonymous and go shady.

If the operator is known, like in the satoshidice scam case, then you can of course initiate legal action in Curacao.

No, they can not simply say "We were hacked- sorry". If they were hacked, they still owe you your Bitcoins. Furthermore, in Curacao all transactions have to be stored by law.
