Al Nassr getting smoked 4-0 by Porto ain't about Ronaldo taking a break. Even with Mane and Talisca, they looked lost. This ain't no preseason rust, this is a full-blown tactical meltdown

Al Nassr, you're spending big bucks on players, but what about the damn coach? You got world-class talent playing like amateurs. Take a page from Al Ittihad, bring in a European coach with some balls and brains. I'm talking Laurent Blanc level, someone who can turn this circus into a war machine

You need more than just fancy signings. You need a revolution on and off the field. Fix the coaching, fix the tactics, or kiss those trophies goodbye. Wake up before it's too late
Saudi Pro League is not easy as it appears, it involves a whole lot of competitive strength and weigh out of the picture for those clubs that are vulnerable. The Knights of Najd are not wasting any time, they're doing everything within their strength to ensure they grabbed significant winnings. It's very important for them and the supporters, even though it means adding new players and making more accounting recordings. Al Nassr will build their club to become strong enough so they could easily compete with Al Hilal.

Al Hilal knew that the Brazilian player was injury-prone, yet they went ahead to sign him. It is assumed that the club had some other reasons for signing Neymar Jr. Publicity might be another major reason since the Saudi Professional League needed all the attention to compete with other major leagues. On the pitch, he has not contributed much; maybe his influence has brought some level of publicity to the league. Based on reports, Neymar might recover from his current knee injury by the end of this month. The club needs his skills and experience to continue its dominance of the Gulf League.
Definitely, the league needed to be publicized and they knew bringing in as many stars as possible would take them to some level and it did. They wanted to add the likes of Mbappe as well but it will be difficult to bring in young players than it will be for older ones m, Neymar had already spent quite some time in Europe and he was near his retirement days already so it was easier to bring him.

Neymar was probably useless throughout last season, spending so much money on him but added nothing to their success, i believe publicity was the only he offered them.

I don't think the current coach deserves to continue managing Al Nassr. It seems he can't make any improvement on the Al Nassr performance. Why Al Nassr doesn't try to hire a top European coach? There should be some European coaches who want to manage Al Nassr if Al Nassr wants to make an interesting offer.
Al Nassr are not doing badly, they are playing well they were just probably not as good as Al Hilal because they still had defense issues which i believe if they are able to strengthen their defense they should be able to challenge Al Hilal. The coach has done his best and I don’t think it’s his fault, he should be given another chance to improve his team before signing a new coach.

To be honest, Neymar is now just a burden that Al Hilal has to bear, because they have to pay his salary even though he doesn't play. On the one hand, without Neymar's presence, they also have no problems and can even perform well, apart from that, there are personal problems between Neymar and the management which are certainly a pressure. Some time ago, Al Hilal expressed their annoyance at Neymar because this player was unable to maintain his condition, but this is something difficult because the player himself certainly does not want to experience this problem.

Even if Al Hilal wants to sell Neymar, I think it is quite difficult because of his condition. Other clubs will not take the risk of buying a player who is not in his best form or even injured. What Al Hilal can do now is wait for their player to recover and if they don't want to take any more risks, they must quickly sell him when there is an offer.
Neymar is not to blame for having such a serious injury, I think he would be more happy to be on the field than to undergo rehabilitation after such a serious injury. He will not be able to return to the game until this fall, and it is not clear how well he will be able to recover and how much time he will need to get back into shape. And his contract with Al-Hilal ends in 2025, so it is quite possible that he will not bring much benefit to the club and will not extend his contract.
It is true that one never wants to be injured. Moreover, due to the big injury he got, there are many doubts about his return to the field. Now the big challenge for him is to get on the field. Even if he can't play, there's no problem with him getting his fixed salary regularly. He has been sidelined for a long time due to injury and it is not certain when he will be able to play. There are also doubts about whether he will sign a new deal when his contract expires in 2025. But the Saudi League is trying its best to promote their league to the world. Moreover, they are hoping to keep some more players. Casemiro, Alison Baker, Kevin De Bruyne and many more. In the future, the league will gain more popularity than ever before.

Ronaldo still hasn't joining with Al Nassr because he still on vacation and Al Nassr so far has been through an several friendlies matches against several times but until now they haven't gets the winning results from those matches even the latest is Al Nassr have to lost with big scores against Portugal team FC Porto with the final scores 4-0 although Luis Castro was playing some of Al Nassr key players in that match such as Sadio Mane, Talisca, Otavinho and Brozović but the performance of Al Nassr in this match is compeletely messed up

Here is Al Nassr friendlies matches results during pre season tour below

Louletano 1 - 1 Al-Nassr
Portimonense 1 - 0 Al-Nassr
Porto 4 - 0 Al-Nassr

Scored 1 goal from 3 matches is poor statistics from Al Nassr considering their opponents such as Louletano and Portimonense is the teams from lower division of Portugal league which in the term of quality those teams certainly is below to Al Nassr and i know this is only friendlies matches but i think these results could be a warning for Al Nassr because until 3 matches they still haven't gets the winning results and conceded 5 goals

Seems from these results we can see the difference between Al Nassr with Ronaldo or without him because just like we see that Al Nassr without Ronaldo can't do anything even they looks difficult to scores goals and win besides that i can understand now why for transfer players Al Nassr focusing to gets defensive players because this was the main weakness of Al Nassr last season

Recently I heard a rumor regarding Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson moving to the Saudi Pro League, as it appears on transfermarkt.com 2 teams from Saudi Pro League interested in this goalkeeper Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr or maybe we could say it is in the negotiation stage, who will succeed in signing Ederson? Since last season I have said that Al-Nassr need a new goalkeeper from Europa to compete with Al-Hilal or at least improve their defenses otherwise they will remain under Al-Hilal.

I'm not saying Al-Ittihad is a bad team for Ederson but it would be perfect if he chose Al-Nassr as a team competing to win the title, so next we will wait to see which team will be the next target. Ederson current market value is 35 million and I think Al-Nassr wouldn't mind paying for it moreover, Ederson is still at a productive age 30 years.

Al Nassr already has an European coach. Luís Castro is a Portuguese and has managed big clubs in Europe, such as Shakhtar Donetsk and FC Porto, and also the Qatarian side Al-Duhail Sports Club. We shouldn't start criticizing him now since these games are just preparatory to the main league events.

You are right, since being brought in from PSG in 2023, Neymar has only played 3 times without scoring a goal so we can say that he did not contribute to Al-Hilal this season while the contract will end in 2025 well, we don't know what steps Al-Hilal will take next. So far we have not heard any rumors regarding this player even though we know that Al Hilal will definitely be harmed. To be honest, I almost forgot about this player because I haven't seen him play in a long time.
Paris Saint-Germain knows the raring of Neymar and had to let him go because he was unavailable to creates aides for them during important matches. Perhaps an SPL elite side, Al Hilal can do more without the contribution of the player. He's always keen on accomplishing his mission,  always taking heights, during his prime. But I'm afraid about his current position in the team. Neymar Jr is vulnerable to injuries and this is bad for the reputation and standard form of the Brazilian. He's been sidelined for months and this is probably bad news for Neymar Jr and his agent.
Neymar Jr is actually time to retire and he just forced himself to join any club to get money but ignored the future of the club that signed him at a high price without giving any contribution.
Sooner or later I am sure he will be released by Al Hilal if in the coming season he does not recover soon without giving something memorable to the club that has paid him a lot.
Neymar's glory days have begun to fade and that means Neymar has to think about his future to retire and be able to enjoy more time with his family even though mentally he still wants to be a football player but for me that will only make him suffer.

Without Neymar Al Hilal have shown their best strength last season and if he returns fit and joins the team at the start of this season of course that is quite good news. Fans are of course looking forward to Neymar's action on the field, but it's a shame that he often gets injured because when he recovered, it wasn't long before he was injured again. It may be true that Neymar's recruitment did not end as desired because he had frequent injuries which hampered him last season.

But Al-Hilal uses Neymar's big name very well for marketing purposes and this can still help the club's income even though Neymar has never played a match with Al-Hilal. I think there are positive and negative values that can be taken from the Neymar incident and of course even though Al-Hilal is not strengthened by Neymar they are still as strong.

It's all because of the intelligence of coach Jorge Jesus who is known to be very cool in handling the Al-Hilal squad and wherever they step they always win. We can also see in the Saudi pro league Al-Hilal remains an undefeated team last season and it is possible that next season they will still maintain that record. Well, Neymar will only be a luxurious decoration owned by Al-Hilal and regardless of whether he plays or not because he is still injured, it will not change anything if Al-Hilal still dominates the league.
Yes, apart from Neymar, Saudi Al-Helal team has always performed well, currently every player in Al-Helal team is a great player. Al Helal team has remained an undefeated team since 2020 for until now the whole four seasons, George Jesus of Al Helal is really a great responsible course, because of his talent all the players of Al-Halal are so great now and this team is an undefeated team. Anyway, now Neymar is returning to the team, after 9 months of treatment, Neymar will returning his full fitness and play for the Al-Helal team. We may see this team as an undefeated team in the next season as well. And next season will be a great season.

I want to focus on the match against Porto only because we have no enough information related to the match against Louletano and Portimonense. For the match against Porto, it is very obvious that Al Nassr has no attacking power and has weak defense. Without Ronaldo and Laporte, Al Nassr looks like a weak team. They couldn't score a single goal and they got 4 conceded goals. If we checked the lineup, it is true that Al Nassr made a serious lineup with their main players such as Talisca, Mane, Brozović, and Otavio. It means Al Nassr really needs new players, specifically for defenders and a strong striker. I think Al Nassr also needs an experience defensive midfielder like Casemiro.

I don't think the current coach deserves to continue managing Al Nassr. It seems he can't make any improvement on the Al Nassr performance. Why Al Nassr doesn't try to hire a top European coach? It seems that Ronaldo's focus is not on the pre-season match because with his old age, it will only drain his stamina if he has to participate in the pre-season match. Therefore, he prefers to maintain his body by continuing to do individual training and occasionally enjoying a vacation. Of course, Al-Nassr will also not press their star players more tightly and Ronaldo can take all decisions without having to involve other parties.

The less than good results, especially defeats, are very natural for Al-Nassr to get because the comparison with other players from each opponent is also quite different and besides, which team wants to look serious in a match like this. Ronaldo's role is indeed very important but sometimes Al-Nassr can also do more even without Ronaldo. So this is between them wanting to be serious or not, we don't know or this is just trying a new tactic before the Saudi pro league even though the results are not as expected.

Al-Hilal has always remained strong even without Neymar. but I'm sure many are looking forward to Neymar returning to play at Al-Hilal when he recovers. And Neymar's condition has indeed improved, although he has not yet fully recovered. But in the next season, we can hope that Neymar will be able to play again. Neymar has indeed added to the popularity of the SPL in the eyes of the football world. So even without him playing, actually just being part of the Al-Hilal club is already an attraction in itself. Jorge Jesus is indeed a genius coach. He is able to maximize every player that Al-hilal has very well. And last season Al-hilal also achieved a very convincing unbeaten record in the SPL. Because Al-hilal always seems to make victory so easy for them to get. Maybe next season will indeed be a more interesting season. Because Al-hilal will try to dominate again and other teams will try to catch up.

yes Al-hilal is still strong even without Neymar and it has been proven that Al-nassr has not been able to beat Al-hilal until now but yes of course in this case Al-hilal is indeed great and of course I always imagine that if Neymar was not injured maybe Al-hilal would be better The squad is strong and strong, but of course now Al-Hilal has achieved its goals and of course won many championships.

Of course there are definitely many people who want him to play in the next season and of course having him at Al-Hilal will certainly make Al-Hilal even more popular. But yes, Al-Hilal is very lucky to have a good coach and Jorge Jesus is really great at making strategies when competing.

but for the coming season of course we won't know Al-Hilal's performance, but I'm sure Jorge Jesus will always make good strategies and formations in the coming season and of course he won't underestimate other teams and will definitely Be careful, but if Neymar has recovered from his injury and plays to defend Al-Hilal, of course Al-Hilal will have great potential to win the title again. But of course, all teams want to be champions in the coming season and many teams are definitely preparing everything for the coming season and taking advantage of the transfer market.

Yes, you are right, Neymar has provided something positive for the team with his big name. He is able to provide a lot of positive encouragement for the club's finances with jersey sales or other marketing. However, if you look at his career statistics, of course a storm of injuries has hampered him in the last two seasons. But looking at his trophy collection, of course he is very successful because of Al Hilal's success last season adding to Neymar's trophy collection. I hope he can return to the field if he is 100% fit because in terms of age of course he is still strong enough to play another 4 or 5 seasons.

Seeing Al Hilal's progress last season, of course many people were amazed by their concentration, who managed to go match after match without being defeated. In fact, Al Hilal was able to lock up the title early because of the large difference in points with Al Nassr. The Saudi Arabian league is getting more interesting every season because many European players continue to join the Saudi Arabian league.

It doesn't matter to them whether they lose or win in this match, the most important thing is that they can see where they have weaknesses so that they can fix them in the real competition later. Friendly matches like this are very important for a team, because they can evaluate before starting the competition. Yes, it should have been a match that ended in a draw if only the golden opportunity they got could have been made into a goal. But they don't need to regret this result, because their game was actually good at the beginning. Although there are still many notes that they need to fix to make the team better next season. The Saudi Pro League team must have more friendly matches with stronger teams, it will make them learn a lot about how different strengths with different playing styles too.
From the formation of players we can see who are the players used in the Sevilla match against Ittihad and everyone knows friendly matches are not very important because they only give some time for young players to feel a few matches before the new season starts.
With other meanings like every club only gives players the opportunity who does not have full time in the real match.

We may not need to be surprised by the results of the match because even though Sevilla is one of the popular European clubs, it does not mean that Ittihad cannot provide resistance so the score ended 1-0.
That is actually the goal of the teams in carrying out pre-season matches, they do not look at the final results, but they look more at the progress that can be shown. Moreover, with players who rarely get playing minutes in the competition, it is expected that they can show their abilities, because it is not impossible that in the pre-season match the coach will see and may start to consider giving more playing minutes to the player. It also feels strange when people only look at the final results of this pre-season match, what do they want to expect from a match like this other than preparing themselves as well as possible? After all, this is also a form of their preparation to go through the real season. What must be considered is when entering the beginning of the season. There we can see their real game and from there we can judge their performance.

It is likely that Neymar Jr will recover soon this summer and he will start to show his contribution to Al Hilal but maybe he is still a bit prone to injury so he might not be used too often by Al Hilal coach to prevent bad things from happening again, even without Neymar Al Hilal still has other good players like Aleksander Mitrovic who last season was the top scorer, I just hope that Neymar's performance does not decrease drastically because he was absent for a long time.
But I didn't know that Neymar was contracted for 2 years since he was bought from PSG. I thinking with a fairly expensive price he was given a long-term contract. If Neymar leaves next season, Al Hilal will suffer even more losses because they lost their star player for free.

Previously, Neymar was scheduled to return to play between August, according to the Brazilian national team doctor at that time. So if Al Hilal keeps him, it is likely that Neymar can return to play with Al Hilal after the new season starts. I had read several previous posts, if Al Hilal had reported about Neymar recently. It is true, Al Hilal is still a strong team even without Neymar last season. In the coming season, we do not know Al Hilal's overall performance. Although this team is one of the elite teams in the Saudi League, there are several competing teams that are ready to compete in the coming season. There is nothing wrong with keeping Neymar, after all he is still under contract with Al Hilal for another season. Jorge Jesus is a coach who has handled Al Hilal before, so when he returns to handle Al Hilal, he is already quite familiar with this team. Next season the competition will be quite competitive, considering that the teams that are Al Hilal's competitors are not sitting still to increase the strength of their squads. one of them is Al Nassr, the team that is Al Hilal's rival will certainly be even tighter in competing for the League trophy. plus, several other clubs seem to also be participating in enlivening the competition after the Saudi Pro League is held. isn't this more interesting, so it's natural that Al Hilal will not let go of Neymar. after all, there is not necessarily a club from another League that is willing to pay for Neymar's services with his condition that is not yet certain.
A more interesting competition will indeed occur in the next season. Because several clubs in the SPL have started adding new players and many of them are European star players. And what makes me quite enthusiastic about the next SPL season is because now it's not just European players who are no longer young who come to SPL clubs. But now several young players also seem interested in joining clubs in the SPL. And Al-Nassr has also got a fairly young goalkeeper, namely Bento. Even though I say young here, I don't mean less than 20 years old, but Bento himself is already 25 years old. But I say he is a young player because he is younger than the European star players who were previously brought to this club. Al-Nassr continues to improve their defense line which was very fragile last season. And I wonder how it will play out in the coming season.

Neymar Jr is dormant player, still injured and have been sideline for months, not good for the club because they signed him from Paris Saint-Germain because he was the positioned player that would relieve pressure. Al Hilal don't depend on Neymar Jr for winning games and lifting trophies. They've in place, the expected squad to clean out the competitive race.
Very true. Neymar only spends the season on the bench, he got injury for a very long time. Last season, Neymar almost did no contribution for Al Hilal. If we followed the news of Neymar, most of the time is only about his controversial habits. So, this player actually deserves to sell, or Al Hilal board can terminate his contract. I think one of the biggest problems of Neymar is he never learns to live as a discipline player. So, his injury never recovers because of his habit. His great skills is nothing if he can't play due to a prone of injury. Moreover, Neymar asks a big salary, it should burden the financial of Al Hilal.

Note, Saudi Arabia football is quite different from the English Premier League and European leagues. It's very challenging and entirely different from others. Rumors circulating rapidly but I lose interest in them because the vast news are mainly rumors.
Why you lose interest because of rumors?  Huh
You can't blame Saudi league if there are too many rumors around them. It is the media who often made rumors. Just blame the media, dude.
We can't expect Saudi league to have the same level as top leagues in Europe. Sure, SPL is different with EPL, La Liga, Serie A, or other European leagues. However, I think SPL has made a big progress. It is not easy to attract many top European players to play in a small league like SPL. They deserve to get the appreciation.

Neymar Jr have no impact for Al Hilal, he continue to struggle with injuries and weigh out of balance. He will return to training in couple of months and start keying into major roles for the club.
