Quite surprising news where Kante is so sought after by two European clubs, namely West Ham and Atletico. Of course it is because of his stunning appearance with France at Euro this year and it is natural that even though he is not good at Al-Ittihad because of the lack of support from his teammates, it still makes his name glanced at by European teams.

On the other hand, Al-Ittihad's decision will not let Kante go and they insist that Kante is not sold. I think this depends on Kante's decision and if he wants to return to Europe then he can enjoy a league with a more exciting competitive level and if he stays in the Saudi league then he will only enjoy an income of millions of euros each season. We know that Kante's desire to play in big competitions is still there and his level has not actually decreased.

Things are about to get interesting. VERY interesting. Al-Nassr's got Ronaldo, thats a given. But even the greatest player in the world needs the right team around him to truly dominate. They've made some smart moves - Bento in goal, Fofana back from loan. They're not just throwing money around, they're building a team.

Al Nassr has new football kit

 Grin

Talking about what I expect from Al Nassr for this season, well they haven't made any big signings, so I expect to see the same thing as last season, tomorrow AL Nassr FC has an official game, they will play against AL Taawoun FC in a Super Cup game, Al Nassr is being seen as the favorite to win the game, but I think it won't be an easy game for Al Nassr.

Al Hilal, they've got a solid squad, hardworking guys. But they might be a bit top-heavy. Neymar's out, and that could leave a big hole. They won without him last season, sure, but can they do it again?

Neymar will play in this new season, from what I could understand in this article:

Thats where the underdogs come in. Al Ittihad, Al Qadisiyah, they're making moves. They're hungry. And they've got some serious talent. Moussa Diaby? Thats a game-changer.

In my opinion, these teams can bring the best players in the world, but if they don't have the best coaches, then they won't be able to achieve anything relevant.

The Saudi League is heating up. Its not just a two-horse race anymore. And thats good for everyone. More competition, more excitement. Believe me, this is going to be a season to remember.

I agree, the Arabs managed to do something very good, something that the Chinese and Americans did not achieve in their football leagues.

Everybody's drooling over Ronaldo and Neymar, thinking Al-Nassr and Al Hilal are gonna steamroll the league. However, Al Ittihad's making moves. Not only a highlight reel, even Al Qadisiyah is constructing a squad. Ronaldo's a legend, but he ain't won squat in Saudi yet. Neyma? Dude's made of glass. Based on celebrities is a dangerous game

Real talk: You should start looking past the hype. Teams that develop depth, synergy, and that's where the magic occurs. This season, strategy will take the stage rather than only star power

Keep a watch on the underdog. They could just shock the world, they are smart and hungry. The Saudi Pro League is changing and it will be significant
In the previous season, Al Nasr and Al Hilal dominated the Saudi Arabian League. Al Nasr was clearly helped by Ronaldo, but Al Hilal was not helped at all by Neymar, because of his long-term injury. However, strangely, Al Hilal, which lost its main player due to injury, managed to become champion of the Saudi Arabian League in the previous season. Meanwhile, Al Nasr, who had full strength, was helpless against Al Hilal and failed in all competitions in the previous season.

However, this season I also cannot conclude with certainty whether Al Nasr and Al Hilal will be successful and compete fiercely like the previous season. Because as we know, teams like Al Ittihad and Al Qadsiah seem to be serious about building their squad to be even better this season. Because it is proven that these two teams bring in top players from European clubs. However, even so, the players brought in by Al Ittihad or Al Qadsiah will not necessarily be able to bring these two teams to success in the Saudi Arabian League next season. Because as we know, top players cannot guarantee that their team will get a trophy. However, teamwork and good chemistry between players and coaches is what can make a team have great potential to become champions.

However, I have predictions regarding the teams that will most likely compete closely in the Saudi Arabian League next season. These teams are

  • Al Hilal
  • Al Nasr
  • Al Ahli
  • Al Ittihad
  • Al Qadsiah

These five teams will definitely compete fiercely in the top 5 of the Saudi Arabian League. Apart from that, in my opinion, in the Saudi Arabian League there is not much change every season, Al Hilal, Al Nasr and Al Ittihad are always tough competitors every season. So next season, it is very likely that these three teams will compete fiercely again. Then Al Ittihad and Al Qadsiah will become scapegoats which of course can provide unexpected surprises.

With Portugal's lack of significant success in the 2022 World Cup, Ronaldo has said that he will play until the 2026 World Cup, but the performances we have seen from Ronaldo for the national team in the Euro tournament seem to suggest that he will not be available for the national team until 2026.

Ronaldo did not finish well in the Euro tournaments and he was not seen taking free kicks like he used to and we did not see him dribbling the ball like he used to. If he performs like that, maybe the manager will tell him to replace him with a young player who will perform better. Ronaldo may not like the fact that he is now a burden to a team that he once single-handedly carried.
Let's see as there is still a long time if his performance improves then maybe he can consider participating in 2026 World Cup.
Portugal's poor run in recent Euro 2024 is not all about Cristiano Ronaldo it's all about their management because currently they are having few quality players, but sadly we are having not good use of them in this event just because of this we are having Portugal performing poorly in big events their system completely fail to give confidence to their quality players for having good performance in consistency despite having players even now Cristiano Ronaldo is 39, but they are still having all strategy around him which is surely worst for them and their teams future.

Now it's time for them to move ahead and have some good changes with bringing skilled and quality players for having better results surely give them good success in Euro and World Cup if we are having Cristiano Ronaldo in World Cup 2026 surely it is not good deal for them team, but they are doing nothing for development and having better things for their future.

A player's career is like night and day, sometimes his life is very bright and other times he is very dark.

Ronaldo's first club in Europe was Manchester United. He probably wanted to finish his career with Manchester United. Joining Manchester United in the second round was the biggest mistake for Ronaldo as we saw him never get the respect he deserved and he was sidelined and other players were allowed to play. When he was regularly disappointing for Manchester United, we didn't imagine that he could come to Saudi Arabia as his next destination because we didn't know much about this league before. He introduced us to a new league by signing Al Nasser and since his departure the number of European players going to the Saudi League has increased.

Al Nasser and Ronaldo have mutually benefited from signing each other so I think Al Nasser will definitely let him finish his career at the club with respect.
Things like these are part of play and life for the sportsman but still mostly are feeling second tenure of Cristiano Ronaldo at the Manchester United were mistake because things were not ideal, and he was also having problems with coach Eric Ten Hag which ended his career in UEFA, and now he is enjoying his last session of play in Saudi League where now he is having too many records in front of his name and his performance is also at the top even he fails to bring trophies for the Al Nassr, but things are impressive.

Now we are having extension for him with most chances his career will be ended after the end of the 2026 as he is also having his eyes fixed on becoming first player in soccer history with 1000 goals in career which could be huge achievement for him and Al Nassr with his performance in last season we can expect another good season for him.
With Portugal's lack of significant success in the 2022 World Cup, Ronaldo has said that he will play until the 2026 World Cup, but the performances we have seen from Ronaldo for the national team in the Euro tournament seem to suggest that he will not be available for the national team until 2026.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a star player and his performance is unquestionable as a football player wherever he goes he can always give his best for his club, he even seems to not feel the difficult times or decline in performance even though his age is getting older, I think he will retire because of age, not because of his performance because I think he will still be like this.

One thing I'm waiting for until now is Ronaldo can conquer the Saudi League like he did in the Europa League, by winning prestigious titles to complete his trophy collection, then he will be recorded in the history of Arab and European football.
Cristiano Ronaldo is currently the biggest brand in soccer due to his consistent performance and having quality in last two decades now in February 2025 he could be turned to 40 his contract is going to end at the end of this season in June 2025 so he is going to have thought about his future with most chances he is going to have another extension for the two years because he wants to reach on milestone number of goals 1000 this need nearly two seasons so most chances we will be having this with mutual understanding because Saudi League organizers still need him, and he can do this for the sake of game and having huge salary which is already bringing him near the list of Billionaire.

Even many are feeling now it's time for him to give up but his super human body and quality are still at the top, and he has already done nearly 44 goals in last season this is making things favourable for him to stay until few more seasons and give his best with have his name in history books for having 1000 goals in front of his name.

For next season I don't expect much from Al-Nassr because I didn't see them doing anything I mean they are not trying to get new players to compete with Al-hilal even though we know that with the current squad Al-Nassr is always under Al-Hilal so Al-Nassr should prepare itself if it really wants to compete. Do you think Ronaldo will get a new teammate? I hope so yeah especially in defense and goalkeeping which looks weaker than last season.

Al-Nassr is still the main competitor of Al Hilal next season. My mind initially about several teams in the Saudi League still did not get answers even though last season Al Hilal remained a team that won the Trophy.
The competition next season will not change at least the two teams, maybe those who will enter the team competition such as Al experts and Al Ittihad.
Ronaldo is still possible to get new colleagues because Al Nassr is still trying to get players with the current recruitment strategy.

With Al Nassr, Ronaldo can laugh freely with his teammates again, very different from when he was at Manchester United, it seemed like he was very depressed when he was there. There were many internal problems faced, including his problems with the coach. I can understand his feelings right now, because anyone would be surprised when returning to the club while the situation was very different when he left Manchester United to go to Real Madrid at that time.

I also saw that at Al Nassr he was more appreciated and respected compared to his former club which was the club that made his name big. However, I am sure he still respects Manchester United, but for some reason he can no longer have a harmonious relationship. I saw that only Ferguson was very happy and appreciated him when he was at Manchester United.
It makes sense for all three sides equally if you ask me. Ronaldo is a player who has been one of the best ever, not just when he played, but everyone has to agree that he is either the best ever to play this game, or second best player at the very worst case. So him requesting at least a bit of love from the fans, teammates, staff etc is something that is expected and he didn't get that from United but he is getting that respect at Al-Nassr which makes him super happy to be there.

Al-Nassr is showing that respect because they have a player like Ronaldo, 1-2 ever to play the game, so it's normal for them to be super happy, while he may not be in the best two players anymore, he had that and his fame, experience and of course the talent he still has, all bring forward a much better Al-Nassr team, that's an important aspect.

One thing to talk about is United though, he didn't get that much attention because United is not Al Nassr, they didn't need to show him that kind of love, makes no sense for them in the end, they are a big club and they want to eventually be able to win the league again, and showing respect to Ronaldo at 39 wouldn't have made sense to them, so parting ways made more sense.
There is something wrong with the way the management runs this club and that is what caused the chaos that happened at Manchester United in my opinion. These are interrelated and in the end the management is the main cause so that it spreads to the coach, players and others at this club. Players who have experienced how the management worked during its heyday will definitely feel it and it is natural when Ronaldo suddenly was in an interview and said everything he saw at Manchester United which was also the beginning of his conflict with the coach until the management peaked until he was finally fired.

Indeed it caused pros and cons when he was in the interview, some supported Ronaldo's actions because it was considered something that could build Manchester United and some rejected it because he was considered unprofessional and said things that were not right about his club so that it was considered something impolite.

Being positive is great, but let's not sugarcoat the truth. Al-Nassr's preseason is messy. It's not just preseason nerves when you see methods that don't work together and mistakes in strategy. Yes, these games are just a practice run, but you need to see some kind of plan. Now? These people seem to be winging it. And SPL is a race to get more powerful. Teams are changing and getting better. Al-Nassr? They're not moving at all. That's not good

During the preseason, you should look for flaws and fix them. Quickly. Those in charge of Al-Nassr? It looks like they're not paying attention at the wheel.  They need to wake up quickly because they are going to lose when the season starts. Dear reader, this is not a practice run. It's a shot to warn. Change or die. That's how the SPL really works
In pre-season, Al-Nassr did not get good results in every match they played. And Al-Nassr hasn't even won a single game in pre-season. Even though this is only pre-season, we can still make some assessments from their performance in pre-season. Cristiano Ronaldo didn't take part in a single pre-season match and that doesn't mean that Al-Nassr would be bad without Cristiano Ronaldo. It's just that I feel that Al-Nassr becomes more enthusiastic when playing when Cristiano Ronaldo is playing. Maybe because this legendary player is good at motivating his teammates.

Al-Nassr's weakness last season was in the back line. But now we see a second problem emerging when looking at pre-season. namely Al-Nassr's attack line doesn't look very reliable in taking advantage of opportunities. Poor accuracy is also a problem today. But I'm with the optimists when I think about al-nassr. I feel Al-nassr will continue to start the season well.

In two days Al-nassr has an important match against Al-taawoun in the semi-finals of the Saudi Super Cup. Even though it's not a big match, I think this match is suitable to test Al-Nassr's strength before the SPL starts the following week.

Despite Cristiano Ronaldo age of 39,  last season scored a whooping 44 goals for his club Al Nassr last season which included 33 league goals 31 league matches but following his goalless outing with the Portugal national team in the just concluded European Championship and the fact that he was showing signs of a man who's been caught up with age in the games he played this summer for his national team, I'm worried if the Al Nassr captain will be able to deliver another impressive performance for his club in the new season that'll kick off in 11 days from now. Do you think he'll do well this coming season or not?
Cristiano is an active player that doesn't give up and always available to deliver his team. In desperate moments, Ronaldo have turn up for this club and have become a key player for Al Nassr. They can completely not do without the player and this is recognizable to be the entire key moments for the Portugal international. Ronaldo at 39, still very competitive and even more valuable than other tender players, Ronaldo stats for his club surpass other players in the early 20s and 30s. He's entirely a different breed from the rest.
Cristiano Ronaldo is a star player and his performance is unquestionable as a football player wherever he goes he can always give his best for his club, he even seems to not feel the difficult times or decline in performance even though his age is getting older, I think he will retire because of age, not because of his performance because I think he will still be like this.

Maybe the motivation he lacks is trying to reach 1000 goals as a professional player, from what I've seen he needs about 150 goals to reach that impressive mark in official games, maybe he can do it if he plays for another 2 or 3 years, which would take his career as a professional player until he's 42, I think it's totally possible, seeing as Zé Roberto (ex-Bayern and Brazilian National Team) played until that age and continued playing very well until he ended his career.

Takefusa Kubo is hard work player because i still remember when he didn't gets any place on Real Madrid but he didn't give up although he was loaned to different teams but Takefusa Kubo has proven to the people that he can being an good player and his important step is started when Takefusa Kubo accept the offers from Sociedad because at this team people know him and he has build his reputation with very hard in Laliga and i don't think he will ruin it by moved to other clubs instead of European Club

40 million salary for year indeed this is very tempting offer but recently Takefusa Kubo has been give his statement that he was refuse that offer because Takefusa Kubo still want to continue his career in Europa and if he can playing consistent with Sociedad i think he have good chances to playing at big clubs someday and this is more good rather than moved to Saudi pro league
Takefusa Kubo is just 23 years old with he is very skilled and good player who is having good future in La Liga after having five years with top teams with his game and performance most chances he will be done good at coming years because he is having good chance of staying into playing eleven for the Real Sociedad.

In last few years, while he was under contract with Real Madrid but having spells on loan for few other clubs he is doing good job and money is never been problem for this player just because of this he already refused this huge offer from the Saudi League and preferring to stay in Spain because he is feeling he can be done better for his future during his stay here and having his contribution for the Real Sociedad.

Usually young players with having good ambitions love to stay in Europe because they feel they can learn too many things instead of having huge salary and playing conditions which are surely not suitable for them and their future even we all now things are taking good changes here at the Saudi League but still it's going to take time for having quality young players.

Real Sociedad winger Takefusa Kubo recently revealed that there was an offer from the Saudi league team but Takefuso Kubo stated that he was not interested in the offer. He also spoke further about other possibilities if one day he could come here. He feels that only money can attract him at this time and that is contrary to his desire to continue playing in the big league.

I think Takefusa Kubo still has the brakes that can make him not be reckless in determining his career because if all he is after is money then he will not have much experience on a bigger stage. Winning a prestigious trophy is certainly also on his list of achievements and considering that his journey is still far away then he has to think about what is currently available to continue to go further.

Well, maybe Takefusa Kubo can be an example for other young players not to be tempted by big money and prioritize their careers while the opportunity is still open.

What do you think about Takefusa Kubo's views? Is this a common thought? remembering some time ago Moussa Diaby also preferred to join Al-Ittihad even though he was still young.

~snip~
Al Nassr performance should be something to worry about in the pre-season? I don't think so because they're elite club and capable of accomplishing their priorities for next season. Moreover the pre-season is just a test and warmup for the second XI and opportunities orientation for the bench players. This is the moment for the coach to simply instructs the very best performance and his best XI lineup.
But at least Al Nassr must show that they are also an elite club and do their best like Al Ittihad, Al Hilal and Al Ahli did in holding pre-season matches against European clubs so that they are not underestimated, I know this is just a pre-season match and does not count as a real match but if they perform well at least the fans have high hopes for Al Nassr in the SPL competition next season especially in competing with Al Hilal, surely they do not want to experience the same thing as last season where they failed to bring home at least 1 trophy.
We can see that Al Nassr had some pretty bad preseason games, even overall they are not so popular or not so big team and this is what makes most fans feel disappointed.
I agree with you that Al Nassr should have been like some other Saudi teams who had preseason games against big European team, it can increase the experience and confidence for Al Nassr to prove that they are really ready in the SPL competition next season.
But everything has happened and nothing can be changed, basically during this preseason Al Nassr did not perform so well and they also got humiliating defeat.
If next season they only perform like this then it is certain that Al Nassr will have difficulty in competing for the championship title.

One thing I'm waiting for until now is Ronaldo can conquer the Saudi League like he did in the Europa League, by winning prestigious titles to complete his trophy collection, then he will be recorded in the history of Arab and European football.

Although Neymar was not present in the Al Hilal team, that is why Al Hilal team is at the top of the points table but they have to work hard this season. Because the players have to work hard. A hardworking one is enough to take them to the top of success.
Neymar is in Al Hilal team, dude. But he didn't play because he got injury for a long time.
Sure, every team must work hard to perform with their best. If Al Hilal could win the trophy last season, it is because they have quality players and can play consistently in the whole season. I think it is the point.  Smiley

Ronaldo is an ambitious player, he will never stop to make harder efforts. He knows he is a key player for Al Nassr, so he will always to make the best effort. Although he is already 39 years old, Ronaldo has no problem to play with his good performance. His stats last season proves that he still can maintain good performance. However, he can't do it alone, it is impossible to win the trophy if Al Nassr only relies on Ronaldo's performance.

Ronaldo gets full support from the depth of the squad built by Al Nassr, which at first glance looks like every player will prioritize Ronaldo to score goals. In my opinion, this is very reasonable, and in accordance with the purpose of the Saudi Pro League recruiting him from Manchester United. The Saudi Pro League popularity has increased since Ronaldo landed, whatever the Portuguese national team captain does will be trending, especially if Ronaldo continues to score goals every week. It must be admitted that not many players are able to survive at a level like him, it is natural that Ronaldo is considered one of the best of all time. Meanwhile, the age factor will continue to make Ronaldo physical condition decline, maybe next season his productivity will decrease, and that is understandable. The point is that Ronaldo is the spirit of Al Nassr, and also a magnet that attracts a number of European players.
