Al Nassr just secured yet another important win in the Saudi Pro League against Al Fateh. It was an important win for Al Nassr who are currently doing everything possible to catch up with league leaders Al Hilal but what was more interesting for me is that Cristiano Ronaldo was able to score his 920th career goal in that game. The Portuguese superstar is now 80 goals away from becoming the first player ever to score 1000 career goals. It'll be a
such a big milestone for the player who I consider as the greatest to have ever graced the game and I hope it becomes a reality someday.
Facing a weak team, they should have scored more goals. Even for the first half the goal created for al nassr was an own goal. Before finally in the second half, they were able to increase their lead through goals scored by M. Simakan in the 57th minute and by C. Ronaldo in the 87th minute. Although in that half al nassr had to concede one goal which made the match end with a score of 3-1.
And through that goal CR7 managed to complete his goal tally to 920 goals, getting closer to 1,000 goals. With the extension of his contract with al nassr, it is very possible for CR7 to achieve his target before he finally retires from the world of football as a player.
