We are talking about Ronaldo, who is playing in a league that is worse than league one level, definitely worse than championship level, I am not expecting that league to be premier league, nor even championship, but league one is barely there, maybe even league two, which is fourth tier of english football. Thats the league he is playing, and its obvious that he would not be playing around, he is a serious character as well. One thing I can congratulate him on is many players that went to SA ended up just not caring, they are just collecting their paycheck and resting and not caring, living their retirement already, Ronaldo didn't do that, he actually plays his best without a doubt. However, he could have scored 100 goals and I wouldn't still count them as anything.
Saying the Saudi League is worst than the league 2 is not entirely true. What are your basis for saying the league one or two are better? Don't overrate the English leagues please. Players from the premier league which is the first division of English football are going to the Saudi League, so how do explain to somebody who doesn't know football too well that the 4th division is higer than the Saudi league?
There are things to classify a better league,
Quality of football
Quality of competition
The ROI for the players, clubs, league and investors.
The quality of players in the league.
Ronaldo will never play in the championship, but he's gladly playing in Saudi.
The number of goals he score may not matter to you but it matters to his total career goals.
