But there is a detail that I think most people are missing when they are talking about Ronaldo and how many goals he scores in Saudi Arabia. I believe that most of his fans don't really care that much about the number of goals he scores in a league that is not that meaningful. None of the records he could ever set in the Saudi Professional League would be as impressive as the records he has set in Europe. Does it really matter whether he scores 30 goals or 50 goals a season when he is the record holder in the European Champions League with 17 goals in one season? Or all those other records he has, does it still impress anyone when he becomes the best scorer in Saudi Arabia?
Some people here believe that Ronaldo is determined to be the best ever in Saudi Arabia, but he is doing his job mostly for the money. If he is in such great shape and if he was after more trophies (important trophies) in his career, he would have stayed in Europe. This was a huge offer and he took it for the money, not because he thought he has to show the world how he can score goals in Saudi Arabia.
Yes the pay is quite huge but I feel he’s doing it because that’s his passion though the money is still a factor because it’s an incentive that motivates man to work and he’s determined to delivering a very good job. He tries to be the best everywhere he goes, in Europe and beyond and he’s doing that already, he's already helped Al Nassr to secure a trophy and I believe if he had gone there a season earlier, he would had probably become the all-time scorer for the club.
