This season Al Nasr performed very badly compared to the previous season. But even so, it can't be helped, in reality Al Nasr is currently like that. Even though Al Nasr has many great players in its team, if there is a lack of cooperation it will be useless. So Al Nasr now just needs to fight not to finish in a worse position this season. Because in my opinion it would be very embarrassing if Al Nasr, with its current enormous popularity, was eliminated from the top 5 positions in the Saudi Arabian League.


But apart from that, last night Al Nasr managed to win the match over Al Khalej with a score of 1-3. In this match Ronaldo was able to score 2 goals for Al Nasr and this was of course a very good thing. And with the victory achieved by Al Nasr last night, now its position is back to 3rd place. Maybe this won't take long because later Al Qadisiyah will compete against Al Orubah and I am sure Al Qadisiyah will win the match easily. It is time for the Al Nassr team management to care more about their defenders because if the defense line is still neglected, of course the Al Nassr team will always find it difficult to compete in the Saudi Pro League and also in the AFC Elite Champions League. Besides that, I also see the points gap which is quite far in the Saudi Pro League standings where Al Nassr is already eleven points behind the current leader and that will be a gap that is quite difficult for Al Nassr to reduce unless Al Hilal can suffer several defeats in the upcoming matches.

Ronaldo is aged and he's absolutely brilliant till this very top level. He ensures he score goals that provides aides for the team to move upward. Al Nassr have been in the best position to win matches and have never back down because a title is been targeted. They've all the weapons in possession to strive higher on the table. Al Nassr have Cristiano Ronaldo who's eligible and confident of banging goals for his side but this also sends a message to Al Nassr management because they're solely depending on the Portuguese to deliver in all games. What happens when Ronaldo fails to exhibits his outstanding qualities in some games?

Al Nassr working on projects that will better the team. It's simply good for the team and they should be working on their progress without the dominate hands of Ronaldo. The team needs more players, not some random players but players that have ambition of reaching their peak. If they scour the market, there are players that can deliver their best productivity for elite teams and these players always comes from average clubs.

I get that Ronaldo is at Al Nassr and everyone keeps watching them, but to be fair, I agree that they are not good at all this season, not even close. If they want to get better, they need better players, sure a 40 year old Ronaldo is still doing all he can, but he can't carry the team on his shoulders alone, they need some star power, and I do not mean like some mediocre level player, I mean like the best players they can get, otherwise this team isn't even remotely enough to be competitive at the top anymore.

And not like Ronaldo is getting younger, next season he will be a year older and there is a very solid chance that it could be his last year, so they need to really dig deep and pay a lot and get the star power they can get.

Yes, I also thought last season that Al-Nassr would be better next season, namely this season. Because this team has even brought in a new, better goalkeeper. But somehow I see that Al-nassr's defense is still not improving. I think this team's back line really needs to be overhauled. Even though this team has good defenders. But I still see they can't resonate well. Which makes Al-Nassr's defense not very solid. So the opponent can sometimes penetrate it quite easily. For Al-Nassr's attack line there is absolutely no problem. but the problem is that the team's back line is experiencing setbacks again. When Pioli first arrived we saw an improvement in Al-Nassr's back line but now it seems to be getting worse again.

Meanwhile, Al-Hilal and AL-Ittihad are both still as good as Al-ittihad, which has experienced improvement again this season after Al-Ittihad experienced a setback last season. And I am sure that the competition for the championship title will now really only be contested by Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad. Meanwhile Al-nassr will only continue to circle around in 3rd or 4th place this season.

The only question every Al Nassr fan has is why their team's performance will be poor despite having Cristiano Ronaldo in their team as well as Sadio Mané in their team.  It is natural to ask such a question because Al Hilal or Al Ittihad do not have a big star like Ronaldo but still this team is performing well and occupying the top position of the points table.
The biggest reason behind Al Hilal and Al Ittihad's good team performance is that Al Hilal and Al Ittihad have good players in every position, so that they supply the ball well from every position and the finishers can do their job well. Al Nassr is different, Al Nassr have weaknesses in midfield and defense so no matter how well the strikers try they can't really do well. Ahead of the changeover season there will have to be major changes within this team, only then will this team become the best performing team again.

They have a number of world-class forwards, such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mané and Talisca. Even the mid-field looks good, with players such as Marcelo Brozović, Otávio and Wesley. But the issue lies with the defense. It is not up to the mark, and even weaker teams are able to penetrate their defense. This problem was always there, but the team management chose to ignore it. They were focusing only in adding to their attack capability, which is already strong thanks to Ronaldo.

This season is truly turbulent for Al Nassr unlike what I expected will happen. When they finished second last season, I was thinking that they will go back to the drawing board and prepare properly for this season, closing every lapses they had last season, but it seams that did not happen because they doing worse than expected. Most of their wins happens by chance just as we saw yesterday where they conceded the first goal of the match and almost lost the match of not of the late goal scored by Ghannam and Cristiano who actually saved the day.

Well.. we can't blame the players for the injuries. That said, what Neymar did after getting injured can't be termed as professional behavior. Al Hilal wanted him to stay in Saudi Arabia during the recovery phase. But Neymar refused to do that, and flew back to Brazil to be with his family and friends. Obviously the Al Hilal management was angry, because they had spent huge amounts of money on this player. And this is going to have a negative impact on Neymar's career as a whole. Who will hire such an unreliable player?

In Al Nassr's match against Al Taawon, Al Nassr fans were a little disappointed because Al Nassr could not win because the result was a 1-1 draw. Cristiano Ronaldo played very well in this match, he scored 2 goals which of course made the fans of Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr happy, but of course in the first half I saw that Al Nassr had great difficulty scoring a goal against Al Khaleej and of course I think this must be improved by Pioli because of course if the Al Nassr players still have some difficulties, such as having difficulty penetrating the opponent's defense and not being able to take advantage of opportunities well, of course this will have a bad impact, for example when playing against a team that is stronger than Al khaleej. but of course now Al Nassr has succeeded in get 3 points from Al Khaleej and of course Al Khaleej has to admit that Al Nassr is still a strong team which of course is still difficult for them to beat and finally now Al Nassr has risen to 3rd place and this is a good thing However, Al Nassr still has to be alert because Al Qadisiyah definitely wants to take back Al Nassr's position.

Al-Nassr are decreasing in their performances and from a challenger for Saudi Professional League title, now they have to fight for a third position in the league. Chance to win Saudi Professional League title in this season is very small, and impossible. Matches in this league are like actual tests for them in tactics, players and they can consider it as preparation for a next season.

It's an emotional win for Al-Nassr as they faced with risk of losing points again. Eventually two late goals helped them winning this match, and they can temporarily get a third position in the league, before Al-Qadasiya complete their match today. It's a win but again shows weakness of Al-Nassr in defense that need to be improved in this season and next summer transfer and preseason training or friendly matches, if they want to come back to a league title competition.

Neymar did not change his lifestyle after he passed his 30-year old, and it's bad. After 30s, body becomes weaker physically and needs more time for recovery as well as lack of flexibility than younger ages. Neymar did not change, got some more injuries with one serious injury, and he will become more sensitive with injuries in future.

Al-Hilal can feel kind of release after paying a lot of money for Neymar and in return getting mass disappointment from his limited apperances and contributions.

I would prefer if Al Hilal could bring in other European players who can contribute more and make Al Hilal stronger and unbeaten in several competitions. This is a good courage for Al Hilal not to waste too much money just for a player who does not contribute anything.

Letting go of Neymar is a wise move, Al Hilal can still win trophies without his help, it has been proven last season. Neymar contract will end in June, Al Hilal can push him away from now, with a loan scheme or a permanent move. His departure will give Al Hilal room to recruit new players, and the management should have better consideration in determining the players they are targeting. I mean they should recruit players who do not have a high injury history, so that will be more beneficial for the club. That is really difficult to happen because Al Hilal appears consistently in every match they also have the mentality to become champions.

It seems the relationship with between Neymar and the fans of Al Hilal is not good at all because since he joined this team he just got money and he couldn't pay for them all while even in the games when he was not injured and he could play, he didn't have good performance at all. Now and since Neymar is out of the list of Saudi Arabia because their coach didn't put his name in the list he can't help the team but still the fans expect to see Neymar in the stadiums among the fans.

Recently he posted a photo of himself going to Padel training and this shows even the Al Hilal games are important for him and he just prefers to get money and take a rest in Saudi Arabia.
Maybe it's time for Al Hilal to think about putting this player for sale to earn money.

They are not even doing badly compared to Al Hilal, they are doing badly compared to many teams, they are not even remotely close to the top, and I disagree that they are fighting real hard for it. Like just most recent game, they got a tie, and who was it against? Al-Taawoun, 8th team in the league, obviously Al Nassr is just not good enough to be at the top, or even near the top.

I would understand if you said that last season, they were still far away from Al Hilal, and lost the league by 14 points, but at least Al Nassr was second place, and 17 points ahead of third place, so they did great but Al Hilal did even better. This season it is not even like that, Al Nassr is fourth place this year, there are two more better teams and also Al Hilal.
