Cristiano Ronaldo have been 38 years old and seems he has chance for playing with Al-Nassr about two until three years later, still have chance waiting for Lionel Messi will play for Saudi Arabia club and excited to see both top players in the world in the same competition Saudi Pro League. Seems difficult with Lionel Messi have contract left with Inter Miami and excited offering there to see he will play in Saudi Pro League, but not easy for signing Cristiano Ronaldo by MLS League because high offer payment salary from Al Nassr.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi are great players and their era is coming to an end gradually this season with both players out of the European football world. These two GOAT have dominated football over the years and they won't stop in their last aged ranges, instead they will keep pushing in for better results in matches, still a hugh surprise to watch these players surpassed the limelight of the current generation of talented kids, they don't even play up to the require standards of Ronaldo and Messi and that's exceptionally the stats of great GOATs.

Well.. that is my point. Lionel Messi may be a legend, but it is Cristiano Ronaldo who attracts the global fans. Personally I have never followed any of the matches in MLS and I haven't even visited the MLS thread here in Gambling sub-forum. However, I am a regular visitor to this thread ever since CR7 joined the Saudi Professional League (back in January 2023). And it's not just me. SPL became one of the top football leagues in the world (in terms of popularity) immediately after CR7 joined. But Messi was unable to do anything like that with the Major League Soccer (MLS). 

Although currently many talented young players are emerging. But somehow no one has been able to replace the popularity of Cristiano Ronaldo. And actually there is a reason for all of this. Because now we can see how he is 38 to 39 years old but can still be a more effective spearhead at Al-Nassr and also in the Portuguese national team. Even though in the Portuguese national team there are Felix and Bruno Fernandes. But still the two of them have not been able to surpass the old player who is already 38 years old. Therefore, we really have to respect Cristiano Ronaldo because after all he taught us many things in the world of football. The optimism that he always displays and the ambition that is also in his nature must be used as a lesson by other players if they want to develop like Cristiano Ronaldo. Mitrovic was not that familiar even for EPL fans too. i see no hype around him when he was announcing himself to join in the al nassr. Ronaldo was just helping to attract lots of old talents to the saudi pro league.

The result of the match fits with your prediction. Al Nassr still could win with big scores although there is no Talisca on the lineup. Sure, Talisca is an important player for Al Nassr. But they have other great players, so it was not a big problem although Talisca was absent. Al Nassr goes to the next round of Saudi King CUP. I hope they won't face Al Hilal in semi-final, I really hope Al Hilal will play against Al Nassr in the final round.

It is impressive that he still could score 50 goals in a year. He is 38 years old, it is not easy to maintain the good performance in scoring at that age. A player must drop significantly his speed and his endurance when he reached 38 years old. But Ronaldo still has speed and great endurance at that age. It is simply impressive.

It is still funny to me that people are talking about how many goals Ronaldo scored when the teams he is playing against are at best third division level in Europe for most nations. I am pretty sure you could take a league one team at England and put them here and would be fighting for a title, be better than most teams. He managed to score bunch of goals against low level teams here, and when he played against Al Hilal he was nowhere to be found and didn't even take any decent shots.

Because, he is not the player you think he is. I get that 50 goals is great, but how many of them were scored against teams that were actually good? Most of the teams he played against wouldn't even be ranked top 1000 let alone anything better.

However, maybe I personally remain pessimistic that the Saudi Pro League will be as good as it is now if later Ronaldo leaves or retires. Because ya, I think even though there are still other European stars playing in the Saudi Pro League, but if Ronaldo is no longer here then maybe the Saudi Pro League rating will also decline. At least for now I believe that reason but ya, we will never know what other big steps the Saudi Pro League will make later.

In less than 12 months, we have dozens of active users who are posting on this thread and it has always remained in the first page of the sub-forum. And a lot of credit goes to Cristiano Ronaldo. He was the one who made SPL famous across the globe. Now they have superstars such as Aleksandar Mitrović, Sadio Mané and Karim Benzema playing in the league, but CR7 was the one who started it.

The only worthy competitor for him is mitrovic from al hilal. I have not seen benzema as one who can compete with him. Mitrovic is always  consistent like ronaldo. Yet mitrovic is a bit yonger than him but seeing those people are always scoring makes me feel amaze with them all. Ronaldo is a really hardworking guy. He does everything to make sure he will able to play with very good condition on his age. We have seen that so many EPL players are having fat bodies at this age.
