After losing their first two Saudi Pro League matches of the season, Al Nassr needed that win to regain the support of the club fans who were already thrown in to doubt on wether the club is ever gonna have a good season despite huge finances that was invested by the club management to sign European based players and they convincingly won the game in clinical fashion.
Cristiano Ronaldo once again has shown that despite his current age he still got all it takes to deliver incredible performances by scoring his 68th career hatrick last night. What a player
It would be really bad to to watch Al Nassr losing, probably not after they have signed these European players. Al Nassr revived the hope of their supporters when they thrashed their opponents. It was an easy game for the Knights of Najd, making every opportunities succeeding to grab a goal in the game. Winning their last game, 5 nil with a magnificent hattrick from Cristiano Ronaldo and a brace from Sadio Mané. Ronaldo got fire in him and anytime he unleashed his strength toward an attempt, he stands 80% of scoring a goal, while receiving an assits from his new teammates, Sadio Mané .
Ronaldo and Mane seem to be starting to understand how to play each other. Mane was able to provide an assist for Ronaldo and the balls Mane gave him were what he had always wanted. even in the previous season, Ronaldo had a little trouble because he did not get the support he wanted. especially now that there is competition from Benzema who is also enlivening the competition in the Saudi League. this gives Ronaldo its own competitiveness, and with the support of Mane, I think both of them will be even more productive.

Another reason could be Al-Hilal being worth 258 million (200 without Neymar) and Al-Ettifaq being worth less than 50 million euro? That seems like 5 times (4 times without Neymar) bigger club to win the game and I believe that's quite understandable.

I still wouldn't give them 1.18 to be fair because we have seen in European competitions just recently that teams with much lower valuation could still get a draw or a win, and that's why it's difficult to say if it's 1.18 worthy or not, but I would totally give them 1.40 without a doubt, that is exactly what I thought it would be before the odds were clear, because 1.40 means clear winner and they are clear favorites without a doubt. They will win this game one way or another.

For where did you got these valuations? Al Hilal is worth just €258 million? This might have been the case in 2020 or 2021, when they were having mostly Saudi players in their squad. The current valuation should be upwards of a billion Euros. A few months back, Paris Saint-Germain was valued at €3.2 billion. Manchester United is valued at $6 billion as of March 2023 by Forbes. Compared to these figures, I simply don't think that the numbers you have given for Al Hilal is closer to reality. Please check the source again, to see whether they are precise.
he may be getting such numbers from this https://www.transfermarkt.com/al-hilal-riad/marktwertanalyse/verein/1114

It's based on the market value and it's not the actual value. I meant the market value can't be considered as a reliable data to determine the actual price from the players. I do agree with you if it must be more than it.

Bono was valued only around €12 millions which is far less compared with what al hilal paid for him to the sevilla which was around €21 millions.

despite the victory of al - nassr in his game yesterday against al fateh, still in the table things are not well for al - nassr who has only 3 points against 9 points of his biggest rival, that means that al - nassr will need to pray that their opponent loses in 3 games and al - nassr wins in 3 games to be able to stay ahead of their biggest rival, and this season there are more teams that made big investments in new players and coach, so they only have 3 points is not a good thing, al - nassr will need to win in all the games they play ahead if they want to be champions this season

al - hilal plays tomorrow and probably without neymar, i say probably because i don't know, i haven't been to see news about this game yet, but look at the quick forecast without doing much analysis, i see it won't be an easy game, i say that because your opponent in the last 3 games they have not lost in any game, they will come into this game with a draw in their last game, so I will not be surprised if this game also has a draw, without neymar and jorge jesus will have to rely on available players, still not enough to win the league this season. something I can't understand is why al - hilal didn't make many signings and preferred to spend a lot of money with neymar

they could have managed to hire a lot of good players, they had the money for that, but strangely they didn't do that but they focused on bringing a very expensive player who is always injured, I don't honestly know what is the goal of al hilal in this and other seasons here forward, but if they think about winning the league with this squad, then I doubt very much that they will be able to do that, we will see in tomorrow's game how they will do, in my opinion it will be a very difficult game for them and a draw is the most likely to happen

I don't agree with you comparing these two teams with the money they spent, we know a team like Al Hilal may have spent more in this transfer window or even Al Ettifaq spent more than this team but still, this can't be the reason to say teams should win or lose just because they of the money they spent in this summer. There are many teams that spend more money but in the end, they don't get good results.
I think the wise move is to check the past results of both teams instead of the money they spent.

Of course they have to win in today's match to end the bad streak of the previous two matches which ended in defeat. This victory certainly raised Al Nassr ranking on the standings because previously they were at the bottom of the standings. This victory was also very special for Ronaldo because he was able to score a hat trick and end a bad streak in the last two matches.

So, we also saw Sadio Mane who found his best form in this match because he opened the first goal in this match. Al fateh couldn't do much in this match because the opponents they faced were filled with top European players. I think Al Nassr will slowly return to the top of the standings and catch up on points from Al Ittihad.

I am more impressed with the way the European signings are the ones making a change in their various clubs when playing against their opponents. Ronaldo has been doing great for Al-Nassr and tried to improve the team and make them move up the standings to fight for the league title. The addition of Mane to the team cannot be overlooked as he has brought some significant changes to the attack of the club which is what they need at the moment. Good gameplay for Al-Nassr and I would say they deserved the win today with all honesty.
The European clubs were the biggest market for the Saudi clubs and since the ARAB clubs tournaments have gained traction lately a lot of money was spent on acquiring new players and the result of that is what we are seeing,  just like you mentioned,  Eaoruoean players that we're signed I to those Arabs clubs are indeed changing the face of the Saudi Arabia professional leagues in this season,  at least the competition is becoming more enjoyable and gaining traction with time.

Christina Ronaldo is one player who will always make a big positive change in any club he is playing for,  Al-Nassr went for him because they knew of his capacity to turn things around for the club while he spent his contract time with the club.

I have noticed that if the odds for al hilal are very small. I understand how al hilal is far superior compare dwith ettifaq but the odds like said if ettifaq had almost zero chance to win. Al hilal already got great result against raet but it would not be stopping there.
Neymar may not able to start his debut with al hilal soon. We will miss him. The club is still having mitrokovic as a key player to win against ettifaq.

If Neymar is not playing (not sure when he is going to join the squad), then why the odds are so high? I agree that they have world class players such as Sergej Milinković-Savić, Aleksandar Mitrović, Malcom and Michael. But Hilal's odds being 10 times better than Al Ettifaq is difficult to fathom. One reason maybe recent form of Al Hilal. They had a terrific match against Al Raed, in which they won by 4-0. And before that they destroyed Abha by a margin of 3-1. Only disappointment was the draw versus Al Feiha.

As Jorge Jesus said, if Al Hilal can only make his Neymar debut in mid-September. however, it is possible that it could be faster than that. referring to what you said, it is very natural that Al Hilal has a high probability. because after all, these two teams are different levels. Al Hilal is the top team in this competition, while Al Ettifaq is a mediocre team. well, let's refer to the H2H meeting of these two teams. from the meetings of these two teams, Al Hilal always dominated the victory than Al Ettifaq. it would be very reasonable, if Al Hilal is far more favored.
other than that, let's refer to the Al Hilal line-up. referring to Jorge Jesus, it seems he prefers the 4-2-3-1 system pattern. for the pivot, Al Hilal has Ruben Neves and his partner is Sergej Savic even though he was suspended for a red card against Al Raed. on the front lines, there are Al Dawsari, Malcon and Michael. This player, has quality when compared to the opposing team. for forward attackers, Al Hilal has Mitrovic. at least this team is quite competitive especially if Neymar has already made his debut.

Instead, we review from Al Ettifaq's side. since this team was under the tutelage of Steven Gerrard, Al Ettifaq had a pretty good match. in 3 matches, they won 2 of them and a draw. however, materially the players in Steven Gerrad's squad are below his opposing team Al Hilal. the only player who has a big name is Hederson, the rest are dominated by local players. as for players from outside, they are not very famous except for Moussa Dembelle. even then, he is not a big star. this match will be played at the Al Hilal headquarters, it is fitting that the home team is more favourite. So now the question is, can Steven Gerrard be able to keep up with Al Hilal's squad in the match, it's interesting for us to follow.

Another Hattrick from Cristiano Ronaldo, yes, but he still make poorer goals than ever, he is only touching to net more and more, not more great goals, i know he is 38 but i dont get how fans overhype this goals on a B class league.

Intend to exaggerate his goals, but with his age which is currently 38 years it is a good achievement for him. After all, who said that the SPL is a class B league? there are a lot of star players there at the moment, and FYI, Al-Nassr won with 5 goals (2 of his goals were scored by Sadio Mane who is a former Bayern Munich and Liverpool player).
This is an individual achievement for Ronaldo, he can score a hattrick at the age of 38 years. Another fact is that Al Nassr is still behind in 10th place on the standings board for now, 6 points difference with Al Ittihad and Al Ahli. The match against Al Fateh was Al Nassr's first win in the SPL this season, next they will meet Al Shahab on August 30.

I think Al Nassr really needs a reliable playmaker to be able to keep up the rhythm of the game, and of course be able to supply the ball well for Ronaldo and Mane.

The answer to the question of who is the greatest between is becoming more complicated. The match was an easy win in the sense that Al Fateh was no match for Al Nassr. But Ronaldo has proved once again that he is indeed arguably the greatest of all time. He has started to enjoy his stay in Saudi due to the addition of more good players. His hat trick and Mane's brace were more than enough to give the club the maximum three points. Gradually Mane will forget all his struggles in Bayern Munich.

Al Nassr had a very poor start to the current season. They lost their first two matches, which proves that simply adding star players to their lineup is not going to reflect on their performances, unless the team bonding is good. But yesterday's performance was really good. Both Sadio Mané and Cristiano Ronaldo scored 5 goals in between them. I didn't watched the match, but looking at the scoreline it looks to me that they have successfully managed to put the ghost of the first two matches well behind them.
Well, here is my take on Al Nassr's situation: Is it not true that football is not all about famous names? Having stars like Ronaldo and Mané does not guarantee immediate success. They've been adding participants left and right, and it feels as if the shuffle will never end! Every other day in training, Im sure even the athletes are asking, "Who is that?" However, their most recent game? Boom! Did Ronaldo and Mané score these goals? Quite impressive, if you ask me. I didnt watch the game, but five goals? This is not a simple task. I do think they need to gel together. Give it a few more matches, and allow the participants to determine their preferred pizza toppings and video games, and things may just come together

I don't underrate SPL, it's competitive as the European football competition. He nets an hattrick in their prevuous game, hattricks are nothing new for the Portugal international; he's the best in the SPL and has no competition over there. Cristiano Ronaldo, 38, continues to smash banging records in the Saudi Pro League. There's a lot to learn from football's GOAT. He got everything he deserved today by determination, and there's no turning back; he's ascending up the ranks, and there's no stopping him from breaking more records.

Somehow I just noticed today that Neymar is injured again... oh... the Saudis still don't understand who they're messing with  Grin

Neymar is really like a joke. When Neymar was injured in the competitive leagues of Europe, it was a bit understandable, but now I see the same thing in the Saudi Professional League. Fortunately, he has a contract that allows him to earn money by sharing stories on his Instagram account. Now I understand better why this clause in his contract is there. Cheesy

This season the teams in the Saudi Professional League have made some very good signings. There are many good teams. But I think Al-Ahli's signings this season are better. I think this team can play for the league title if their new signings catch a good harmony.

The most paradoxical/unpleasant/funny thing is that he got injured before he played for his new club even for one minute. I think he keeps his salary even when he's injured, but he'll definitely have more time on instagram where he'll get half a million for a single post promoting local football. I hope the Saudis initially understood that they were making an image purchase and were not very upset.

So we are about to see top stars compete with each other. Specifically, Al-Nassr is pioneering to create resonance for the Saudi Arabian National Championship when bringing back world superstar Ronaldo. The defending champion Al-Ittihad has Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante. Al-Hilal also immediately had an answer when bringing Neymar back. I'm looking forward to their match. We can't miss it. The Saudi Arabian Federation knows how to attract viewers to its tournament.
The three clubs will dominate the game in the Saudi League and the competition between the three can also be very fierce to fight for the title, seeing the development and progress of Al Nassr and Al Hilal will make it difficult for Al Al-Ittihad to become the defending champion again.
I'm sure this season the Saudi League will have a new champion between Al Hilal or Al Nassr.
Even though they have great and top players in Europe, one player alone can never make a club the strongest because the strength of a club depends on all the players in it whether they can play with good collaboration and good teamwork.

Last year's SPL trophy was a favorite for Al Nasser because then the most popular and star player in SPL was Cristiano Ronaldo and it belonged to Al Nasser. But it cannot be said with certainty which team will be the champion in this year's SPL grand event with star players. Karim Benzema at Al Ittihad, Neymar Jr at Al Hilal, Sadio Mane and CR7 at Al Nasser will always be desperate to qualify for their respective clubs. So it is not possible to say for sure which team will win the SPL this year. However, considering the star players, Al Nass is far ahead of other clubs.
These three teams already known as strong teams in Saudi Professional League, but I think they will not become a champions because Al Ahli is really a black horse since there are so many European players in this team.

Al Hilal and Al Ittihad are still stable, but Al Nassr isn't, they only won one match.

Al Ahli is more rounded, their goalkeeper is also an European player.
Overall, we cannot fully ensure that the favorite club will win the championship at the end of the season, because the transfer market has not yet closed. Some clubs in the SPL are very likely to recruit new players in the remaining time to add depth to the squad. Al Nassr, Al Ittihad, Al Ahli, Al Hilal and Al Ettifaq are included in the list of the strongest teams because they have European star players, but this is not a guarantee in my opinion.

So far only Al Ittihad and Al Ahli have been able to win three matches and gain full points since the season started, and the two clubs are currently at the top of the standings. Meanwhile, top scorer Abderazak Hamdallah sits in first place with 4 goals so far, followed by Fermino, Malcom, Mane and Ronaldo with 3 goals each.
Actually we can't be too fast to make sure who will get the title in this pro saudi league because this is only the third week and there are still many changes that will happen if you remember that the transfer market is still active and also here I will not side with any club but even though Al-Hilal has better quality players but we will never know what will happen next at the club but what is certain is that the top club you mentioned will compete consistently for the top of the standings at the end of this season.
I think the end of the season will be more interesting if Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr will compete for the top spot in the pro saudi league standings.

impressive performance by Al Nassr when they hosted Al Fateh and humiliated the hosts with a score of 0-5 and this score was obtained by reliable players Mane and Ronaldo who proved that they could get up even though the previous two matches failed to win the match.
there are some things that are a little funny when the goalkeeper of Al Fateh seems to have no enthusiasm when playing against Al Nassr or maybe the performance of the goalkeeper Al Fateh is really bad when he blocks the ball, he always fails and lacks confidence and even carelessly leaves the goal too far. I do not know what the goalkeeper is going through but I'm sure coach Al Fateh will be very angry with the goalkeeper appearance.
even though Al Fateh also had the opportunity to score several times but it would be a shame if the opportunity was not used perfectly.

I am very proud and feel lucky to bet on Al Nassr today because it was an extraordinary performance when Ronaldo and Mane worked together to produce a fantastic score.
Now also that two players (Ronaldo and handsome man Sadio Mane) have the same score on the top scorer board, they have 3 goal scores for a while and there is still a possibility that they both can still get another score in the upcoming matches. But at the moment I'm happy about Handsome man Sadio Mane, he is already able to adaptation very well with team Al Nassr. The Goalkeeper Al Fateh (Jacob Rinne) very depressed in that match, he was really panicked because their defense was continuously pressure by Al Nassr players.

Another day, another record for Cristiano Ronaldo. In Al-Nassr's big win against Al-Fateh, he scored another hat trick and this is the 63rd hat trick during his career in football. This is also the first win for Al-Nassr for this season after the previous two matches in the Saudi league competition they had to lose. Ronaldo is getting more confident and he also contributed one great assist for Sadio Mane's goal in this match. Sadio Mane is also getting sharper by scoring a brace and I think the duet of the two will get even stronger in the next match. Ronaldo never seems tired of surprising people and at 38 he can still do incredible things.
The ability to still deliver great performances and scoring hatrick when a player is above 38 is very rare in modern day football but to Cristiano Ronaldo, it's a normal thing The Portuguese superstar is just an alien who's not gonna be tired from football until he clocks 40 and beyond.
Sadio Mane on the other hand had a very good and scored a brilliant brace for himself to further boost his confidence level and that I think is very good for his personal improvement after leaving Bayern Munich this summer. It is Al Nassr's first league win of the season and a good result for the club.
