Retiring and becoming a coach is the right choice I think, his contract will end on 30 June 2025 and Ronaldo will be 40 years old. The impact and influence exerted by him has been proven, I think Ronaldo is more influential in the media than Leonel Messi.

Reportedly Ronaldo once made a statement that he would spend the rest of his time at Sporting, where he grew up in football. I think he will retire there, this is also not ruled out.
It would be a good option for any professional footballer and I also hope that Ronaldo will take this opportunity when he retires. If you look at Ronaldo's way of taking care of his fitness, it is not impossible that at the age of 40 he can still play in the Saudi Arabian league because this league does not really need speed. On the other hand the option as you mentioned is also likely to occur because Sporting Lisbon is a club that has a big role in making Ronaldo's career and this is where Ronaldo's career started to become the world football star he is now.

Speculation about Ronaldo's future after his contract expires is still quite wild and before he decided to move to Saudi Arabia not many parties predicted this for various reasons. So let's wait and see what steps Ronaldo will take after his contract ends at Al-Nassr because there are still a few more seasons for him to stay or take steps to retire.
I think cristiano ronaldo will retire from saudi arabia league. Because I don't see any chance of coming to any European club with the performance of Cristiano Ronaldo. Also, the Saudi league will become very competitive within a few seasons.

Yeah, bringing Ronaldo opened the flood gates of soon to retire stars who are eager to join and make money. Nothing wrong with that.

But I guess it will only be a matter of time to know if their strategy worked well, or if this is China all over again.

I think it would also be strategic for them to start attracting young talent from the region, much like Portugal does with South American players.
Just yesterday I was speaking with a young footballer in my area and he was telling me of his plans for next year. He said he was saving money to continue his career outside my country because our league is not attractive. He began to mention the leagues he aspired to play and I was shocked that after he mentioned three European leagues he mentioned the Saudi Professional League. When I asked him his reason he told me about his respect for Ronaldo.

Ronaldo and other key players are giving the SPL the needed publicity but it is up to the management of the league to maximize the opportunity to build the league and attract investors. Government funding of the league will not last long especially if there is there are economic problems. The league needs to grow and become self-sustaining. I hope the pay of other average players is also high. If the clubs keep paying these star players big wages and other players receive peanuts, the league will not develop. If they are no careful the league will end up like the highly hyped Chinese league.

Do you guys think this league will outlive this surge of players? They are all old and most of them will retire within 5 years.

Would you watch this league once Ronaldo and Neymar weren't playing there? I'm watching the MLS only because of Messi, if he misses a game I'm instantly disinterested.
I think the league will continue to flourish even after the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, Karim Benzema, Neymar, Firmino, Henderson and other top former European based players retires from the league and that's because of the fact that the league must have gained the global recognition in the few years these stars where be delivering their best for their respective Saudi clubs.
I think more European based players will certainly join the Saudi League in the nearest future

Messi fans are just pained to see how because of Ronaldo big stars are joining the Saudi Arabia league  from Euro and no one is going to MLS for Messi. No need of comparing the Saudi Arabia league with the China approach, in China there was no Ronaldo today the Saudi Arabia has Ronaldo and so many tv stations has gotten licence to show the league unlike china. Saudi Arabia league has come to stay, even if Ronald retired it will still continue. No need to panic

Al Ittihad has been quite active in the transfer market, signed Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante so far this summer. Now, there's a desire from Al-Ittihad to bring in Mohamed Salah, but can they actually make it happen? Salah is considered as a Liverpool legend, and he's still got the skills for top-level European competition.

Of course, money has its power, who can deny that? If Saudi offers around €300 million, it'll be difficult for Liverpool turn it down, also it's hard to imagine player himself rejecting such wages.
We are talking about an offer of €170m or something close to that for Liverpool alone. There is nothing official but that is what rumors are saying. At the same time, even if Mohamed Salah seemed interested in this offer and the money that he will get from it, ~€950m in 5 years? Not sure. Liverpool and especially Klopp response will be no. Klopp already refuse any talking about this subject.

Some already know about the drama at Al Ittihad regarding Karim Benzema with Nuno Espírito Santo Al Ittihad coach, the loss of harmony with Benzema made Benzema want to decide on his move from Al Ittihad, due to Benzema's incompatibility with the scheme proposed by the Al Ittihad coach, making it difficult for Benzema to give victory and goals for Al Ittihad, this is what makes Benzema uncomfortable and this doesn't last long at Al Ittihad, true or not but the rumors have spread outside and have even spread to the European media, I don't know who will leave Al Ittihad, Benzema or Precisely Nuno Espírito Santo, the coach who resigned from Al Ittihad..

Well.. this is just ego clash. Nuno Espirito Santo expects the players to dance to his whims and fancies and obviously Karim Benzema doesn't want to do that. Santo wants Benzema to change his tactics, so it is easier for him to manage the squad. My advice to Al Ittihad would be to sack Santo instead and get a quality manager from somewhere else. Whatever Al Ittihad had achieved during the last season was mainly thanks to its players such as Abderrazak Hamdallah, Romarinho and Igor Coronado. What was the contribution from Santo in this?
Your view of the situation is quite well expressed. Nuno Espirito Santo and Karim Benzema may have a different perspective on team strategy and tactics. Indeed, the team's success in the previous season could not be separated from the contribution of mainstay players such as Abderrazak Hamdallah, Romarinho and Igor Coronado. However, it is also important to recognize that the manager's role in building a positive team atmosphere, managing player strengths and designing the right tactics can also have an important impact on team performance.

Regarding your suggestion to Al Ittihad to sack Santo and look for a new manager, that could be a move that might be considered if there is an insurmountable gap between the manager's vision and the player's expectations. However, this decision must be considered carefully, considering the long-term impact on the stability of the team.

Saudi teams are signing really good players from Europe one by one. This time the most speculated name is Mohamed Salah. Al-Ittihad have already made an offer but it was rejected by Liverpool in a short time. It won't be easy to convince Liverpool for this transfer even if they do that for the player. But I doubt Salah would like to leave this season. I think he is just concentrated on his game with Liverpool this season. At least for one more season he might want to fight for Liverpool's success.

After that there might be an agreement to be made between Liverpool and Salah to let him sign for a Saudi team.
Yes, a lot of these rumors. But I hope he won't go to Saudi Arabia just for money. He is still very good playing in Europe. Al Ittihad appear ready to pay Salah from Liverpool £100m. They also offered Salah a salary of £200m per season. Fantastic value.
Actually, I am quite worried about the courage of the Saudi Arabian clubs. They have the courage to give a very fantastic salary, this is like it will have an effect on Europe. Like the salary of players who are likely to be higher, because the owners of European clubs will not be willing for them to leave.

I already know information about the harmony between Karim Benzema and Nuno at Al Ittihad and I immediately laughed reading this because I believe this situation will later spread to other clubs who are now spending huge amounts of money to bring in great players who play in Europe's top leagues.
I did not include related sources because there has been a lot of media reporting on the breakdown of their relationship. There was even news that Nuno said that Benzema did not suit the character he coached so that the captain's armband was not given to this Ballon d'Or winner as written by MARCA.

I don't know who will leave Al Ittihad, Benzema or Precisely Nuno Espírito Santo, the coach who resigned from Al Ittihad..
For business, Benzema will be retained because Benzema can bring in profits while Nuno is not a figure that can interest Saudi Professional League football fans.
After reading some of the replies I became curious and looked into the news of the conflict and I can see that the conflict between Benzema and coach Al-Ittihad is a normal problem when new players and coaches try to reconcile their adaptations but unfortunately they disagree.
Differences of opinion like this are very normal and almost all clubs have experienced this problem, it's just that the news in the media exaggerates the news so that it looks like the problem is very big, even though problems like this can be resolved slowly and will definitely be fine.
I see that Benzema was also fine in the match when he was able to score a goal and this has proven that Benzema actually has an important role at Al-Ittihad so that both parties will be fine in the future.

Benzema us another easy going and calm football even no on the pitch this is not a big case this something that can be solved amicably between themselves I see no reason why such news should be everywhere unless they have plans getting that coach fired from his job in the next few days ahead.
Watching the way they play on the field over that league is not something I do always. To an extent I don't appreciate young players you haven't well and fully developed to leave for the Saudi's.

Many famous stars have entered the Saudi Pro League, all of whom refused at first, but later came to Saudi. I think Mohamed Salah will definitely accept this offer later because the current time is linked with a fight with Liverpool. I have seen Mohamed Salah perform well at Liverpool too but won't let the player go this season. Because all the stars are now more inclined towards the Saudi League, because at the end of their career, they must accept this offer from Saudi.

Basically, Salah is still under contract at Liverpool until 2025 and also, Salah is currently 31 years old. Therefore, it will be very possible for Salah to play in the Saudi Pro League in the future, considering that if the player has aged like that, then at least it is a close age to retire. But yes, because at this moment some clubs playing in the Saudi Pro League are willing to pay expensive to old players, then I personally really believe that in the end Salah will join. But yes, not for this season and also not for next season, because maybe Salah will honor his contract at Liverpool until it runs out.

btw, I was a little disappointed with Al Ettifaq performance when playing at home without being able to get an additional score in the second half and even though the multi bet I chose all won and Al Ettifaq made me very disappointed.

Actually, if I wanted to do a multibet in that match, I would skip the Al-Ettifaq match because the depth of the European players' squad is still far behind from the other three teams. But I also don't think that Al-Ettifaq will end in a draw against Al-Khaleej and Steven Gerrard's squad should have won this match. I'm sorry about the result of your bet, but you can't give up because there will still be another exciting match. Even though I didn't bet on all the matches yesterday, when I see Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal I feel happy too because they are increasingly consistent with big wins.

When they are old and start to lose their positions in their clubs, no reasons to refuse such very good offers from Saudi Arabia. Mohamed Salah will move there if those local clubs continue to pay such salary for star players from Europe.

Mo Salah still is an important player at Liverpool and perhaps he still wants to win another Champions League with them. After winning one more Champions League, I think Mo Salah will be ready to leave Europe and Saudi Arabia will be one of best destinations for him.

We are unknown about future of Saudi Professional League and transfer strategies of those clubs. No guarantee that they will continue to pay such high salary next three or five years. All latest contracts with star players from Europe are not long one and usually two or three years.

I do agree that it is going to be a bit of a difficult situation for Al-nassr because they spent a lot of money but also other clubs got some great players and spent a lot of money as well. In a case, where you spent a lot of money and still lost, people will be all over you telling how the club sucks even with all that money spent, but the reality is that it is normal and we shouldn't really judge them and it should not be a big deal, because other clubs are not some terrible clubs neither.

Look at all the other clubs in Saudi league, so many of them got so many great players, which means that if Al-Nassr ends up losing the title this year (which looks likely) then it is not a shocker, and it should be considered normal.
The Al-Nassr throwing money around? Great move. Despite their wealth, they look out of place in a league that changes so frequently. Like Al Hilal, other teams are spending a lot on Neymar and other big stars. Actually! When these stars are absent, Al-Nassr can't win at home. I almost find it humorous

Say something about their defense? They still conceded goals every game after signing Laport. AFC playoff game? They showed some potential, but I won't get my hopes up. Not winning the crown this year shouldn't surprise me or anyone else. No big deal for them

Al Nasr is a good team but the players they usually buy are not in good form for example they bought Ronaldo while he is far from the Ronaldo we knew and there is the same story about Sadio Mane who is not the same Sadio Mne we saw in Liverpool, also the players they bought are usually old and at end of their career which can be a reason to say we can't expect too much from Al Nasr players.
They were usually buying forwards in the past but buying Aymeric Laporte can be a good sign to say they are going to have a strong defensive line.

Lol player is bigger than the manager Cheesy

But I also agree with your opinion, I believe Al Ittihad will sack the manager since their manager is a nothing, unlike Benzema which is a star player and have a lot fans. Saudi Arabia want to popularized their football league even though they need to sacrifice their mainland people and the money they've spent.

Al Fateh vs Al Nassr

I am not really sure what happend to Al Nassr because after they can gets Arab Club Champions Cup 2023 trophy seems Al Nassr cannot able to bounce back and so far at Saudi Pro League they gets 2 consecutive lose and the latest is from Al Taawon with scores 2-0 and besides that Cristiano Ronaldo also still unable reach to his top performance because after being an top scorer at Arab Club Champions Cup 2023 tournament until now Ronaldo still unable to scores

This is good opportunity for Al Nassr to used this match to bounce back because according to the meetings statistics Al Nassr has unbeatable status from Al Fateh in the last 5 matches even last season Al Nassr can able to win from Al Fateh with huge scores 3-0 so if Al Nassr can able to performing well i think beat Al Fateh is not hard task for them
