Al Ittihad's performance is actually good this season, but they couldn't do much when facing AL Hilal so they had to suffer defeat. If only they didn't meet Al Hilal quickly then I'm sure they would be an undefeated club and with a perfect victory apart from AL Hilal until this week. This week they managed to win when facing Al Qadsiyah, so they can still be solid in the runner-up position. Again and again, AL Hilal is a challenge for the club in the Saudi Pro League. Al Ittihad must maintain their current performance, and when the opportunity arises they must take advantage of it well, I mean when AL Hilal slips they must be able to take advantage of it.
Al Ittihad have won all but one of the 7 league games they've played so far in the Saudi Pro League and that I think is a great feat from the team who are just three points behind league leaders Al Hilal. Al Ittihad defeat in the hands of the defending champions Al Hilal earlier this season didn't come as a surprise to me because the latter have been more convincing with their performances. But despite that defeat, Al Ittihad have been able to remain as the strongest contenders to Al Hilal in the fight to win the league this season and if they can continue with their current performance, maybe, they might overtake Al Hilal and win the league title at the end

After Al Ittihad signed some top European players, their performance changed instantly in this season. However, those new players need time to adapt, it is different with Al Hilal players. Al Ittihad is still not in the same level with Al Hilal, but I think Al Ittihad will be more competitive as time passes. In the next meeting against Al Hilal, I think it will be more interesting. I am sure, Al Ittihad will have higher chance to get points.

Yes, if Al Ittihad didn't meet Al Hilal every early in this season, Al Ittihad may be undefeated and stay in the top of SPL standings.

This week they managed to win when facing Al Qadsiyah, so they can still be solid in the runner-up position. Again and again, AL Hilal is a challenge for the club in the Saudi Pro League.
If you look at the stats, Al Qadsiyah actually made more opportunities to score goals. But Al Ittihad played more effectively and has better quality players. Al Ittihad could score 3 goals although they have the same shots on target with Al Qadsiyah. This indicates that Al Ittihad players have greater accuracy in shooting. Well, I also assume that Al Ittihad will keep joining the race for the title until the end of the season. They will probably finish in the top 3 at least.

that's right, if Al Ittihad were able to avoid defeat when facing Al Hilal in week 4 yesterday, then it is clear that the two teams will currently lead the standings with the same points. So far, actually since last season, no Saudi Pro League contestant has been able to beat Al Hilal, they are too tough to beat even without Neymar.
Al Ittihad certainly has the opportunity to rise to first place, but they must not lose any more points while hoping that there is a team that can block Al Hilal steps. The expected competition has not happened, we want to see the Saudi Pro League trophy fight become more competitive, as PIF goal is to spend a large budget to build and improve the quality of the League.
Maybe in week 9, Al Nassr will be able to make Al Hilal lose, although the opportunity is relatively low.

In fact, one reason to say Ronaldo is still a gem for Al Nassr is not just because of his performance but that's mostly because Ronaldo is the main reason for many other players joining this team and he is much more than a normal player for Al Nassr. Ronaldo regardless of his age is still performing well and he is much better than many younger players which is a lot for his team.
However, regardless of his performance, I think they should try to fill his place in the team because he is really about to end his career there and maybe he will do that during this season.

It is undeniable that Ronaldo is a player who paved the way for teams in the Saudi Pro League to more easily bring in famous players who previously played in Europe. After Ronaldo joined Al Nassr, many other players also joined teams from the Saudi Pro League. Apart from that, what I see from Ronaldo is that he can transmit his mentality and hard work to other players, because we know that he is one of the players who has a very good mentality and that is very good for a team. Although he has not been able to help present a title for AL Nassr, his presence is very much felt in this team.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a 97th minute winner goal to hand his Al Nassr team all three points in their away game against Al Shabab tonight. After Aymeric Laporte opened the scoreboard with a goal in the 69th minute, the away team was somehow controlling the game till the last minute of normal time when the host got an equalizer which made many think it was going to end in stalemate but Cristiano Ronaldo was able to step up and score a wonderful goal in the dying minutes.
The Portuguese superstar have now been able to record 55 goals in 54 appearances for Al Nassr. To think he's doing all these numbers at 39 tells how super of a human he is

Al Nassr are happy to have Cristiano Ronaldo in the club, his presence along have trigger a win win situation for the club, having streak winnings in matches and lifting major trophies, the Knights of Najd do need to award this big name in the club, because he made everything possible and accomplished. Saudi Pro League is now classified as one if the top competitive league because of just the presence of one man, he's Cristiano Ronaldo. He's the main player in SPL.

Cristiano Ronaldo is unstoppable this season, having the momentum and ambition to reach 1000 goals milestone, is definitely no coincidence for the Portugal international. Ronaldo is  on fire, always creating and breaking records in football. Ronaldo have made everyone understand the facts that he played for different major leagues and still outshines every oppositions. There’s actually nobody like Cristiano Ronaldo, he’s rare gem in his path and will always be the best among the best. I admired this player so much, he's favorite for everyone.

Do you guys think Ronaldo will continue until he hits that 1000 goal mark? I mean he scores roughly one goal per game on average and we are seeing him be a little worse with time so that means he will get worse of course. He can score in the league, and the cup, and that Asian competition they have, and even maybe with Portugal as well. That means he get to play somewhere between 30 to 40 games a year on average, and he could score about 30 goals a year with that in mind, meaning he needs about 3 more seasons. He will score this season, next season and year after that, so he would be about 42 years old or so when he retires if keeps this going.
Not sure if he will score 1000 goals. He is getting older, the chance to score many goals will be declining every time. Even he will play until the next 3 years, I'm not sure if he will consistently score goal as productive as now. He also may get injured more often due to the decrease of his physical strength. And we don't know if he is possible to play in Portugal national team when he is above 40 years old.

Obviously his goals at Saudi league is not even half worth of what he did with Real Madrid, but he is still playing at an official league and not like some Sunday league so it counts.
Sure. His goal stats is no longer as well as he ever made in Real Madrid. He plays with Al Nassr with lower quality of squad. We can't expect that Ronaldo will score as many as possible. Unless Al Nassr will sign a new creative midfielder, I am not sure Ronaldo will be the top scorer in SPL anymore.

After today we saw the performance of the top teams, tomorrow we will see the performance of the lower teams in the standings and I have a prediction.

  • Al Fateh vs Al Khlood (Al Khlood win)
  • Al Akhdood vs Al Riyadh (BTTS)
  • Al Ettifaq FC vs Al Orouba (Al Ettifaq win)

What will be interesting for me in the match Al Fateh will be the host and against Al Khlood. Logically, Al Fateh is favored by bookies. But looking at the current performance, for me Al Khlood is more worthy of winning. Although Al Fateh is more experienced, this season Al Fateh has a very bad performance and defense line.
So there's nothing wrong with trying to bet on the underdog.

Cristiano Ronaldo can do anything and break all his own records. He needs just 93 more goals to reach the 1000 goal milestone and if he stays healthy for the entire season and can play another full season then it will be much easier for him to reach the 1000 goal milestone.

Cristiano Ronaldo had some poor performances for Al Nassr which made it look like Ronaldo might have to stop this time but he proved that legendary players are never lost. Will end his football career while Al Nassr and Al Nassr is ready to extend his contract with him, waiting to touch the milestone of 1000 goals next to the name of cs7.
As a strong and passionate fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, I'll want to see him beat that record of becoming the first footballer to score 1000 career goals. I feel age is no longer on his side at the moment which is why I was having a little doubt that he can achieve that but the rate at which he's currently scoring goals even when he's 39, my doubts isn't as strong as it used to be again. Apart from scoring 1000 career goals, I'll also want to see Cristiano Ronaldo win a major trophy with Al Nassr

It must be admitted that Cristiano is a goat who is very positive about his target. Must be emulated by other professional players even though they are not as capable as him.
In my opinion, with his attitude and character, the number 1000 is not difficult to achieve even though he is like a human being who refuses to grow old.

A player like Ronaldo will always be placed in the first row for every result received by the team he strengthens. If they lose, Ronaldo will be in the spotlight. If they win, another reason will be born but the spotlight will still be on him.

even though people keep talking about him following the stats and doing mostly tap ins, isn't it out of the world to see this kind of consistency from a player who has literally gotten to his climax and should on a normal day be slowing down on this kind of record breaking feet? This is one player that does well both at team level and In club side and he's closing in and almost getting to 40 years.

Scored for Portugal against Poland at the ongoing nations league and still had a massive contribution to the success of the game. Came back to his club like he never left and still showing class. The thing about "tap-in" argument is, if it's so easy to score with tap ins, why don't we see others to have same success with it? This dude scored over 900 goals so far, most of them were incredible, like him or not, at very very worst case, this is the second best player in history of football, and some think he is first, so there is no other option, he is either the best player to ever play this game or second best player, and I believe that should be all the important part about how he is scoring but reaching to a point where he is still playing at 39 years old, I do not see many 39 year old players play right now, and certainly not anyone who can score as much as he does, doesn't matter if he taps it in, or shoots from halfway line, he still scores when others can't, that's the important thing.

A tap-in means a great positioning skill to be at the right place at the right time, wish everyone had that talent.

When the match almost ended in a draw in the match, Al Nassr got lucky with the penalty they got towards the end of the match, Ronaldo succeeded in bringing Al Nassr back to consecutive victories since Pioli took over the team from Luis Castro through a penalty goal in the 90+7 minute, I think the performance and consistency shown by Ronaldo so far is of course very extraordinary especially with his age of 39 years, his ability to bounce back from any of his poor performances in a match certainly shows the strong winning mentality he has had so far, talking about Ronaldo record, of course we no longer need to discuss it because indeed he has many records created and also broken during his career,  to score 1000 goals during his football career is of course a difficult thing, but I think it is still possible if indeed he can continue to be consistent and also continue to get support from other players at Al Nassr, Ronaldo contract will soon expire at Al Nassr in June 2025, is there a possibility of him or Al Nassr to extend his contract?

Ronaldo is not alone, he is indeed a great player, but now his ability will depend greatly on the performance of his teammates too. unlike before where when he got the ball, he had the ability to pass his opponent. he was very scary in his golden age. we must admit how good his game is. not many players at his age are still productive. even though he is not in the top European League. but he still shows that he can still score goals. even his arrival in Saudi has a big impact on football there. I'm not sure Al Nassr will take the option to extend his contract.

Well, initially I also thought like you there must be something that will happen why bookies favor Al Nassr even though they are playing away even though Al Shabab's current performance is not much different from Al Nassr who is now in the top 5 of the standings but as we know that the quality of Al Nassr players is better than Al Shabab, therefore bookies prefer Al Nassr to be the favorite but we also need to be careful when betting because maybe Al Shabab will give an unexpected surprise like when facing Al Taawon and Al Qadsyah they won the match even though with a narrow score.

Well I think all the probabilities point to Al Nassr being able to win without much sacrifice, because eventually they have a mentality that I see is with high morale and apart from this they are doing very well in every game that I have seen them, I think they are doing it like this because this time they want to win everything, they want to sweep, and of course they have been dominating the Saudi League for a long time, so everything is already there, they just have to follow the goal, it is not easy because one says that this league is soft, but when you see the matches wow these teams can beat any of the big teams in Europe if they get experience with them.

The most unbelievable thing is that Ronaldo has hardly ever had a long-term injury since he began his career as a football player and even now that he is 39 years old, I have rarely heard news reports that he is injured. However, there are many players between the ages of 22 and 28 who are in big teams but who are constantly injured, unable to play most of the games each season without getting injured. I used to wonder why this happens, until one time I went to research how Ronaldo trains and realized that he takes training and nutrition very seriously, which is why he has such good physical conditioning that he can play at 39 years old and score goals, and Ronaldo plays for the entire 90 minutes.

Al Nassr also managed to win with score of 1 - 2, Ronaldo gave 4 shots but could only get 1 goal from penalty kick, Al Hilal and Al Nassr both ended the match as expected.
I added Al Nassr in the bet but all of them were not for the winning option but Under 4.75 on Al Hilal vs Al Feiha and Over 2.25 on Al Nassr vs Al Shabab and all of them were successful.

Yeah nice bets man you won it and I understand your feelings for the Al Nassr match when both teams drew in 90 minutes then luck come in the 90+7 minute through a penalty Grin  and yeah that's how Ronaldo played he can change the situation even in the last second. There was no change in the standings, Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr won the match. Next today we will wait for Al-Ittihad to play the 7th match if Al-Ittihad wins then they will shift Al-Nassr from second position, hmm this season Al-Nassr not only competes with Al-Hilal but also with Al-Ittihad  which continues to increase its performance with consistency. Al-Ittihad also has 2 players who contribute to the team and it must be admitted that this collaboration has been successful so far.
