Al Nassr, is a team that is always in the top four of the Saudi League standings. even without Ronaldo, Al Nassr is one of the strong teams in this competition. and that was proven by one of Al Nassr's players, namely Talisca, who became the top scorer by packing 13 goals in 17 matches. and right now, Al Nassr should be an even tougher team with the presence of Ronaldo with them. So far, Ronaldo has scored 5 goals, two of them from the penalty spot. at least, Ronaldo can score goals more easily because this competition is not as tough as the European leagues.
The competition is not as tough as the European league, wait you mean the European league like the premier league that Manchester city has been dominating for the past five years or La Liga that has only two winners or do you want me to call other league that are just glorifid farmers league. Please don't look down on Saudi Pro League, they have quality players there that defeat most European teams especially if they had the kind of media coverage, engagement and support that other European clubs are getting as all this motivates the players to play better. Give that league some few years and they'll be among the top league in the world.
Bayern Munich has been dominating their league for years now and we think that's more competitive? Same with PSG, Juventus etc in their respective league. Even the premier league that was seen as the most competitive now have the like of Manchester city dominating over season. Please European league are becoming a farmers league and it's happening faster than we can noticed.
Please don't get me wrong, it is in no way our intention to belittle the Saudi Pro League. we only refer to Ronaldo, who has high experience requirements. his name really shone when playing in European leagues, he has skills that are above average and that's why he became one of the best players in football history. so, it is only natural that we expect his contribution with Al Nassr.
Well, let's discuss. because you mentioned Manchester City, Bayern Munich, PSG. what about Al Hilal, they have won this competition three times in a row. and so did their rivals, Al Nassr, the last time they won the Saudi Pro League trophy was in the 2018-19 season, after which Al Hilal again dominated the league trophy. Al Nassr has always been Al Hilal's competitor in the struggle for trophies in this competition. at least, the competition between Al Hilal and Al Nassr has lasted long enough. let's take a look at the stats of these two teams. we'll see from the 2016-17 season and up to 2021-22. these two teams, always compete to dominate the Saudi Pro League competition. then, what's the difference.
