I never really took interest in suadi league but now that a wonderful thread like this has been created, it will now serve serve as medium for me to really know the strongs team that are in the league and even couple to the fact Ronaldo is also playing in the league now.

His presence in the league will bring viewers and also sport bettors to more acknowledgement of the league so talks about the league will be everywhere and also this thread will serve same purpose, so its a nice idea from the OP.

This means if we're to expect a professional club debut then it has to be the game against Al Ettifaq on January 21.

It doesn't matter when Ronaldo debut as the Saudi league from what I'm seeing is just at its very early stages meaning there's enough time for Ronaldo to make his mark on the season, the highest goal scorer has just 9 goals and plays for Ronaldo's team. Ronaldo could easily surpassed him and help Al Nassr lift the league title

When I heard the amount Al Nasar was offering to pay for the signature of Cristiano Ronaldo I was calculating and analyzing the economic and other impacts that this expense would bring to the club. From what I have seen so far, I don't think I need any further clarification. The benefit is massive and unquantifiable. It has affected not only the club but the Saudi Pro League, Saudi Arabia as a nation, and the entire Asian continent. With this level of publicity this signing has brought, other clubs in the Saudi league should be mandated to pay some funds to Al Nasar. I am beginning to suspect that this signing might have been sponsored not only by Al Nasar but by the Saudi government. But there is no doubt that the inclusion of Ronaldo has allowed the league to attain a certain level of recognition and hype, which is usually reserved for the European leagues such as Serie A and EPL. It is going to be mutually beneficial, as Ronaldo was not feeling very comfortable with Manchester United.

Maybe from some of Ronaldo's colleagues at Al-Nassr there is only one name that I think is familiar Vincent Aboubakar, he scored the only goal for Cameroon's victory against Brazil in the world cup yesterday and got a second yellow card which resulted in getting a red card for celebrating taking off his shirt after score a goal. But I also can't wait to see the duet of these two players CR7 and Aboubakar at Al-Nassr.

I confess that before knowing that Cristiano Ronaldo would be playing there, I was never interested in following this championship.
I believe that, at least in the first few months, the audience should increase considerably just because of people's curiosity.

I've been looking for the "best players" and honestly I haven't found any good players. I found some well-known names, but none that I remember seeing good acting.

Anyway, I'm not going to discredit this league, because we saw in the last world cup that the most unlikely teams and players are sometimes the ones that surprise us.
It may be that it discovers good players (and the main European teams as well) that until then were going unnoticed.

It is not going to be 100% certain in 2-3 games because it is totally different type league. I mean it is not going to be like half a season before we know how he fits there, not that long neither, but will be like a few games.

Just because he may end up scoreless on his first game won't mean that he is not going to be good, nor if he scores a hattrick doesn't mean he will be bad neither, it is not going to be decided until a few games later where we know how he played for like 3 games or so, then we can make assumptions. I still think he is not as good as he used to be, which means no matter which league he plays, it is not going to be that amazing ending for him overall.
