In about 20 minutes we will see the Al-Nassr Vs Al-Ta'ee game, also the line-up for this match is out but we won't find Cristiano Ronaldo there even on the bench. I don't know when Cristiano will play his first game for Al-Nassr, does anyone have any information regarding that here?

First there was news from the media saying that there was a ban on playing for CR7 on his first debut because there was an incident of smashing a fan's cellphone last April when he was still defending Manchester United, I don't know if this is right or wrong, for sure this is just speculation. But if I personally think he still can't be in the Al-Nassr starting line up because he still needs training and adaptation with his team-mates, so he missed this game and will debut in the next game against Al-Shahab.

I don't know for what reason he didn't play, but I do know that together with the Saudi fans, the whole world is looking forward to Cristiano Ronaldo's debut match.  I'm sure all channels will broadcast the match live.  I hope Cristiano Ronaldo can score a goal on the field in his first match and be very successful in this adventure.

So what do you think about this match? how will this match go and what is your score prediction? let's share

Ronaldo will miss 2 matches due to FA/FIFA sanctions when Ronaldo was still playing for Manchester United there was an incident related to the Everton fans
Sanctions will remain in effect in all Leagues under FIFA including in the Saudi Pro League, this is not a big problem for Al nassr because they still have great players
one of them is Talisca who is the top scorer in this league today he scored 2 more goals and Al Nassr won the match.

It's weird to see that my longest running gambling discussion thread (NBA) have almost same merit as this new thread, LOL.

Al Nassr is leading first half with a late goal of Talisca. He's in the striker position today since Aboubakar is unavailable. His contract is terminated because of foreign rule. Al Nassr already had 4 foreign players (Ospina, Talisca, Gustavo, Aboubakar) so they had to give up one of them. It's ridiculous to set Aboubakar free, he was their best player.

Ronaldo is still not in the squad, maybe after next match we will see him. Because I heard he already had a two match ban for breaking Everton fan's phone and this is the first game of his ban. He's watching the game from VIP box right now.
Al Nassr decision might seem ridiculous understandably looking at the contributions Aboubakar have made to the team, but rules must be respected as laid and that's why the needful must be done. Away from that, looking at Ronaldo who was like a rejected stone by his immediate former club is today gazed upon as a chief-cornerstone at Al Nassr to which the President of the team in a press conference described him C. Ronaldo as the "Greatest of all time". Am happy for him and we hope to see him make his debut immediately as I believe his presence in not just Al Nassr to the Arab league itself will attract much eyes into the league.

Thank you @Queentoshi for providing information regarding when Cristiano will make his debut for Al-Nassr, but I can't find the source of your quote, there's no link embedded in the "News Source" words.

Al-Nassr are on top of the league with just a point, and the league is still open to other teams to win it. With the idea that a start player has just joined them, and their audience has increased, they will want to impress in the game by winning and staying untop until Ronaldo plays for them. I think they will win against Al Taee.

The first half for the Al-Nassr Vs Al-Ta'ee match was finished with a temporary score of 1 - 0. Goal was scored by Talisca in the 42nd minute. Al-Nassr have had over 60% possession so far, if it continues like this I'm sure they will score another 2 goals in the second half (if they improve their shots on goal too of course, LOL)

I would say it definitely got some interest for now, but it is also up to them to make sure they keep that interest going. Sure Ronaldo is there and everyone will either watch the games or the highlights for his games, but this is a whole league we are talking about and if you are going to pay a player that much money to bring attention to the league, then you should definitely find other ways to keep people entertained as well.

There is no possibility of Saudi league to be interesting at all in the long run after Ronaldo leaves, everyone will forget about them once again, so during this two years, they need to find a way to keep tis attention after he leaves.
I just have one question - the way Saudi welcomed Ronaldo - has any  other Goat be welcomed this way before?
He has been so admired and loved and welcome there.

Nice threads. Glad to see this is the right time to open this thread. Cristona Ronaldo will be a name that will take the competition one step ahead in this league. Al-Nassr team is in very good shape. After Ronaldo transfer, they already had good players, now the world star is in this team. I would like this league to be more competitive. I wish football to be at the top level not only in Europe but also in other leagues. I will start to follow the Arabian league and I will take a look at it from time to time and share my ideas on this thread.
When the deal was first announced, everyone was making fun of Al Nassr. The salary offered by them was almost 7 times higher than what Ronaldo was receiving at Manchester United. But now it is looking more like a mutually beneficial deal which will bring enormous benefits to the league (Saudi Professional League) as well as the club (Al Nassr FC). With just one masterstroke, the Saudi Professional League has become one of the most popular football leagues in the world all of a sudden. Now millions of global fans are following the games.

The Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 competition is quite tight if we look at the points acquisition from the top of the standings to the team that is in 13th place.

The Al Nassr FC vs Al Taee match will be Cristiano Ronaldo's first match if the player who earns the most expensive fee plays later.
Al Nassr FC is currently strengthened by some famous players after I traced the club profile.
Against Al Taee, it looks like Al Nassr will win easily even though I haven't followed this league.

It is clear that the impact of Ronaldo's presence has made them improve in many factors and not only in terms of Al-Nassr, but from everything involved such as the Saudi Professional League, of course, they will receive more attention than usual.

Saudi Arabia is undergoing a big change process in all domains since the young crown price Mohammed Ben Salman took control of the state, so yes the presence of Ronaldo will help them in many domains. In addition, they are preparing to host the World Cup 2030 beside Egypt and Greece.

But I wonder, when Ronaldo will be able to play for Al-Nassr, because it seems so far Ronaldo is still not available or there is still something to be done first.
Meanwhile, today Al-Nassr will play at home against Al Taee, and I think with Al-Nassr currently at the top of the standings, of course they still have a chance to win.

He won't play as the club still hasn't registered him in their players list because there's no place for a foriegn player, Saudi league has limits for the number of foriegn players in a club, therefore they need to sell or lend a player before they're able to register Ronaldo.

This is very great, the impact of Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival on Arab soil to continue his profession as a footballer changed the whole world's view of the league which was almost inaudible to me, and today I read a thread about the Saudi Professional League discussion which means it is very welcomed by members of the Bitcointalk forum, in my opinion, it is natural for us to discuss football in Arab lands considering that there are already many media broadcasting and discussing SPL.
I also hope that the next SPL match can be on the gambling platform for us to start something new Grin

Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the best athletes in the world.  It has become a brand in its own right.  When I think of success, I think of Cristiano Ronaldo.  So I understand that Saudi Arabia is popular right now.  It has the effect of Cristiano Ronaldo.  I read that Cristiano Ronaldo is unable to play because he is currently suspended for 2 matches by the FA.  If so, he will not be on the field in today's game.

Ronaldo has brought the world to Saudi Arabia and FIFA really needs Ronaldo to make more money as he is a superstar. They are finding every possible means to fix a match for Al Nassr to play in so that people can see Ronaldo's great performance. I know if he will be playing in their next match,he must net the post, due to his eagerness to show the Saudis his worth. If Ronaldo is in Suadi Arabia and finally if it is true that Messi is also planning to come if this happens, there will be hope for the SPL to be strong,in the sense that there is nothing impossible, young players who look up to these two players as role model can also accept coming to play in SPL.

Thank you Op for creating this topic. This is a thread that shows the evidence of Ronaldo effect in the global status. The Saudi professional league from henceforth will be active in this forum and other good players will be joining the league.
We can also call this thread Ronaldo thread because more than 80% of what is going to be discussed here is Ronaldo.
By looking at the popularity of Al Nassr's and Saudi Pro league recently one can tell how much celebrated player Ronaldo is and how he can change the fate of any small league .
Just his introductory ceremony made stadiums packed to full , just imagine the games he's going to play how many will come to watch.
This is a good move by Al Nassr to include Ronaldo in their team , reat of teams should also think of such move.

But apart from that I was quite surprised too, because in the Saudi Professional League there is a team that has good domination and that is Al-Hilal. But because at this moment Al-Nassr already has Ronaldo, it seems that Al-Hilal will find it difficult to get the title in succession.
I don't know for sure, whether the Saudi Professional League will be interesting to watch for the match as a whole, or maybe they will only watch when Ronaldo plays, maybe they will only look forward to the Al-Nassr match.

After Ronaldo signed for Al-Hilal there are news that Messi also signing for some Saudi football club? Can someone tell that its true or just speculation. If Messi is also coming to Saudi then there will be more players joining in and Saudi league may be like English premier league.
Cristiano Ronaldo signed with Al-Nassr, not Al-Hilal. For Lionel Messi at the moment it's just speculation and it's very unlikely considering that Messi will only extend his contract in 2023 and no one knows for sure how many more years he will be in the PSG uniform, this news has been previously confirmed by journalist Fabrizio Romano. It is possible that even if Messi is interested in joining an SPL club, of course when his contract period is up with PSG and that does not rule out the possibility that the duel between these two mega stars will continue in the SPL.

I didn't know that Al Nassr has another name, namely Al Hilal, but looking at Google, a different club, Al Nassr, is in position 1 and Al Hilal is in position 3, whose full name is Al Hilal Rijad.
Messi still has 1 year left on his contract at PSG, and even though many big players will join Arab clubs, it doesn't mean that they can easily make the league there like the Premier League or other famous leagues because these great players are already old, meaning they are approaching retirement and there will be a decline in theirs performances

Al Nassr will have theirs match today against the team in 7th position, will Ronaldo start from the first half in this match? but of all what is most eagerly awaited if he actually plays is whether to score goals and bring the club that has paid him with a fantastic value a victory.
