There are some ICO that are scams but not all of them. I've followed one ICO and now they actually developing more on the project which is set to release early next year. Just find time to read the developers work and you could say some really had visions on their work and are doing their best to work it all out and release in the market.

It really is hard to believe that there are some ICOs who are intended to scam people. There are all hypocrits and rely on the weakness of people especially those who are new to bitcoin. So sad.
I think that's reality, for we have to br smart and wise choosing ICO altcoins. You may be safe by checking the background of the team, roadmap,  and reviews of majot sites of ICO. And for that I wish you luck and Godspeed!

Yeah that's why I recommend to research carefully the ICO before attempting to invest there because there's a lot of them in the market as of now and they target those people who are new in this kind of industry and doesn't have the knowledge on how to play the market. The best advice to give to them is learn first the basic of crypto world before going to it because it's already risky here and those scam ICO added more risk to this industry wanting to get some money illegally and without hard work. Keep in mind that when you step up here in crypto industry you must be careful on the decisions that you will make so that you'll not end up with the wrong people.

We cant teach every kid how to play the game. If they are too weak then they have to suffer to get the lesson and then when next time they play this game I am sure they will play it in the safer ways.

However, I most of the time people should think that when they are going to invest in the crypto currencies or any crypto related project then it comes at big risk that can jeopardise their investment for real. So if everyone starts thinking that way then there could be difference really.

The rate at which new coins are being pushed into the market now is alarming, there are so many coins and the worst part is that a lot of thes coins are just targeted to scam people as they have no real use in the world so once the developers make enough money like they wanted from the investors, they take off and leave these innocent investors with nothing. There are way too many scam coins in the market now.

You can't leave that off a bustling market. Remember the crypto space is still new, and people would try to take advantage of that. Scams are everywhere, even outside of our industry, you just gotta be careful not to get hooked by one.

Unfortunately you're right ...there are more and more scammers . It is difficult to distinguish the scams from normal projects

Well, if you are really paying attention, ICO projects that is so good to be true are usually the ones who are scams and just a project to get money out of its investors and advertisers.

Though saying this, it is still hard to identify them unless you are used to these kinds of projects or you had a lot of experience dealing with this kind of investments. I just hope a lot of people can identify this kind of fraud so a lot of people can evade themselves from being scammed.

YOu should really careful to invest. FInd the ICO with realistic project, and strong team. There are many ICOs that has no real project. Ones of the project that are real are bancor, IDex, BAT, and some others. You can also join projects run by good reputation team like bobs repair by John Mcafee.

We have to accept that in a society where there is a lot of fraud. Although sad, but not too anxious, cryptocurrency itself is an improvement, it will go further.

Yeah, most of the ICOs being launched currently are nothing but scams and just here to fool newbies and take their money. They do this by hyping their coins using shills who are paid for by them to promote their coins and newbies fall prey to these hype and invest without thinking twice into these coins.

today the crypto industry is a very profitable business. with the increase of crypto users, it is quite impossible if there is not a criminal act like ico that scam or hacking. it is not impossible that it happens to see any potential that can be profitable. or can be spelled out money quickly. that's why we always need knowledge, experience and insight. and is strongly encouraged to discuss in this forum.
