There are too many ICO scams. There are too few and too many good projects. After all, it is difficult to do a good job. However, deceit is often simple, as long as you grasp human nature. It is recommended that novices do not choose ICO. High profits are just the way they seduce you.

I do not think I can say so. Many projects last year were very serious and they are continuing to build. However, this year because of price problems, it is impossible to make short-term profits. Therefore, many people feel that their investment has been lost.

for beginners, it is advisable to understand the overall explanation of ICO from the understanding of reading whitepapers, getting to know the ICO team, and accessing information on telegram

It is not only important for beginners to read ICO documentation and to look for as much information about the project as possible. However, this may not be enough for even experienced users. A lot of scam projects are very well done (whitepaper, team, idea) and it is not easy to recognize a scam.

Unfortunately at the moment there are a lot of scam projects among ICO. Therefore, investing in ICO is now a very risky occupation (choosing a good project for investment has become much more difficult than a year ago).

if only a beginner, I recommend no ICO investment because it has enormous risks, as beginners have to read a lot about ico or just invest in top 10 coinmarketcap to avoid losing a lot of money

Unfortunately, they have even really missed the enthusiasm within. Unfortunately, people are no longer interested in contributing or trying to be rich in unfair ways. That's why there are so many unnecessary projects around.

There are scams all over the place now, and it's almost impossible to be too careful for some of us. But I will advice that before you involve yourself with a project/coin make sure you have done adequate research and are certain about your decision to invest in it. Keep your private info private. Do not share specific information with people you met over the internet. A good percentage of these people cannot be trusted.

We need to be vigilant or careful on selecting ICO. We have to dig all the the information of ICO before investing. Their whitepaper, website and social media, their products, their team and developer etc.

Yes mate, there are so many projects that are not legit and they only raising funds for their own sake. Lets just choose those project that is legit and has a good future correctly so that our funds will have a good profit not those instant loss because of scam coins.
This is unavoidable, and there are many false projects that are very showy about their technology and services. But it's not practical at all. We have to accumulate experience.

Scammers exist in any circle, and particularly in, for example, ICOs, in light of the fact that this circle isn't managed by law, at any rate in my nation. The primary concern is to figure out how to recognize excellent undertakings from false by different criteria, for instance, the uniqueness and convenience of the thought, data about the group, the accessibility of white paper and a guide, straightforwardness of the financial plan, a reasonable idea of merchandise or administrations, the conveyance of tokens. It isn't conceivable to totally shield yourself from tricksters, however you can limit the hazard.

Well. No need to feel sad. Because everyone is there just for making money out of others.
To protect yourself from getting stolen, the only way is getting smarter so you can spot scam ones.

My strategy is to only choose the ones that have their team's pictures on the website. So they cannot run anywhere.

This is an obvious fact and an inevitable. That's the way it is, especially crypto without anyone's intervention, even the government can not interfere with crypto. Crypto is not in the law, so it's easier for the bad guys to get around. Go rogue the ignorant newbie investors. To avoid fraud, it is best to equip yourself with enough knowledge to survive in the crypto .

There a lot of scam ICO out there so as bounties. I know that its not the bounty managers fault and they should not be blamed for those scam ICO's. Its just not its very hard to accept that you worked for their bounty for 3 months just to make us wait for nothing. Even a thank you is not really happening on scam ICO's. There should be something we can do to report those scam ICO's so they won't do it again. Does anyone know where to report a scam ICO?
