So far this year , a lot of scams have occurred in the crypto sphere ranging from projects scamming investors and as well as projects not paying hunters for their works.

What do you think can be done to counter this ill manner behaviors that has been painting cryptocurency bad?

maybe one of the steps that must be done is to make an analysis of the projects that we will enter, both as investors or prize hunters. At least we read from their whitepaper.
Yeah right, you should always do your part studying and researching everything before you take your part. Each time you see opportunities don't grab right away but instead, try to analyze and make you feel comfortable from project to ride with.

Never to play smart, keep doing good market studies in order to make the right pick when investing your money or your time.

Analyzing and seeing the whole project is very important as we have to know the existence of a professional team, white paper to read, the sale will investors think again if in a small exchange, then the product being bargained must have a lot of interest, and vision and mission that is real,

For hunters you can rate and many bounty are launched every day and it's the same as doing your own analysis because bounties now have to wait a long time to become money.

No project is born scam. It becomes scam eventually due to various reasons. Maybe it doesn't get enough exposure or maybe product wasn't strong or there can be hundred other reasons for a failure of project. It is not possible to predict for every project in the start whether it will sustain or turn scam. So as a bounty hunter, you should periodically review all your joined bounties and rate their periodical success. Whenever you find that project is not getting enough exposure, just drop that bounty rather than doing it till the end.

I think theres no way to pre-empt that problem for now it was still rely on the personal knowledge of individual investors or even bounty hunters. Since regulation is not yet present, the better to do is move on and keep working to other option, im sure that still some are worth to invest. If we dont move on i think its bad for our health since it can cause a stress that might resulting in illness. so move one and ride with flow!

I think there is no one to blame in this case, because cryptocurrency is a free market and in my opinion we must be more careful in every decision and choice we will make. Observe how the project and the activeness of the team behind it, I think it is needed to minimize the possibility of getting a scam project.

I think nothing because there's no strict regulations about projects so they can do whatever scam projects they want to do, then the bounty hunters are also suffering because scam/failed projects means no payout.
The only option left for the bounty hunters is to carefully analyze the project that being introduced, the more careful they do the more possible that they can get into a good project that will pay them for their works, and same from what you have said. It's free to any regulations so scammers are just around and keeps doing their best to trick people to keep participating and wasting their time to nothing but scam projects.
sometimes even though we carefully analyze the project, we are still trapped in a fraudulent project, especially if we don't analyze it carefully, it might just waste our time. by continuing to do research, I think the longer we will gain experience to choose projects that are truly quality

fake projects could not avoided in market.they always make their projects looks good.from site design , whitepaper, team made so perfectly till we could not recognized it as fake projects.and when it this condition , our experience and instinct will help us to identify it.just keep our effort in analzing projects so we will understand how they modify fake projects.

Don't invest. That will be the best counter because if there will be no investor and all will rely on the established market, I don't think that these scammers will keep on making new projects to scam.
And this isn't just for this year, last year was also a bad year for most because many scams have been made.
The crypto market already has fewer investors nowadays. Most of the projects are not gaining the softcap, even good projects are suffering to make it up! At least we should support good IEO projects. Otherwise, the crypto market potential won't be increased anymore! We should do counter to the scam ICO, not every startup project!
Actually for cryptocurrency market trading has not decreased. but in Projeck IEO or ICO there is no longer any interest. this is because of the errors of some scam projects and this has an impact on existing projects that they have all become difficult to regain the confidence of investors who have left

i think the only counter is knowledge
as once you become knowledgeable about cryptocurrencies and the current technologies and what can and can't be currently done
you never fall for scams, they all become super ovbious.
People just need to gain more knowledge in crypto, and NEVER invest in something you dont fully understand

I'm agree with this, sometime investor and also hunter only focus to money or profit thay can earn, they should too knowledge when see the an oddity in a project it would be better not to participate in it, and the strangeness we can find when we have knowledge about crypto.

Yes in 2018 there are so many ico projects that are deceptive, all bounty hunters experienced fraud from fraudulent developers, including investors as well, so ico project is now like outages. And to restore investor interest, and improve crypto image, IEO project is now promising, because IEO project has been listed on the stock exchange.
But that is the fact that in 2018 there are also more and more projects that commit fraud. as if nothing would stop if I looked. because until now the project that aims to deceive still exists to develop. there is no such thing as a big change when we look at today where even greater fraud is happening

It really depends on a couple of aspects.

Was the project registered? Did they have a company license or where their team members exposed? Did they run away with ICO funds or did they go bankrupt?

If they went bankrupt and have no funds, unfortunately you won't be able to get your funds back and it'll likely resort in you just losing money via the lawsuit.

If they did run away with ico funds and you have their identity, it'll be fairly easy to hit them with a lawsuit and get your money back - contact a lawyer.

There is no need to do something big to counter it. A passive response would be more helpful. Do not invest or give attention to projects that are dubious, incomplete with data, inactive in promotion and response to questions, unclear road maps and whitepaper, and so on. Do not promote them either in their bounty campaigns. A little attention is enough for them to be encouraged to do more scams. A single participant in a campaign may be enough for it to continue.

Regulation can be the answer to avoid scam projects. The regulation we are wishing is still not in our sight.
For now, avoiding scam projects is the best way to do now. It is not easy to locate a scam bounty but there will be some hint that we can see when participating in a campaign.

There is not much a bounty hunter can do but to make sure the project they are going to join and promote is legitimate. Join only legitimate projects who aim to have their product running and dedicated to developing the product. Do not join a bounty just because of the manager, the number of posts needed and how huge the bounty pool is.
Joining campaigns that already live their product is the key due to the fact that they already proven their aim for launching the ICO or IEO is to develop it more, plus they might already have companies that supports them, they will not risk their name simply to scam or not paid their bounty hunters since they know their is already companies who will be affected if they do so.

The only thing that can prevent the scam projects and bounties is the developer of the smartcontract. There must be a validator before the amateur can issue a new asset in the parent platform.
There must be a requirement like KYC verification before we can create a new asset.
What has already done by binance exchange is very useful to prevent scammer to issue a new asset on the binance chain.
The validation is the only thing that will be very effective to prevent the scammer. Binance is such a concrete example of how the validation of any blockchain is needed to give more protection to the investors.

I don't see another way to prevent scammer that will give a high protection from the scammer.
