Whats the actual accusation here? Buying premined coins is a risk the buyers should have been aware of. Is the coin open source?

yup it's open source, the chain broke on second days, no news from dev for hours.

it's not looking good for CRDS

What happened:
fl0wd3v (=SigmaDev) created a thread about a new cryptocurrency here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/new-cryptographic-currency-1934199 with Argon2d as the algorithm. My first post in this thread was here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.19250016 He convinced me to help him and I created the original [ANN] thread as well as the thread for the bounty campaign. We setup and ran the bounty campaign together with andrew2k. The original BCT thread can be found here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-creditscrds-cpu-only-mining-argon2d-pow-masternodes-1944858 and the bounty thread is here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bounty-official-credits-crds-bounty-campaign-thread-1947857
The project got the attention of many people, we had around 400 twitter participants and a few signature campaign participants. The slack channel reached 200+ people.

Credits (the coin he forked) was launched on June 17th 2017. As soon as the coin was launched, he started selling his premine (275,000 CRDS) to other people over the Slack channel for $1 per CRDS.

Today, the difficulty retargeting algorithm broke down and difficulty collapsed. People started mining blocks every minute. He said he has a meeting and he will be back later. He never came back. Later on, it emerged that he had sold CRDS to many people for $1 each to setup masternodes. I don't know exactly how many CRDS he sold, but my estimate is around 10,000. People are still coming forward in the Slack channel saying how he scammed them.

The slack group is here: https://credits-community.slack.com and the website he had setup is here http://crds.io/
You can get an invite for Slack here if you want to see the message history: https://credits-slack-invite.herokuapp.com/

At the end of the day, we (andrew2k, 2 new developers and myself) decided to relaunch the coin, after fixing the difficulty retargeting algorithm. We created a new Slack group here: https://projectargon2d.slack.com

And I will update the thread once more people are confirmed.

All these are slack names from the projectargon2d.slack.com group.

Finally, we have a twitter and signature campaign going on. Andrew2k and myself are the managers. I haven't decided what to do yet; I'm thinking to issue the same number of tokens, but once the new coin is launched.
