How many posts do I have to make to be able to post images?

You need to be at least jr member I think. But activity only updates every two weeks, and in order to get 30+ activity to be a jr member you ll have to wait for about a month..

OP and Website launch first, then 2 weeks of promotion before wallets/binaries are released at the same time.

Airdrop worked for byteball because of the system they have, for this it wont work and will only exclude people.

I have looked into his option and it would require two coins and its a good plan, however, its more of a tether/stability plan that requires a lot of work.

But there is already a project doing that and its called Duality (Dynamic and Sequence) and this is not that.

We are going with option 1.

Websites/OP are being designed atm. The next post here from me will be a link to both Wink

EDIT: I want to add these points prior to posting the OP:

1. I have been honest that I only want 0.025% of the total coins as payment for creation/work/production/time put into the wallet and communication and in no way will I just dump all of the coins in one go, but I will sell off coins very slowly and staggered over the course of months and months, the address of which I will post publicly. The other 0.025% is for bounties etc.

2. I want this to be a cryptographic currency that is built on community use, involvement, participation and drive/speculation of what it can be.

3. I will support the codebase indefinitely, but I am not the main dev, anyone can contribute to the codebase.

Thank you all.

I like it, looks like a pretty good plan: choosing Argon2d, CPU-only mining, Masternodes and all that. Let's hope that the project will run smoothly.

Ok all sounds good! Just a thought before you post the OP; what do you think about an airdrop? Look at byteball, it had a very successful airdrop for BTC users and built a very large community within a few months.

I was thinking maybe link the airdrop to bitcointalk usernames, this would create a large community very fast. Maybe just a small % can go to an initial airdrop before PoW starts. Its just a thought.

Also, how soon will you post the announcement? Will there be a specific date or ninja launch?

OK there are two options.

The first I am in favour of but only because that plan is laid out in front of me and I am waiting on more info on the second.

1. A coin that has a structured reward structure for its coin creation period, in this case 35/36 years to produce 95,000,000 coins with Miners being initially rewarded greater than Masternodes and the rewards over that period basically doing a steady switcheroo as the Masternode network grows and mining progresses through CPU->GPU->ASIC. It has a premine of 475,000(0.05% of Total Coins after 35/36 years) in the reward structure of which I want 50% for creation/work I have spent and the other 50% of it will be used for bounties/promotion in first years.

2. One person keeps talking about making it an asset backed cryptocurrency and I am waiting on the information/proposal on reward structure and how it would work. I've been told that they have the connections and know-how to make it work, but waiting on the proposal, otherwise its option 1.

The codebase itself is a fork of Dynamic which is basically an improved Dash 12.2, with Argon2d for CPU mining only (with Wolf0 AVX2 optimisations), Masternodes are 500 coins to run. All the styling, name, logos/icon are done. Governance is disabled, oh and Chinese translations are even done as I feel the Chinese will be interested as PrivateSend and InstantSend ACTUALLY WORK Tongue

Let me know what you guys think? Cheesy

EDIT: I have been shown the reward structure and to be fair it is based a lot on mine but ensures a 1% inflation, I am reviewing it.

1. A 0.05% premine looks perfectly fair. Perhaps you should increase it a bit, both your reward and the reward reserved for bounties. Its important to have a lot of promotion, especially in this forum

2. What do you mean asset backed? No POW?

I will get more information today about the asset backed currency. The person with the idea is not a developer/coder but has been watching cryptocurrencies for a long time and has been waiting for an opportunity to utilise his skills/connections and overall idea. The plan seems solid, I am just waiting on the figures.

I read that Dynamic coin has supply elasticity, meaning that the block reward changes on the fly every 15 seconds based on market price of the coin. So
 - If coin price goes down, the block reward decreases to reduce supply and increase demand
 - If coin price goes up, the block reward increases to increase supply and reduce demand

Are you going to keep this structure? It looks good I think, it ll have a stabilizing effect on price volatility

That isn't how Dynamic works. Duality uses collateral of both coins I believe. There is nothing in the code that does that.

Also, to do that, it would require two coins.

Yep you are right, my mistake

To be honest, I have completed the codework on the new coin. The name/release is coming. It will ensure return on investment throughout the lifecycle of coin production. A complete roadmap is being drawn up, bounties/rewards for additions to the codebase and marketing/promotion of the coin is being arranged. There is no horrendous premine, the rewards are fair. It will be CPU mineable to begin with, using Argon2d with Wolf0's AVX2 improvements to ensure that we are getting the best performance from the mining algorithm and the retarget algorithm will be DELTA from Guldencoin. Styling, logo work etc. is complete. It will launch with all binaries that are possible to be built, however, due to the Argon2d algorithm, Rasp-Pi support is lacking atm. iOS wallets are on the roadmap as well as ledger wallets, trezor wallets, electrum wallets and more.

Ok, that's great! Have you decided on a name?

Also, is there currently a miner for Argon2D? I couldn't find it

Yeah name is sorted, logo is sorted. Miner is internal in the wallet as there is no external miner for Argon2d.

I am testing on an i7 4***HQ laptop CPU and its hitting 21khash with the AVX2 optimisations enabled.

This gives room for development of an external CPU miner, then progression towards GPU miners etc. hopefully nice and steady.

Okay if you need any help testing let me know. Im running Windows and can test it on an i7 at work.

In June we ll probably have an AMD Ryzen as well.

You would hit between 30-40000hashespersec
