It takes knowledge to be able to know, if the link we receive is really official or from a fraud. and basically if I get a link to claim free coins, I won't do it. because not necessarily the coins we claim can be traded
What if the coins promised is a legit coin like Bitcoin or ranking coins? then you will get interested lol !!  the thing here is never become greedy and also never become Noob . in the status of crypto now , only Stupid account will believe that there will be a freebies because the value of crypto is really increasing .
and the main reason why there are emailing happening is that scammers and hackers are going to way in the popularity of crypto so they knew that noob and greed is the best and easy target.

Scammers are at it again sending out bulk mails disguised to be from pancakeswap congratulating you on winning some free ethereum or other coin. The link below is attached to it disguise to be wallet connect link which will require your confirmation on your wallet to claim the free coin. https://walletsconts.com/claim_token.htm.

If you receive such mail, make sure you don't follow the link on your wallet or give any permission in order to stay safe from their scam.

We should get rid from this tricky tricks of scammers, and guess their desperately undertaking several traps to mislead people and become as preys of their darker intentions.
This shouldn't be kept happening, and in order to stop it we should always bare in mind that these suspected links must not be trusted particularly when the sender wasn't in your safe lists.
Cryptocurrency involves huge amount of money, so becoming vigilant is our important strategy regarding a serious matter like this.

Along with the development of cryptocrancy, there are many things that happen in it, one of which is a scammer, where scammers often occur in bonty and airdrob, I think to avoid this it is better to research carefully whether the bonty and airdrob have an official website or address  , if not, don't ever go into it, because it can make you a big loss.
To avoid it, aside from researching carefully is to avoid joining those suspicious bounties and airdrops that might get your attention.
Well, about making a big loss as you mention with those. There's no capital that you're investing into both of those but what's worse is that you're wasting your time.
Not only wasting your time actually but you are also part of the scam as these scammers will victimized investors with lack of knowledge and they will just leave after the crowd sale, in the end, you'll get nothing from your contribution but investors are scammed because of the promotions of the bounty hunters with lack of knowledge.

If we will not support a suspicious project, it will not gain awareness to the community and investors will be safe from scams, that's the logic.

Scammers will continue to commit fraud over and over again in the same way as long as there are still victims to deceive. Because today there are
still many people who are deceived by joining bounties and airdrops that promise big profits. Even though the reality is that the bounties and airdrops
are fake, in the end we just wasted our time being bounty hunters for a few weeks. Therefore, there is no other way, we really have to be careful
in choosing the bounty or airdrop that we will participate in, always research in depth. What hurts more is that we as bounty hunters help promote
a project that turns out to be a scam. In the end, many investors became victims, by investing in the scam project.

they're following what's trending and making phishing link just to caught some victims around the internet, so you should be aware and visit the real website if its legit or not,  however if it's from unknown sender then stay away in it wherein never ever visit the link because mostly got hack through that way.. So be careful and never trust such information or messages that poping up to your email.. Scammer will always makes a way just to scam people around the internet remember that mate to protect your personal information and etc.
The most horrible thing is that google works with reporting and if you report something then they usually take it down and ban them to ever work with the same google account as well. However until you report them, there are so many phishing attempts done on specific websites, when Binance first started it was very popular, there were many many websites like blnance and so forth that ended up making people lose so much money, and that caused people to actually end up reporting and taking that down and another came up with binence or whatever.

So, it continues until it is taken down and that is the biggest problem google has right now, there is no prevention, just redemption and that helps the scammers do phishing so easily, and this is google that we are talking about, if they do it this easily on google, think how easy it is for them everywhere else.

Unknown emails must be ignored and deleted. Do not use your seed phrase or private keys to any website that you're not using and not official. These scammers will try to trick your emotion, two types of emotion, happiness, and sadness. Happy in a manner that you'll receive an email from them like what OP has said. And sadness, through playing with it telling that you've been literally hacked by someone and does the same trick of putting another link to stop the hacking. That's why we should always be calm and verify the domain of the email that has sent the message.
It's just an email, come on it won't bite you and as long you have a proper understood of what kind of link you should click or not to click. Those puny scam emails should not make you shy away from reading unknown mails from unknown senders. I'm more worried about the breach of your email where some scammers know your email address and attempt to scam you. Anyone should has at least a number of emails from level 1-3: for work and personal contact, for entertainment purposes like gaming or forums site (bitcointalk), and last for sites that you don't trust but still have to register.
I also experience this I recieve different email from unknown sources. But I egnore them all, because I understand that this email is maybe a scam. I only reply or open an email when I know the sources. Sometimes we need to be vigilant and extra careful because scammers are very smart they always looking for an open opportunity to scam people without any doubt or hesitation.

There are many people who have just started to take an interest in cryptocurrencies. Likewise, scammers are finding new methods every day. It's a little easier to scam new investors, especially if you tell them you're going to give away something for free
We should always be careful and not click on links we do not know. Nothing will ever be free Smiley

Another good reason for scammers to attack,

As newcomers don't have any ideas regarding to this kind of scheme since they are new inside they think that crypto is a safe haven for them to earn money.

Scammers let them feel that way and allure them with freebies, and after they take the actions scammers easily execute and emptied their wallets.

It's just a repeated way but putting some twist to allure people who easily attached with freebies, make sure to avoid this kind of offers, more safe to work with your assets without looking for an easy way to pocket some dust profits.

scammers never run out of ideas to steal our money so don't believe anything that doesn't make sense....i heard many experienced the theft of their tokens when linking their wallets with the smart contracts of a bsc token.  even my trustwallet is often sent fake tokens by scammers for free, not easily tempted is the key not to be deceived.
That's the thing about scammers, they do not really come up with "new" ideas, they just change the shape of a few certain scams that everyone still falls for.

You can check the article regarding scams on
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_confidence_tricks this on wikipedia and you will realize that every single scam that you have seen will be one way or another related to these scams in the list.

Obviously they change the design and shape it like a brand new thing so that you do not fall, but they are all the same.

People are falling for ponzi scheme in this day and age, it has been about one century since the first one and people still fall for it, is it because people come and ask you to give them money so they can buy post stams to make a profit?

Obviously not, that is what Charles Ponzi did, and these days people just change the post stamp with something else and make it more official looking and people still fall for it. Hence it is not new, it is just rebranded version of something on that list all the time.

If you get any notification from unknown sources that you did not participate, just ignore and block them. There are several scammers that are trying to take advantage of anything that is going on and many will fall for these scams. If someone accidentally connect the wallet then their private key is gone. So always make sure about admin impersonators in Telegram and luring people in the pretext of winning a giveaway.

First, we should be aware that scammers are everywhere, and 2nd, we should know what are scams in crypto so we will not fall for their scams. Being knowledgeable on the scam techniques will make us successful someday, we are here in a risky market, if we are not careful we would lose everything.

There are different kinds of scams, there are those who look legit but is a scam in reality, and there are those who are obviously a scam but some people still fall for it.

The only thing we can avoid from them is to be getting aware of what we are doing and never have the chance to let them get in touch with you by not talking with them.

Yes, if you don't let them touch with you, you protect yourself a little more. But this is not enough to avoid being scammed. There are many other methods such as phishing or similar, as long as we use the internet, we are always at risk Smiley
The best way to protect ourselves is to do a lot of research and follow the forum. New methods will always appear

Exactly, scammer will always try to find a ways to fool and scam people. Their victims are always those people who are not aware and newbie. Being vigilant and always stay away from too good to be true antics and youll be fine.

When someone giving away tokens for free or there is investing opportunity with a very attractive interest rate, we must always be very careful. It is greed that most often leads people into the hands of scammers and turns them into victims.

Thanks for warning about this scam.

Scammers will not be getting tired to find a way to scam innocent people. They make this thing for a living but it was very unfortunate they come into evil things to feed their tommies and to their family. if we are not aware of this kind of scam, it surely we got caught with their promising offerings and especially for the newcomers who have greedy souls and wanted instant rich.
