Students they vex how this man go just come one day increase school fees reach the amount of money way e reach to buy some piece of land for some local areas, abi e good like that?
Weytin de really happen for the country? Cost of living wan kill the living, how things de spoiled set by set. I've come to the conclusion say, our beloved country, Nigeria don finally go and we go de experience back to back suffer and this government administration don make life hard for the common man. Students sef don de affected based on the increased in school fees, no b everybody get that sense to dey hold ground and working smart, those wey no fit go just remain behind because things de hard everyday.
Nigerian educational system is very high and not everyone in this country can afford to go school now as the school fees are gradually becoming unbearable for students and their guidance. The system of education and it's government is so fucked up, so for now I don't know if the common man or students can even afford school fees on these days. Things re getting harder day after day, and the worst of it about Nigerian educational system is the student can not do job and still work at same time, the classes time is not scheduled properly, but let's keep the education outside, what about our economy? The economy is also bad and things are also getting higher.

This one nah the unilag protest link, and the worst part of the matter be say even the police men beat up students.

Nigeria cases it’s not a small issue, firstly our major problem is leadership, political system: the politicians. The don’t give the Nigeria education system focus on improvement and development.when even budget of 1.5 trillion naira is set for Nigeria for development there’s no check and balance of the account how the money is spent at all.this politicians don’t care because there student are sent outside the country to school and which is bad for us.with out considering the masses the just increase or inflate price of school without out caring out a survey and how the country and hardship is in the country.so Nigeria still need to go under seriou restructuring to be able to succeed and have to pass this trying times.

I thought there was an approval for students loan that the government claimed to want to implement then, so what happened?
It is just sad how the youths gets to struggle for almost everything that are normally supposed to be a right and the government will still expect upon having a job to fund their coffers with taxes that they use to fund trips and vacations abroad.
Another annoying thing is the fact that the police don't even go by the law in trying to contain a riot or stop one from happening.

Does the Lagos state university not belong to the governing body of ASUU? Aren't fees supposed to not be more than a certain limit considering the economy of the nation?
I no even know how far about dat student loan matter, weda dem later approve am or not, because talk is cheap for dis country, dem go enter power and give us plenty promises and we go come get false hope, na implementations be di problem for di country. Di hardship wey people de face for di country no concern dem, and den no de happy say di children of di poor people de enter university to rub shoulders with dem children, and di only way to frustrate di poor students na to de hike school fees so e go de out of di reach of dem poor parents. Na only God, go help di poor masses for dis country.

Honestly, I don't really know what is happening in our country Nigeria. School fees matters is a very serious one that have to be look into by our government ooo. I wonder schools will be increasing school fees every year. How can people be paying#200,000 has school fees. Honestly I don't understand. And the point here is that, you will this big amount of money as school fees at the end one drunker will come to class and be teaching you nonsense say him de lecture. Most of the lecturer in the university can not even teach the students to understand. Even when you try to ask question the next thing is go home and read about it you will understand. When you as a lecturer teach the person never understand na when the person go home go read about it the person go understand. #200,000 school fees, still after exams a lecturer will tell you to pay money else you will fail his course. The financial load that most of our students are carrying today is too much. It can cause so many to be depressed and lost zee to go to school.  So many of your citizens have the dream of going to university but when they think about the fees involved, they became afraid. Especially thosed that their parents have no good source of income. Abeg make government look into this school fees matters because is getting worse every year by year.

This matter is very painful that the current government is not ready to easy the pains of it's citizens, it's already observed that the more the citizens cried the more they increase their pains. The school fees issue that has leads to many poor citizens drop out of school never border the government but another one of increasing light bills is their concerns as it will still affect the citizens more .

What our leaders forgot is that by the time you keep increasing pains and hardship to the citizens, the reverse is always unlimited crime rate.

One thing is always sure about cutting corners which ever means that is used a shirt cut us always a wrong cut, we uses nepotism and ethnicity to put away what is called democracy accepting kakistocracy as the best where the least among the best leads, we should not expect anything that sorrow and pains because it's who have you in heart the gives you listening ear.

Education is gradually loosing values in Nigeria. A lot of Naija youths are unable to afford school fees and this alone have discouraged lots of them.

This is a point to say even our professors are mentally unstable and doesn't portray that psychological and sociological perspective to build a well fairing society.
In some situations this course of increments of school fees is being manipulated by the professors including other stakeholders in the academic walls and not the federal government of Jagabam as maybe suspected.
It's most time be to create amenities where lecturers can rely on earnings during when the governments are being unable to pay them off their salaries. So logically they're extorting the students by irrelevant increments of fees while the school staffs are benefitted from it.

If such acts continues how would the situation be encouraged for a below average citizens to meet up with their academic dreams?
I think this particular act would get more youths in the streets involving on unnecessary activities because the educational infrastructures to breed potential and responsible citizens would be no more affordable.
Let's not even have this mentality that education is not the Only way and not really necessary. The truth is that the existence of education has potentials to crime rate control and also digresses on the necessity of reputations in ligns of civilized mental faculties.
What do you think you are saying? If the government in the federal level is taking proper action into this kind of things there won't be much increment of fess and things won't be going anyhow in school. If the university bodies whether a state, federal or private university, do not treat the lectures right then the lectures would be frustrated to take some actions by hitting up a strike. However, the strike has done nothing good at all. Their pensions are still being owed; monthly income still not paid. If it were you, it will be frustrating which the only way to meet up with life expenses then is to feed off from the student any way you can.

Although the rich can still afford to pay all of this and that is why not everyone is expected to go to the university. I can remember my lecturer would always say this thing; if you can't afford the fees in school then quit the school is not for you. What he meant is that instead of struggling in school when the school bodies would not want to pity any student then the student should quit because every staff in school are ready to extort as much they can from student without minding if they student can afford those things or not.

Waiting be this one abeg? Must we suffer every day of our life, as I see this news now na e make me Dey think say as them increase unilag own e go soon reach everybody, every school for Naija school fees must increase, our country matter come be like country wey Dey don swear for, why be say government this days no wan do something wey be say at the end na hell fire them go enter, to be honest I Dey see each president regime but this tinubu own Dey different, this tinubu regime be like say we are living the life of slave in our own country, every day of our life na so we Dey face problems.

Base on this news , to be honest this is too much and it will really affect many people, this price of this school fees is too high, this amount can be use to set up a business, and even use to make a land to build a house, but sha this is not the mr president fault, now it is high time we know how to choose a good leader, the unilag that the school fees was increased is in Lagos and the Lagos people are the one shouting around saying that JAGABAN must win the election, now he has win the election, now is the time to face the problem together.

I no even know where this country is leading us to because to be sincere this is getting out of hand, e come mean say people wey no get money no go fit afford school fee again then wetting be the work of government and why are they in that office and why is the school fee of Federal University be high like this?

Although for northern side, the school fee never high like that but 200k Naira is much for undergraduate, the funny part is that even after the school, no guarantee job they outside they wait for u.

I have been experiencing bad government for a while but this administration is getting out of control, food, shelter, social amenities and other things we need are expensive and the government is not supporting again; insecurity come join them again ”For this country now, the cost of living wan kill the living”

Na true u talk so, I no just understand Naija, if u won understand am today, tomorrow u no go understand am, Naija just fluctuating like say na coin and e come be like say the cost of living dey increase everyday and the people wey suppose to help us dey cause more trouble. Some people don even give up for this country. We just need to do something different, but we no know wetin we go do. How dem go expect person wey no get job or good business to take care of him family wen be say food, rent, school fee and everything else don increase.

I dey sure say we fit do something if we fit just comot our personal interest from the matter, come put the interest of Naija first although for this country na only God go just save us all if not people go die, Naija go jaga jaga and corruption go still dey increase more so even if the government no care about the property dem dey rule, e no mean say we no get get the things wey we want get but make we stand up for ourselves and our families and try get wetin we want even though everything dey hard, so one day e go better and na just na we believe say we fit make am.

This is serious. Na to leave school to learn trading or skills be that. This is not fair to the masses. Imagine where I was paying transport fair of 100 it's now 200 within 2weeks interval. Everyone has to work harder because to survive in this country, you will need multiple streams of income.
This naija matter don tire everybody i swear as things just de cost everyday and the worse thing be say once the price of something don go up e de hard to come down and even if e come down na just small the price go drop. Omo if person no see money pay school fees na to find better trade learn oo even the school sef wey we de go work no sure after school and for this country now na money be koko. This kind amount wey dem dey demand like this person fit use the money learn work sef and if you add am up for 4 or 5 years you go see say no be small money oo.

School is good too cos we no know the miracle wey go happen and e de pain say work opportunity come but you no get the qualifications. The money is too much but if we go fit afford am make we just try go if not na to learn trade sure pass be dat as no be only people wey go school God de bless.

For that same Lagos state, na im dem dey harass and beat up voters wey don see the thing wey dis Tinubu go do because dem wan vote against him. If we look very well self we go see some of the lasu Muslim bigots wey follow dey harass people wey no wan vote APC/TINUBU. Yes many Muslim feel say instead wey Christian go become president say make Tinubu dey there and dem rig him enter, today na who the thing affect go dey bear am. Tinubu na tax wey him sabi, na to increase standard of living and not to improve it na him im sabi.
If I talk sey dis govment go worse pass Buhari own both in human rights abuse and economics e go bi like I dey cast dem. Those wey dey benefit directly from APC go think sey I dey attack dem. What do you expect when you allow a man wey get questionable character as president? What? Nothing good of course. Tinubu go worsen the situation with taxes and touting. Make we watch and see. I mark myself safe from all their shenanigans, anyway.

Let us be sincere with ourselves, from inception the government of this country does not have its citizens at heart, it is an unpatriotic act by the government to allow or mandate university heads to increase school fees at this moment when Nigerians barely feed 2times a day, it is very shameful, I think governance has to change hand, we should not expect favorable policies from clueless rulers, Nigeria as a country have a long way to go, our government do not imitate good things from other countries where education is seen as a preparation for the future theoretically and practically, some country give student loan to repay, when they graduate and get a job, but the criteria that enables Nigerian students to access the loan facility here, is discouraging, our government has to rethink before is too late.

When education becomes more affordable, it allows more people to become educated, leading to development across all sectors of a country. It is concerning that the cost of education in Nigeria has become very high, preventing children from lower-class and poor families from pursuing their educational goals. It is important for the government to address this issue by subsidizing education and making it more accessible to all.

Bro be4 dey like am as we poor dey go skul na becus dey believe say our eye go to open and there children no go get space again to cut the national cake as dey dey do am be4. Dey get any way to commut us form skul, na em dey use dis method increase di skul fees. As matter turn like this ba I dey advice everybody to go learn handwork to dey survive for this country because our leader no dey think about us at all, their cost of governance dey increase day by day becus dey dey cover di inflation wey dey occur everyday living us dey suffer. Make we shine our eyes becus even though we dey shut like tomorrow no dey, dey no go help us since their children no the among us.
