As expected time is bringing good news about acceptance of bitcoin even in the university is a very good new for new users like me. Thanks for the news I believe and very much confident that in our country also bitcoin will be accepted very soon. Government has no choice then to accept the technology for their financial policies for their countries development.

This is good news for those who have Bitcoin, parents who have Bitcoin will pay their children's learning money using Bitcoin, I think it's cool. And I'm sure in the end there will be more schools using Bitcoin. An interesting idea.

Universities are embracing accepting bitcoin for tuition, with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland the latest school to adopt. If anything, it's another clear sign the cryptocurrency is here to stay.

Even so... Bitcoin has been used to buy homes, and countries like Venezuela and Vietnam are beginning to truly embrace the currency. Now, certain universities are adopting the payment method of bitcoin for tuition, albeit with a few caveats.

Good to know, Hoping it would be implemented too in the Philippines it would be such a great help then. But for now i'm happy that some businesses accept it as a payment method and there is a news that we already have some bitcoin atm.

That's really good because in our country still government is not saying anything about the Bitcoin. But it is really good for the people who are holding Bitcoin in your country. May be very soon we can expect some green signals from the government.

This is great for the Bitcoin community. Specially for as parents, we can use our Bitcoin savings to pay for our childs education. I hope other countries and schoolds may be encouraged by this move. This is also one factor why Bitcoin price is surging now. Acceptance of digital currency to pay education.

That's great news! Glad that I started joining bitcoin this year to save more and it can be used soon for my future kids. Bitcoin is really a promising income and currency. Better to start it now to gain or earn while waiting for your kids to get into school soon. If it happen today then possibly 5-10yrs from now its more acceptable not only for tuition fees but also with other basic needs or payments.

On the legal point of view it is really in the school's discretion if they really want to accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment for the student's tuition fee. As we all know there is a certain risk especially for businesses when it comes to handling Bitcoin especially when your country is not a cryptocurrency friendly country, the risk involves legal action like a lot of tax discrepancies which all taxing department are strict about. But on the other hand it is really good to see that a lot of schools now are accepting Bitcoin.

Its very good news that bitcoin accepting tuition Switzerland. its milestone of crypto currency. Bitcoin  popularity is increasing day by day another  big example.
Well in a technical sense I would say that this is not an improvement but an expansion, in a way that it is constantly gaining reputation, and out of that reputation it finds more options. Therefore that options expands the probabilities of it making it more popular and goes on the loop. The use of Bitcoin is now starting to get recognized by the people, although few countries are not quite convinced by this still it is making its pumped price.
Come on, this is an a great improvement for bitcoin where some people would just buy bitcoin and spent them to pay their tuitions and save them for the next semesters to come where they would probably spent lower bitcoins since it's price may probably go up after the current semester. A lot of investors would definitely be attracted to it so the popularity of bitcoin will grow once again and so is it's price.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great idea that some schools are accepting Bitcoin as a form of payment, it definitely helps spread awareness about Bitcoin in general.
But what I would really like to see is more schools offering courses focused on Bitcoin and blockchains.

If we could see crypto-currency related courses from both an economic and a technical point of view, I'd be much more excited.
