I have played this type of gambling several times, but have never won once. In my opinion, this is a type of gambling that is quite difficult to beat, because it requires strong instincts. And now it's been a long time since I played gambling like this, the last time I played gambling like this was when I was still at school. And gambling like this can really use up my pocket money... hihihi

And when I saw your post, I felt curious enough to play this type of gambling again, but where I live I no longer see any shops that provide it. In fact, in the past there were lots of shops that provided it, perhaps because nowadays most people have switched to online gambling, so maybe this type of gambling is no longer interesting to play.
Totally laughable isnt it? with some mix of some temporal burst of emotion on which you would really be having thoughts that there's no one would be able to win this.
Actually i had bought some cards something like this but it was just only a few or lets say 20 in total and totally stop after than because i do have in mind that it is really that
totally pointless on spending up some bucks just to look for some wins out of these cards. Yes, winning significant prizes is slim and thats what make things
interesting but not all would really be having that fund on sustaining but for the sake of curiosity and a little bit excitement then its not bad to deal up with these things.

Here is a fun question: What is the most you have ever won off of a scratch off ticket? What brand ticket was it?
It was with finnish "Ässä arpa". it had this a tic tac toe as a second game. I scratched everything but one corner and realized that no matter if it's X or O i am going to win. Then i scratched the section how much will it be and it was 2000€ at the time i bought it with my debit card because there was only 3€ in it, and i couldn't withdraw it as cash from ATM, and i can't remember why, but i needed 3€ in cash. So i thought i have a slight change i get 3€ back as that's the lowest prize, and cash register in that kiosk would pay it to me in cash.

Ironically i had to wait for next day to cash such big prize from my bank. I took it all out and went shopping, as at the time i knew nothing about investing. But new laptop came in handy anyway at the time.

I never won anything big after that when ever i bought. And i stopped buying them when i found cryptos, did some math, and realized i have actual changes to money with them if i know what i am doing.
Last time i won from scratch card, it was 300€ from a card i go a a gift. I haven't bought a scratch card since. Odds to get even my own back, at least with scratch card in my country are ridiculously low.

Scratch-off lottery tickets hold a certain allure. They're inexpensive, accessible, and offer a quick shot of excitement. You're absolutely right – they can be a fun way to unwind, a small indulgence for a potential thrill.

There's a certain honesty in your approach. You acknowledge the odds are stacked against you, yet you enjoy the act of playing itself, the "scratch-off shuffle" as some might call it. Imagine it like a small amusement park ride – a brief burst of anticipation and surprise, without the expectation of a life-changing jackpot.

And let's not forget the unexpected windfall.  Your story of a big win followed by responsible money management highlights a key point – moderation is key.  You secured some profit, ensuring you came out ahead, even if the following tickets weren't winners.

When I was 17 years old I had the great idea to buy entire roll of scratch offs.  That comes to $300 a roll so if $10 tickets you get 30, if $5 tickets then you get 60 scratch offs, so on and so forth.  Me and a buddy of mine split the roll cost and we're gonna split the massive profits we were destined for.  After what seemed like hours of scratching we came away with around $130 basically losing $170.  Good lesson for a young dumb kid.  Since then I've gotten them for gifts and such and have never won more than $50 on any single one.  But most are lovers.  I equate scratch offs as I do slots.  If not fun then I don't want to play a losing sum game.  Scratch offs don't do it for me so I don't buy them.

It's been very long time since I saw scratch of coupons, I thought it extincted, LOL.

Scratch off can be extremely lucky depends on the probability of the winning amount and that's not the case with the one you are talking because it doesn't make sense to spend $1 to win the same amount and it's unlimited money hack for the one who created and selling.

Scratch off ticket is actually one of the old patterns in gambling that many of us had experienced long time ago, its actually fun to do and we have series of wining items we can scratch off and luckily win any of them, i was not fully involved into gambling then when i used to play for such kind and i don't even think i can remember the specific amount ever won that is the highest they are as of then in physical casinos and i don't think if the online crypto gambling casinos have incorporated on this for gamblers online.

We have scratch-offs here in the Philippines, and the highest I got from it was 300 pesos (equal to $5.40) and every scratch off after that was just a money sink. It was fun though, you stake half a dollar and win more than that. The chances are extremely stacked against you, but it's still somewhat inviting to buy those in bulk and play with your chances considering how cheap they are.

I still play the normal lottery but avoided the scratch-offs altogether. It's a fun little game but just like the lottery, you will just lose money in the long run. At least with the lottery, you have the chance to win extremely big if you're just going to play with your chances anyway, why not take it to the next level.

Here is a fun question: What is the most you have ever won off of a scratch off ticket? What brand ticket was it?

I don't find scratch cards as interesting and worthy of spending with even if does have a cheap price. The prize reward is only limited and it was only distributed in certain places. For example, there are 1,000 quantities of $1 prize, 500 quantities of $5 prize, and so on at some specific location.

As a business mindset, the location where it always established more and bigger sales will have few quantities of a much larger price. Anyways, don't be serious on the number figures I mentioned. It's just an example but the real and accurate numbers is larger than that.

Funny story. Here in my country we do not have scratch off lotteries, unfortunately. We only have the clasical lottery modality which is about buying a ticket and then waiting for the draw night when the numbers are randomly selected and winners are declared.
I have never seen scratch off lotteries here in my country but I know that if there were, they would be very popular, specially because there are people who could easily spend several dollars on gambling and many would feel curious during the first days of the existence of those lotteries here, curious enough to spend money on it, as a novelty.

Be careful with those tickets though, from reading to your story, to me, it seems you are betting pretty much hooked up to those scratch offs and before you realize, you could be spending much of your money on them. Good luck, regardless!

Haven't played that in a long time so I can't remember how much I've won but I do know how my lock works when it comes to scratch off tickets, not that good and I know that it's going to be a cascading effect the moment that I decide to buy more tickets to try and get a win is going to be a really bad headache for me and it's going to be the start of an addiction, I know that the first time that you've played consecutively in a day won't make you an addict but I'm telling you that it only takes one day before you would become an addict, it's an all too common story, one try and then you wouldn't notice it, you got addicted to it.

I really like the concept of an online gambling that involves scratch off tickets but I can picture how boring it's going to be when it does happen though, I don't think that it will be consistently popular but it's definitely going to gain curious eyes to try it out, isn't this thing already done in Gacha games?

So while we are on the discussion and topic of gambling, I wonder if there has every been a scratch off ticket thread?

I was at the gas station today and I said screw it lets get two $1 scratch of tix because why not.

The first one was a flop, but the second one was a winner! I won one lol Just $1. Whoopty doo lol

So I used that winner ticket to go and buy another ticket, and guess what!? The same thing happened again and I won one lol.

I am going to go back tomorrow and get another one and see what happens and keep you guys posted!

Here is a fun question: What is the most you have ever won off of a scratch off ticket? What brand ticket was it?

That is an addictive form of lottery and back in time many years ago in my country where I live now it was popular.I remember it only costed like 0.50 dollars to scratch one ticket with the possibility to win up to 100.000 dollars and boy were people like crazy playing it because of the low cost, instant knowing if you were a winner or not.

I think this would be a great addition if some casinos opt to revive such type of game and to use as low as 0.10 dollars bet I am sure this would be a massive success to the casino first implementing such game.As for winning I only won once 27 dollars from scratching many tickets but lost much more than that  Grin.

I used to try out scratch tickets but it some point just like OP I was always retuning to it again with the hopes of winning bigger amount and I could Percive gradual addiction so I had to take a break on it and since then I've found it actually difficult going back to it since it wasn't turning out with good sums it got me discouraged, the biggest I've gotten out of it was a $10 card and it felt like a joke because I wasn't playing for fun actually as at when I was on it so I told myself I can't continue with this I had to stop.

It isn't a really bad game especially if you just want to have fun just like OP then you can go on and on with it and you can be sure to not get emotional about loses if made because the Intention was actually for fun and not to make good money off it.

It's been years since I last bought a scratch card, the last time I bought a few cards was with my wife, I had to exchange some money and they had scratch cards too, so I bought a few... we didn't win anything sadly.

I don't buy scratch-off cards, but I play online ones, usually from BGaming Scratch Alpaca bronze and gold. I have never won any big prizes, but from time to time I give it a try... who knows, maybe one day I will get lucky with some big win from online scratch cards.

I like this thread... if I don't forget, I will buy a few scratch cards one of these days and share them here. Good luck to everyone!

First, congrats on your strategic scratch-off game wins—you've mastered mini-wins! Scratch-offs are their own world, right? You've felt the suspense and brief exhilaration of winning, even a dollar. The thrill, chance, and hope that this next ticket is the big one are all important.

In response to your question on the biggest scratch-off win, lets talk big, beautiful numbers. Records show people winning millions from tickets costing less than a nice lunch. Scratch-offs make wealth accessible with just a few dollars and a coin to scratch away the silver coating, which is their appeal.

Im getting analytical here, but it becomes interesting. Odds are carefully calculated. These games fuel that hope and keep you coming back. It exploits humans' desire for rapid gratification and easy victory. Scratch-offs are an interesting study of hope, chance, and sometimes the relentless search of luck.

Scratch tickets are very popular here in our country scratch tickets are being sold at lottery outlets so if you're a lotto bettor you will likely get attracted to buying these scratch tickets, because its instant you will know right away if you win, this is how our scratch ticket looks like.

I'm not very lucky in this kind of game the highest prize I won was $10 and I won many times considering the cost of the ticket is not even half a dollar.
You can win up to $10k if you're lucky to scratch the right combinations.

Speaking of the scratch. I just purchased a couple of tickets yesterday when I pass by on a local lottery outlet near our marketplace. I purchased 10 cards worth 20 pesos each for a total of 200php.

Most of the card is useless but I still manage to win some even though it’s still not enough to break even. I decided to just save the scratch cards for remembrance instead of claiming it since I don’t really need the money that I use on this purchased.

What a nostalgic scratch cards from our country. I really missed purchasing this scratch card way back when I’m still working on my previous company with lotto outlet near our building. This our hangout during break time when we have few change from our food purchase.

Red Hot 7 and Money Tree is my other favorite cards to play. The highest win I earn on this game is 1000php multiple times on different occasion. I’m very lucky on playing this game probably because I’m only buying some whenever I feel that I will win just like my luck when playing slot games. Nice to stumble here a scratch it gold game in PH.

The most I've won is about $20 but have seen how people can get highly addicted to them. I've seen some people buy loads of these in one go and it seems like a terrible idea, even more so because they seem to get trapped in this endless cycle of buying more. They are perhaps one of the most dangerous forms of gambling and they can be quite visible in shops, compared to other types, like slot machines which can be hidden away - however this would be country dependent on the laws. Brands are almost meaningless, because it's all basic calculations that go into manufacturing these batches of cards.

I laughed at the story you were telling: the ticket cost $1, and then you won $1, as if your bet was just returned. I hope when you come back you hit that scratch game with a big amount.
May luck be with you.

I only see that in the ads here on the Facebook social media platform, but I never tried to play it because it seems like it's hard to win like that, and it's really just luck from what I see.

See the x3 40 and x3 20, that’s a total 60php win or 1$+.   Grin Grin Grin

Lol, but it's the banana mate, I will do some from time to time when I can, in the market, in the mall, in a local lottery near our place. Same with you, will purchase a lot of tickets. And then me and my wife will enjoy "scratching" the ticket and see if we won or not.

If by chance we won big, then it's going to be a big treat, hehehe.

But if it's break even, still good though, at least we still have some money to buy the next day or when we have a chance,  Grin.

What’s your largest win so far on this scratch card. I’m kinda got addicted and try again today but I have no luck with 5 cards. I just knew this to my coworker because he keeps playing this whenever we go to the mall but I never saw him won above 500php while he spending almost 1000php whenever he play during our payday at work.

I want to try too other scratch cards by pcso. I just want to start on the banana because it’s really calling me to scratch him badly. The smell of scratch card is really so addictive.

I will post here once I’ve got a juicy win which I already feel tomorrow. Wink
