I bet that is phony, googling that email shows tons of stuff registered all over the world.

Why would any competent scammer like Scamtos ever use any real-life identity info, this site has stolen millions of bitcoin, no?  Huh

That's the hosting provider's abuse contact. Let's put it to good use.

What is going on here?

OP cancels withdrawals, uses the funds to buy "KHS" on behalf of the people trying to withdraw, and rather than outrage this is the response?

BFD TURN OFF AUTO INVEST

The site just paid so I guess it is good for members.

The thing is that it still pays, just plagued with 'problems'.

It's almost beyond belief that anyone still thinks the site is "good for members" at this point!

Some people are LITERALLY that stupid man. I got my final withdrawal and I'm still pinching myself because tons of people aren't. Guess I got lucky. I empathize with the investors getting ripped off. I took a hit myself. I really hope this son of a bitch gets a lethal dose of bad karma sooner rather than later.

That's from CloudFlare regarding where the website is hosted. I doubt Scamtos' identity will be revealed but they can damn sure shut his website off. PhoenixNAP is a very real data center in Phoenix, AZ.

It's about time for this nonsense to end. The fact that the domain and site are tied to the US is an interesting twist.

from bad to worse ... marshmallow scamtos enabled the auto reinvest, i guess this must be the same for everybody ?

my auto invest was activated without my knowledge as well and because of that the few BTC earned from rewards we're spent buying those low priced KHS which is now useless because we can't even withdraw.

The Scrypt.cc domain is registered through eNom, from Kirkland, WA via Namecheap, in California. Further research reveals that the host is PhoenixNAP, a very popular datacenter in Arizona. Anyone with a few minutes should be able to corroborate this. If you're looking to have the scam shut down, PhoenixNAP, NameCheap, and CloudFlare are your best bets.

Thank you sir (or madam), there are a few agencies that might be interested in looking into this kind of... ummmm... "business" being conducted in the US. Is it really hosted in AZ, not just the CloudFlare frontend?

CloudFlare Abuse Dept. will give up the host for legit complaints. Also doesn't hurt if you used to be involved with a venture that did some hosting at PhoenixNAP and happen to have a contact there. Wink

It's plausible. Namecheap DOES have a DC in Phoenix. I would know because I rent server space from them.

Interesting answer from TheCleanGame to the question why the Admin always use a VPN when he connect to IRC.
He needs to protect himself. You ask 'for what?'. Well..

Quote
TheCleanGame> it's an illegal mining op in brazil that uses smuggling to avoid import taxes and cash to avoid country taxes

I think TheCleanGame is MARCELO! He has been there from day one and was the first mod in the chat

But I think he was there when Admin would come into the chat room. So both of them were there at the same time I believe.

Don't you know that anyone can be on irc as more than one person?  Tongue

Not IRC, chat room.

So................................................................Teh END??? Grin

Only 3 buy orders for kh, price is down to 102 sataoshi, people not getting withdrawals. Seems really close to the end to me but SCC is dying a slow painful death and never seems to just go away.

I have made about 30 withdraw requests in the past week. I have not received even 1 in the past week.

He even deleted some of them. Not returned to the account, just deleted them. One 10 BTC withdraw - made longer than one week ago - shows as complete (processed) but never arrived in my wallet.

Never SCC
