Guys please keep calm. The miner went (and still) down for an eletricity as the new report:
Hello Users,
Today (11/05/2015) the electricity of our data center hosting our ASICs was shutoff halting our mining operations temporarily. According to our provider, there are irregularities in our contracts that were found during an audit.
We have our lawyers on the case looking to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
While the lawyers do their thing, our hands are tied leaving us not much to do but wait. The provider isn't breaking any laws yet, law says they have 72 hours to reestablish the energy.
We will keep you updated.
All people start to sell khs and the price dropped down very fast (388 1 khs at the moment), hope that lawyer will do their job. Admin is always in chat to reassure people.
The last solutions if the electricity will not come back will be to transfer the miner to another data center.
I am not sure a lawyer is really needed, if you paid your bill, then show the proof, you will have to go against your normal policy and provide and actual receipt of payment for them to clear the audit.
Or it could be much more complex, as if for example they feel you turned the meter down, then this would involve the need for an attorney, and this could actually take a long time to resolve. But make sure you have an attorney present at the time of the meter gauging, as well as your own electrical engineer to watch over the test.
I think the best thing for Scrypt(dot)cc is to be upfront and inform the investors of EXACTLY what is the problem, was it a problem in the record keeping of the electric company, was it false accusations of tampering with equipment what really was the problem that has caused the interruption. You should be writing down your own meter usage take a picture of the meter and staple all that together with the bill that you paid each month.
Keep in mind 1000 watts of power usage is equal to 1 KWH of usage, so for every 1000 watts of mining power you are consuming, it will be roughly 24KWH per day. So do some of your own calculations, because if they can stick it in your butt with no lube, they surely will try.
In countries like Brazil and Philippines and others as well, electricity is a luxury, they have a limited supply, so they only have so much to go around, when you are overusing a normal electircal capacity you are taking from others, if they do not produce or purchase enough electricity to fill your demand, you will have brownouts, blackouts, transformers that were not right for your usage will blow, all this costs them money and for sure they will not pay for your extra usage, they want their fair share of your business to.
