And the answer is probably the simplest. Penguins, just like many women, are out looking for something bigger. And the scientist, always eager to get the most accurate data, want to experience it in the full.
Your way of understanding the title is what made me read twice before really understanding what was really happening.
Remembered me the "man that enters an active volcano" topic title.
Meant that part of it as humor. But do you think the other part is for real? The penguins wanting bigger, I mean?
Yeah I know.
But no, the idea here that I got that it's rape, not like penguins really want it. Since penguins aren't strong or fast on earth, there isn't much escape from a seal. But what makes the seals wanting intercourse with a smaller animal, and even worst, an mammifer on an avian, I don't really know. And I just can't imagine how it can fit in.
We had an answer for the fitting-in thing, for a short while. I didn't see who posted, but then he/she deleted.
The basic thing that they said is that egg-laying animals often have a big *fancy-word-for-hole* where the eggs come out, and so it is big enough to use in an incorrect manner by other, bigger animals.
