Why not just go with the same coin theme as the existing rank icons, but in a different color that indicates a white-hat look & feel, such as green? All of these ideas are great, but most of the suggested icons do not fit the current look and feel of what the forums have to offer.

The coin gif is already in use, which means it's royalty-free (I'm assuming), and it's not hard to re-color the existing image that you're already using. The look is uniform, and it matches well with the existing feel of the forums.

I modified the milestones a bit, and maybe you could add a half-coin accent (for the fifth coin) for anyone that submits over 10,000 good reports (to match the existing rank icons).

Sometimes the most subtle changes/additions are the most effective ones. Thoughts?

Put aside those milestones change, I agree with your idea. Any other designs on this thread are so beautiful that overshadow the ranking badge - which is unnecessary for a secondary badge. Anyway, the color is a bit over colorful, grey would be better

Thoughts?

IMO they look like extension of existing rank coins - as if rank coins didn't fit into space and were transfered to the second line. It could be confusing and intermingle with rank depiction. Images which do not resemble the coins at least show straight away that they denote something different.

Why is it for instance a good thing to moderate reference linking but not proven scams?

19. Possible (or real) scams and Trust ratings are not moderated (to prevent moderation abuse).

This one is neat, but I'm not sure about the colors.

What about my variants? I think they are quite good. It's like evaluations.

I'd prefer them over nukes, but there are some points of feedback. I don't find them recognizable and the black lines are too thick, making them seemingly blurr into each other. I've seen better options in this thread.

The forum doesn't moderate scams.

They do moderate post quality, placement and plagiarism in accordance with the rules.

So the other badges don't make much sense from a forum feature standpoint.

I did realize that. But would it be a good thing to moderate scams? Why is it for instance a good thing to moderate reference linking but not proven scams?

No nukes please. I find it tasteless. Please remember what nukes really do.

For the rest. Is it important to administrate this? And if so: should accurate scam and reputation reports not be administrated too?

And so is the red: for example, in China it's a color of fortune and joy which is traditionally used for wedding gowns.
With a Chinese blood, I confirmed these; also, during death and mourning we used white, not black. Some Filipino-Chinese celebrates New Year’s Eve (not Chinese New Year) wore Polka dots with red to begin the year with fortune and joy, counting money and spreading coins all over the house to add more wealth, and gift giving using âng-pau or ang pao (Red envelope), culture.

red was never been used in any kind of Good situation IMO

It depends on culture. For instance, in Western countries white is associated with purity and peace, while people in some Asian countries use it to bury the dead. Purple is "the color of honor" in the US and also associated with nobility and royalty, but in Thailand and Brazil it's a color of mourning. And so is the red: for example, in China it's a color of fortune and joy which is traditionally used for wedding gowns.

The colors give a terrible impression. How can a red report be "good" ?  Grin
Why do you think colors are terrible?
But you can see such colors in every country, for example traffic lights have like these one.
And what colors are good for you?
Actually I agree with xtraelv, red was never been used in any kind of Good situation IMO. As you know, color red was always used in some bad situation or condition just for example is in our devices battery percentage indicator. When the status of battery is good it is in green color and turns red when it's in critical condition. Same as in danger zones, red was used as a sign. Now my question is why do you chose Red as the color of the "Good report Badge"? You can use green instead.

I prefer using these color arrangements.

I think some Mods and users can whitelist users.
Can anyone be kind enough to me to whitelist my username please? It's for reporting flexibility of course.

...
There probably should be two report buttons or two queues or something. One for urgent things and the other one for sig spam or whatever. Maybe there could be dedicated mods/patrollers that handle the sig spam etc. There's thousands of spammers and bots making thousands of posts so it's never-ending.
Or, if the system lists the reported post sorted by the date of creation... So useless old reported post will stay on the end of the list, and they won't become a good report soon. This will make the report spammers search for fresh spam post...
(Or, to create spam post with alt account, and report them immediately, so they will stay on the top... but I doubt that they will create spam posts just for the report badge Smiley )

The time between two reports for me is 9 seconds.
It's 4 seconds for me.

FYI For Sr. Member and up the "cool down" time is 4 seconds Cheesy

Sometimes I think I have short time memory loss problem LOL

How do you get yourself whitelisted by the way, if anyone care to shoot me the link?  Too lazy to hit the search button, besides rushing to see the doctor with wife. Today we might know the gander of the first baby we are expecting  Smiley

It would be very difficult and incredibly time-consuming to do 300 in one day. If people start spamming the report queue very quickly just to hit their targets then the minimum should should be made higher. Maybe 300 is too low to start with in the first place. 30k is too high though. 500 or 100 would be a good start I think as I'm sure once badges are awarded people will step up their report game.

I checked - it's real. I've sent over 800 good reports in 24 hours with 100% accuracy!

Yes, a good start will be 500-1000 report!
