3 days ago yet the market is tumbling.
Bitcoin is not supposed to go up every single day of the year! This is not some pump and dump shitcoin that is here to give people quick profit before it dies again. Adoption and rallies take time, they can't happen over night.
Over the past 30 days price has gone up 42%, what else do you expect?

Of course, you are right but I remember what happened in December 2017 just like yesterday.

The reason why I'm asking is that, most people cash out in December and that may cause a major market crash.

The market still going sideways as it gives the impression that bitcoin will go down and will go up, as the support and resistance levels are both resistants at the moment.
The bull run isn't over yet and your daughter's money will recover as long as you're willing to wait, set a goal to sell, and be prepared to cut loss if you can't wait for months.
However, bitcoin suppose to reach the ath in the next year, probably around $30k-$50 and some predict it may reach $100k.

Its not over till its over, just drifting isnt that bearish as the high price is maintained.    I doubt it falls just now without any reason, it will fight all the way down probably.      I need it to lose moving averages right now, weekly and then lose the prior recent low of about 16.5k.   Then we can talk about its over till next year.

If you are not in a hurry, it will still go up in a week or two. The market is just starting and institutions are coming in. You just have to wait though. The ones that are not into short term are going to benefit so you just have to be one of the long-term investors. OP however is investing the money intended for her daughter, I hope you don't badly need it before the price goes up.

I think the bullish rally is still ongoing and far from over.
because if we look at the chart on the market today it shows an increase and is likely to continue until 2021 and if you are lucky, of course you can return all your daughter savings that you have invested in the market, in my opinion your intention is good enough to be able. take advantage of your daughter's savings but what you are doing is too risky by risking your daughter's savings because you could lose money and if that happens it will definitely disappoint your daughter.

I invested my daughter's savings 3 days ago yet the market is tumbling.
So, I lost some of her money due the current market conditions.
You never mention the coin you really invested in because if you invested in good crypto like Bitcoin all you have to do is not panic sell until the market reaches bullish season like now.

It's December, after all!
Are the bulls gone now or what?
No, the bull run is not over but the seems to be manipulated through the institutions that joined the cryptocurrency market but sooner or later new ATH will be achieved.

You should rephrase that - you gambled your daughters future savings on an asset that you were unable to predict. If you were serious about protecting that money you would have put it into a sensible index tracker fund which would do well over the long term based on an extensive history of the stock market. You can only see 10 years worth of bitcoin history and it has been extremely volatile in that time, who knows what it will be worth in ten years time, an even better cryptocurrency might be starting to take its place by then. Then again, someone who is willing to put 100% of their money into one asset cannot be trusted to take the most sensible decisions.

Seems would mean lack of certainty or assurance but that's how this market works on the other hand. We won't know if the bull market is over or not. The market price is playing pump and dump at this moment. But the good thing is that the market price is still close to its ATH and there is still a huge chance for the market price to reach or even surpass its ATH either this year or not, we just don't know. The momentum is indeed stopped but given that no continuous downfall is occurring, hope would still be there and we just need to be patient on how things will behave in this industry.

Like you want to get instant profit from investing in crypto. If you think like that means you don't understand cryptocurrency.
Because investing in cryptocurrency must be patient, can not expect price increases every day, because sometimes it needs
several days of correction. So stay calm, because based on my analysis the bullrun isn't over yet. The price of Bitcoin and
altcoins can still go up again.

You invest your daughter's savings for 3 days and conclude that the bullrun is over when you lose some money Shocked. Bitcoin or any other asset cannot increase every day, every week or every month; be patient or leave it.

Don't get panicked when the price slightly goes down. It is not 2017. People will give you all kind of suggestion here, there is no guarantee about anything. Maybe we aren't going to see the repeat of same thing this time. Bitcoin still showing strong position. I believe bitcoin won't go down much if it get a sudden dump. Finally bitcoin will recover shortly and reach more high.

What chart are you looking at is it really Bitcoin you only invested 3 days and you want to make a profit right away, Bitcoin has a good 10.1% profit that is if you invested 11 days ago, be patient nobody losses investing in Bitcoin if they have patience, or you can sell your coin if you are in a hurry to make a profit.

Buying on high is always dangerous and if you make money then sell it. if able to hold for long then it is best to stay calm else in hurry you lose more than gaining anything. Still not sure how will bitcoin unfold in 2021 or rest of the few days in December as its rises and then fall backs again.

in the crypto currency market it is very volatile you can lose your profit easily,
especially if you buy it at the highest price, indeed the Bitcoin price this month reached $ 19700 and it was an all time high this year,
so you have to be careful if you want to entry in Bitcoin, and note that the bulls have just started, not ended.

Why does some people have this kind of mindset? Like they just plan to invest whenever they see Bitcoin in bull run but did nothing when it's on the bottom yet? If you keep doing this every time you see a bull run then you will most likely to lose your investment although there are no right time to invest but it's just too high to invest and you expect already that the market to keep growing and growing everyday.

3 days ago the price of bitcoin was already high, and you bought bitcoin at an already high price. But it would be more profitable if you buy bitcoin under $19K.
But it doesn’t matter to buy at that price either. But it is not possible in 3 days you want to make a profit.
At least you have to wait until the price increases and give a profit if you plan to sell it soon. But my advice is not to panic too much if the price of bitcoin falls,
because it will recover. It just takes time
Yeah if you buy it in these all time high price it requires at least 3 or 7 years for you to get a real profit in the next all time high lol.

There's always ups and downs and it happens real quick in crypto market, open seems lack of experience and knowledge about this or simply blind due the greedy and FOMO.
It's looks like the peak of Bitcoin Price, hard to make a call that the bull Run is still on..  Or not. You better guys don't go all in, it's not the right moment to do so unless if you buy it through the last correction that happened last week where it goes below 17k. Now we are attempting another one,  will it gets through $20k or goes down even lower than $17k?

When it comes to cryptocurrency investment, the focus of profiting shouldn't be short term. If we target long term profiting, automatically the market will give good return. The user will also have time to explore and make proper decisions. What OP have done is big mistake, he had invested at the higher price and expecting the return within a short time period. He could've done it atleast few weeks back.

First of all what you did seems very irresponsible to me, you invested money that doesn't belong to you in an asset that is very volatile, second just because the market is moving sideways that doesn't really mean that the bull market is over, that could just mean that the bulls are taking a break and are gathering strength in order to surpass the 20k level that is proving to be very difficult to break, I really hope that things go well for you because that will mean that the price of bitcoin is going up and everyone in the forum is happy because of it, but it is actions like those that can completely destroy your capital because it doesn't seem as if you know what you are doing.

People are so optimistic about Bitcoin price, would be nice to smash 20k but not sure. If you believe in the long term holding you're on bullish.

Don't act so much on community's opinion, and don't rush. Obviously high volatility things can explode anytime so consistently be set up to get the opportunity.
It will be better if we were able to set our goal in long term than in shorter plans as the price is tto volatile we must know what our goal and priorities is, in terms of OPs case it somehow looks that he only buy due to hype of the community and the unexpected price increase in the fast mounts, these price increase is already sudden and only due to Paypal news even we know BER months make the price increases, I didn't expect it to be as near as it's ATH price.

I wouldn't advise anyone to pile into the market all at once, unfortunately this is a sign that marks progression towards the top.  The reason being volatility works both ways, if people rush in they rush out and in a crowd dynamic thats destructive towards a price building.    Humans have been repeating themselves in this way across markets for thousands of years I guess, technology can be part of what effects waves in price movements so we certainly have a disruptive new technology here and also human behaviour is erratic as part of that.
BTC itself is separate from how markets price its security value, avoid over investing basically is how I'd put it.   BTC is a long term interest valid to have, dont rush too much.   Over a year ago I realised 2021 had a good chance of rising quite dramatically, it wont happen all at once I hope so a pullback now is quite bullish still.

Don't invest in bitcoins for short term and if you can't wait for  3 days and panic for this little dump, you should avoid bitcoins.
