I invested my daughter's savings 3 days ago yet the market is tumbling.
So, I lost some of her money due the current market conditions.

It's December, after all!
Are the bulls gone now or what?
You don't invest your daughter's savings without knowing and calculating the risk. When I say calculate, you should be aware that bitcoin is a volatile asset and it goes like a roller coaster. With all of those past months that we've got, usually, people really start to invest when it's an uptrend.

If the bulls are gone then we don't be sitting anymore with $19k and it's down back under $10k or even worse. You need more patience as it looks like you're wanting an overnight profit.

Why did you invest your daughters savings for the current thread? It's dangerous for you if the market goes in a wrong ways since you might lose the supposed to be savings of your daughter intended for future needs. Maybe you should think next time before doing that and only invest the amount what you have and don't put any emergency money and think about multiplying it.

Also we are not on bad side yet the bitcoin price still stabilized at $19,000+ mark so I think the bull run is not done yet and maybe we can see more on upcoming days. Also better to monitor the movements and react if something falling down happen to secure your profit or maybe to minimize your losses.
Obviously this is a wrong action, your daughter's savings should not be used wrongly like this, it will waste a lot of money if the market continues to fall and don't be affected by erratic increases, you should do the analysis first and if possible don't use emergency funds it will be very loss for you.

Well, we still expect it to come back because the current price is still above $ 19k, that means there is still a chance for a return, so when there is a profit, you have to immediately sell it and save it back to its original place then start with cold funds is much better.

I think you quote the wrong post since actually that's what I'm saying to OP since it's very wrong to risk those savings since we don't know how the market flow and what will be the figures coming tomorrow and if the bad shot strikes for sure he will end up crying for the lost what he encounter and the supposed to be savings of his daughter will gone.

And simple decline can make people who risk all get panic and that's what OP feels right now provably, but since the market still in good figures maybe the bull run is not done yet and hopefully we can see more big pumps.

Bitcoin is not supposed to go up every single day of the year! This is not some pump and dump shitcoin that is here to give people quick profit before it dies again. Adoption and rallies take time, they can't happen over night.
Over the past 30 days price has gone up 42%, what else do you expect?
The prices do not go up forever, there are misconceptions in this type of market wherein majority of the people are thinking guarantee of winning by just buying bitcoin. They do not know that there are right time of entry and exit. Just because the price of the bitcoin is currently moving below its ath it does mean its already bearish? The answer is no and it is only 3 days and you just concluding that the market is already bearish. Do mot expect that the price of the bitcoin will just up because consolidations and retracements are important and it is not even a sign of weakness. The bullish is just starting up so develop your patience and try to focus on improving your technical analysis skills.

Did you sell though? If you hold on it, then there are a chance that you will be profiting by now. If you liquidate it, did you reinvest or not?

March 2020 the price is just above $3k, and now December we are almost at $20k? So do the math, we have been in the bullish sentiments in the last 10 months or so.

Of course, you are right but I remember what happened in December 2017 just like yesterday.

The reason why I'm asking is that, most people cash out in December and that may cause a major market crash.

We are just starting the month of Dec and looking at the btc price, still good to me. We are at 19400 level and been long time that we had seen this price. How much are you expecting by now? Maybe you can sell your btc intermittently if the price is above your buying price. Don't expect that you will get huge profit by mere days of holding.

Seems like your username is my reply as well 😜 though it's a bit overrated, joking aside. Well, I don't think we are over unless Grayscale is that stupid that still buying at the top and just recently they are still increasing their holdings. I think we may not see the end of a bull run unless we make another ATH that's higher from the former.

Patience is need for any investment. You can't make profit in few days, it takes years, months to make profit. Learn how the market works before investing otherwise you'll loose your money.

I do not think the bull run is over this year.  I actually think it is only now just the beginning.

When the price of Bitcoin keeps getting closer to 20k then loses value, I keep thinking to sell and rebuy.

But anytime now we will break through the all time high because the bulls are not gone yet.
